BMO Harris Bank Refusal to address my rmd\required minimum distribution for 2023 rmd requirement for 2023

I swiched banks in 2023 because my then bank left the city. The manager of the bmo in sheboygan falls that I opened our accounts with is no longer with the bank — since november I requestd my rmd be addrssed on december 1st 2023 — nothing has happened. Your manager wants me to come in. (right now, I am not feeling well. I have given the information for the withdrawal to her many times also faxed the amount to her and another bmo. I spent about 3 hours on the phone this morning trying to address issue and keep getting transferred to differnt people my — name is kathleen m. Schmitz — my address is 669 river oaks drive, sheboygan falls, wi. My phone number is [protected] — do I have to write to the irs to have this issue addressed. Please help me —

BMO Harris Bank Loan pay off

Exactly one month has passed when you (without approval) removed more money than was authorized on november 02,2023 for $127.43 which you assigned confirmation number # [protected]. Numerous phone calls and replied to e mails have all failed to correct the problem you created by removing excess funds. I have today filed a formal complaint with federal reserve about it, account # [protected]. You failed to reply to an e mail you sent me on november 02 regarding this with drawal yet when I replied that it was incorrect you ignored me. Additional calls on november 15, 26, and 27 th have also no results only promisses. Today 12/02/2023 (one month later still no electronic transfer back into my account

BMO Harris Bank Unable to do with my money what I want!!!

I have been unable to use my money the way I see fit. If I want to purchase crypto for example; I should be able to do so. I can't even load money onto my paypal account. I hate this bank. I have tried numerous venues for loading money onto various online services. Why can I not use my money the way I want to?

BMO Harris Bank Dispute claim

My name is Yolanda Jones, my address is 2flagstone Irvine CA. I like file a claim, because ever since bmo tuck over bank of the west some one has been Charing my account. From out of state, I have disput these charges, but they did not remove. Them making my bank account overdrawn. I also have t the disputed ID number and charges D2023-768520 in the amount of 89.95 also D2023-768522in the amount of 75.98also D -[protected] in the amount of 19.07 also here is the claim number C -[protected] thank you I am trying to up load the information but if it dose not go through I have written. BMO Harris Bank Canceled credit card

My husband passed away 1 yr from August. Called and canceled his credit card. Told me it was canceled. I received an over due notice charging me late fees. Called about it, I was told his card was never cancelled and I also had a card on his account. Never knew or used it. I have my own card. Was told to call probate, which I did, provided death certificate was cancelled. Was given a number to call to cancel my card which I did, the gentleman waived the fees and cancelled my card. Since then I have more late fee charges. Called again to find out the gentleman put in the incorrect amount which kicked it out of the system. Though everything was ok and this lady said she sent all the info over to where they decide to cancel the amounts. NEVER HEARD A THING, now it is up to $117.00. Who do I REALLY need to speak to to have this removed? This is ruining my excellent credit score and my name! I am beyond upset about this and want this TAKEN CARE OF IMMEDIATELY!

Desired outcome: Please have this taken care of immediately. Proof that this has been taken of. If this is not fully taken care of by end of week 10/27/2023 you will be hearing from my Lawyer. Thank you, Sharon L Buxton

BMO Harris Bank Attempting to get a loan

I've been trying to finish up on a loan and they keep telling me to send paper work ( pay off on other loan) and I've sent this several times now . They never respond to me except emails. this has taken almost 2 months and I am still at the start of this. I don't think this should cost me money now ? It's like there is no one in this bank to talk with

BMO Harris Bank Stop Payment

I placed a stop payment on July 29, 2023 @ 8:37am with Op. No. 016895 (David L.) on a check in the amount of $2,472.40. The reason for the stop payment was check issued to wrong payee. I received confirmation that the stop payment was accept via correspondence received in the U.S. Mail. I was told the $2,472.40 would be credited back to my account within 3 days. As of 9/11/23, the $2,472.40 has not been credited back to my account. Additionally, the stop payment fee of $35.00 was supposed to be waived and credited back to my account. I spent nearly 3 hours on the phone when the call was disconnected by the Bank and the matter is still not resolved. I am formerly a Bank of the West customer. The merger has been handled extremely poorly.

Desired outcome: The $2,472.40 credited back to my account as well as the $35.00 Stop Payment Fee.

BMO Harris Bank online banking

After the takeover of Bank of The West, I am unable to access my accounts online. I have waited 30 minutes on the phone, then another 11 minutes speaking to a representative who referred me to the branch. Then, at the branch, I waited another 25 minutes in line to speak to the teller. She referred me to the branch manager who was unable to get a TEXT message to send to my phone. Changed my email address and was able to get an email and access online banking on that day. Now, again, I am unable to access online banking - TEXT messages will NOT go to my phone but will go to my husband's phone. The email tab is inactive. Wasted more time today trying to get TECHNICAL SUPPORT via phone call. THEY REFERRED ME TO THE BRANCH! This is a technical issue, why can't TECHNICAL SUPPORT fix it. THE BRANCE DOESN'T OPEN FOR MORE THAN AN HOUR! A CREDIT TO MY ACCOUNTS MUST BE APPLIED FOR THE TIME AND INCONVIENCE due to this technical issue.

Desired outcome: FIX THE APP so that I can access my online accounts when needed. Fix text issues to my phone number and email address. ISSUE CREDITS to both checking accounts for MY TIME AND INCONVIENCE due to this BMO HARRIS technical issue.

BMO Harris Bank Customer Service

Waited an hour to talk to someone. I finally get someone on the line and they blind transfer me to Deluxe (checks). Deluxe won't accept any of the choices that I make on the keypad or via voice. So, I try to drop the Deluxe call and go back to the original BMO call that was on hold and they disconnect the call. When I call back it tells me I have to wait another hour. If all their call center reps just want to get rid of callers why even [protected]@#king have a call center. If the damn letter I got from them didn't tell me to call the number and gave me the option to go to the bank directly I would, but it doesn't. So I'm screwed talking to these idiots. I hate BMO bank.

Desired outcome: For me to not have to wait forever just to be hanged up on. Just once would be nice. Oh, and to resolve my issue on the first call.

BMO Harris Bank Mobile check deposit

I opened up a checking account with BMO Harris bank the end of July 2023. My initial deposit was through the mobile check deposit for $5,000. That was done on 8/4/2023. It showed that the check cleared but funds were not available. That Saturday on 8/5/2023 I tried to log in with my mobile app and it said my login was invalid. I called and the representative said I would have to call on Monday and speak with the fraud department. So that’s what I did on Monday 8/7/2023. They placed me on hold for over one hour and fifteen minutes. Then someone asked some questions (check amount and verify myself) and said he would get it handled. Three weeks later and over 17 hours of hold time this situation still is not resolved. I get the run around everytime I call. I get lied to about who is handling it and lied to about the hours they work. I was even told the lady only works 9pm-5am…?

Desired outcome: My account unfrozen so I can get my money and close it!

BMO Harris Bank Online banking

Since the last 4 days I can not access online banking. I am with BMO for the last 10 years and so far I haven't had any problems. Lately something has changed with BMO and I am locked out / blocked from accessing my account. When I use my credentials on the first page my password isn't recognized. After I call BMO to send me a reset password and even that password (reset password) isn't recognized. I called in at least 8 times and was put on hold transferred to other associate, and each time we go from start, I'm asked about my details / credentials from the account #, to verbal passcode, name/surname, spelling it, email info etc... but the outcome is the same. No access to my account. I explained everyone it must be some IT problem or some updates being done on their end "prohibiting" me to log it. Every BMO Customer support representative is telling me something new and making up possible reasons why I might have a problem. Nothing what they did so far helped me regain the access. I think it is a systemic issue. I am also noticing the page asks me about my TAX ID and or social security ID as type my password 3 times. I don't have any of those two since I am foreign national. Until recently there were no troubles logging in not having a TAX/Social ID.

This is really becoming one excruciating experience and no one really knows what is going on. They don't seem to have a log or database where they could see what issues I was having to go from there. When I call in everything goes from start and it ends somewhere at second level of support. Terrible! I would appreciate if you can check in what is going on. Thank you, M.P.

BMO Harris Bank Checking account

My mom had a BMO account before she fell ill on [protected]. She only visited her local bank 2x. When she was in the hospital, my sister grew suspicious about my mom's account being compromised. She raised the alarm calling BMO about her concern 4-3 2023. After my sis called the person made 20 more unauthorized withdrawals.BMO refused to freeze the account, they said my mom had to request it although she was incapacitated. Bmo finally froze the account on 4-17. My mom died on 4-24. We had to wait 30 days to find out what damage was done. The total stolen out my mom account totalled 50k.we were left with only $8200.. i did a sworn affidavit and they refused to give me details about the account. They gave me a cashier's check and showed me the door. I filed a police report and they still refuse to accept any responsibility for what happened. I've been at the DA office, police station, courthouse for probate and BMO refuse to budge. I just want them to accept some responsibility where it lies. They said my mom should of protected her account although she suffered from a brain disease and was sick. Im going through hardship behind this. I need someone to help me, i can't afford a attorney. I don't know what else to do. Please help me.

Desired outcome: I want BMO to replace the money when we tried to get the account shutdown at least.

BMO Harris Bank Customer service experience

I called into the Customer service to ask them about the location in the online banking where I can find the tax statement. First customer service does not understand 1099 form. She was asking me if this is a direct deposit form. Then I explained what is 1099. She puts me on hold for 2 mins and comes back saying go to your account and you will find the int. She was referring to the Interest transaction. I said I do not want to get the transaction. Then she guides me to the monthly statement section and says you will find the statement there. When I explained I do not see 1099-INT she says let me check with others. Then 5 mins later comes back and says I need to verify you to get into your account. I said you do not have to get into my account to tell me where I can find 1099 in your mobile banking. Now she has put a hold on my account that it has to be verified by the local branch. Is this customer service?

BMO Harris Bank Digital Banking

Your IT people have changed the login to digital banking and it still does not work with one of the most commo0n browsers in use, with a PC, Microsoft Edge.

Another shortfall that has always been associated with your software is: The tab key does not work as one would normally expect. I should be able to enter my user name and then hit tab to jump to the password when I log in.

Desired outcome: Fix it, that tab key shortcoming. It is really irritating. Normally that is the way login programs are configured.

BMO Harris Bank Service

I was trying to link my checking account to QuickBooks and it requires a customer ID that I didn't have, so I called BMO Harris at 10 am. the first person hung up on me after 20 minutes of questions. I called back the 2nd hung up after 30 minutes of questions. I called back the 3rd had me on for 30 minutes. kept putting me on hold. saying she was emailing others to get this info, then kept asking questions without ever providing me with the answer. I asked to talk to a supervisor and that took another 20 minutes just to tell me they can't find one and will ask a manager to call me back with no time of when that will happen. I still was not give my customer ID or an explanation as to why I could not get it. This should not take over 2 hours. The person Linda at BMO was not well trained and keep putting me on hold as she said my requests had to be emailed and then wait for a response. This is so unprofessional and a waste of time. I am upset that the Bank I have been with for over 40 years would be like this. Now I am waiting for a manager to call some day. I am not hold my breath.

Desired outcome: I want to know my Customer ID and why I was put through this and my Temp Banking number that is asked for every time I call BMO!

BMO Harris Bank Individual retirement account

IRA’s should have a digital record like any other accounts right ? We have not been provided with any records to an IRA account of ours and we were told that the money was spent !

We asked for records and have been given nothing ! These people are not very helpful with our two hundred thousand dollar IRA and it’s not surprising to learn of an anomaly within their software. I want the records of my account !

BMO Harris Bank BMO credit card - charged 4% bank transfer fees when I did not use the money

BMO credit card charged me $96- which was 4% of $2,400 bank transfer fees, when partial amount $1,233.19 returned back to BMO from my other fidelity credit card back in 12/27/22. I called BMO immediately but took BMO more than 3 weeks to find the money.

I requested to adjust the bank transfer charges from original amount of $2,400 subtracted $1,233.19 (money returned back to BMO), which was $49,32 bank charges should be REFUNDED to me.

On 2/4/23 Nukita called me and agreed to refund; but later their latter to BBB indicated that they are not going to keep the promise and refused to refund $49.32 back to me.

BMO needs to practice their business ethically to horner the refund of $49.32 which I never used the full balance transfer of $2,400

I demand to investigate BMO credit card's business practices - they are not etherical, they don't trace the refunds for 3 weeks, also illegally insisted charged the customer the 4% "balance transfer fees" for the portion's money has returned back to BMO 3 WEEKS AGO for my case.

I demand $49.32 fee charges to be refunded to my BMO credit card immediately as originally requested.
