On november 20th, I should have received a package sent to me from the states. Apparently on the first attempt the driver did not find my name in my buildings directory so the 1 st attempt was unsuccessful. Since i've had the tracking number from the get go I checked online to see the status of my package and I realize on the 21st of november that the driver needed further information in order to deliver my package. I called ups at their [protected] number and I spoke to a customer service rep. (Csr) and I gave him all the info needed to make the next delivery a successful one. I provided them with my buzzer number and how my name appeared on the directory to ensure that the driver would be able to find me. On november 26th - 6 days later - the driver attempted to deliver the package a second time, but I guess the csr that I spoke to did not relay my message to the dc for the driver b/c again on my tracking file it was noted that on november 27th, the driver again could not find my name on the building directory. Again I called the 1800 number and provided a 2nd csr with all of my information. The csr assured me that the package would be out for delivery the next day. On the 27th of november I waited around all day for the driver to come to my building and he never came. I again went to look at my tracking sheet to find that the driver said that the address provided on the package was not the right one and now he could not find my building. So for the 3rd time I called ups's 1 800 and told the csr that the driver had originally been at the right building therefore he had the right delivery address so why did he now state that the address was wrong. The csr said there must have been a mistake b/c after confirming the delivery address everything matched the info I gave him with what was on the package. The csr apologized and said that the package would be delivered the next day. On the 28th of november the package still did not arrive and so I decided to give it another day before calling ups again so after not receiving it on the 29th of november I called now a 4th time ups to find out what was going on. The csr read the notes on the tracking of the package and mentioned that he was unsure as to why the package had not been delivered yet and that he apologized for the inconvenience and the package would be delivered the next day. So november 30th came and went and no package so I called ups's 1 800 # and demanded my package to the csr who took my call. The csr could not believe (Again) the history on my package and told me that my package showed as being at the dc and so I could pick it up there if I wanted to just so that I would finally get it. I told the csr that I was going to drive to the dc to do just that, even though the dc is out of the way for me but at this point I figured if I did not go to get it I may never get the package. The csr asked for my contact # to have the dc call me regarding my package so I gave my cell phone number. I then drove to the dc at 2:45pm on 2900 steeles avenue, toronto to find a line up of more than 20 ppl either picking up or delivering a package. At the dc there was only 1 person trying to help everyone. Many customer started to get frustrated due to the long wait and 3 customers walked out upset and 1 lady spoke up and demanded more employees to come and help at the desk. Finally an older lady came out from the back and got 2 more employees to help at the front. I finally got to the gentlemen working at the desk after a 30 min wait and it took him 20 mins to find my package. When he broughted to me he asked me to pay $48.00 in brokerage fees. I asked him why that much when that was half of the cost of the item being sent to me. He said that was the fee charged by them. I was appalled and I said I am not paying that much I need to speak with someone. The gentleman told me to call their 1 800 # and speak to a customer service rep. I did just that and the rep went over my tracking info with me, he could not believe how long it was taking for me to get my package. He apologized profusely and told me that he would take off part of the brokerage fees and I would just have to pay $13.81. He told me that my package would be delivered to me by monday dec. 3rd and not to worry b/c he was sending the dc a note to contact me to ensure delivery. On monday dec. 3rd I was at home all day waiting for my package to arrive and the ups driver never showed up, I received no calls from ups and I was as frustrated as anyone could get.

I went to read the notes on my package and found that the man working the desk at the dc on steeles avenue had put into my file that I had refused the shipment and that it would be going back to the sender?! I was livid when I read this on my file and called monday early evening ups, this meant that my package was not intended to be delivered as I was told. I snapped on the csr that took my call and I demanded to speak to a manager. I had to pull hairs to get to speak to someone other than a csr. I finally got put through to a female manager who identified herself and she went over all the notes and expressed her disbelief on what had happened with my package. Again she apologized and I told her I had heard enough apologies that I did not care for anymore b/c none had gotten me my package. She said that tuesday she would have someone from the dc call me and that the package would be delivered by tuesday. So tuesday dec. 5th came and at 9:15 am I received a call from the dc. A female spoke to me to let me know that the package was on its way and it could be delivered between 9am - 8pm. I actually waited all day at home - if you can believe that! And guess what? No package came.in fact I have video surveillance of the main entrance of my building and the outside of it and I was glued to the tv to see if infact this driver ever came and he never showed up. Yet on my tracking file it stated that he had come at 6:17pm but no one was home. My husband and I were both at home and now my husband was livid b/c that was a lie. I called ups and asked to speak to the manager whose last name I never got. To get to speak to her again was nearly impossible b/c the customer service reps were not comfortable getting her on the phone so I could talk to her again. Finally after ups hung up on me due to a rep's mistake with transferring the call the manager called me back on my cell phone, which was on file. The manage apologized yet again and said that she did not understand what was happening and to allow her to place a formal complaint on the this issue. I told her to go ahead and she said she would have the dc call me on wednesday and that she would send a note to have them deliver my package at a time that worked for me b/c I could not spend yet another day waiting around for ups to show up. I also mentioned to this manager that I had video surveillance showing that the driver was never here and that I was willing to take action with that against ups for lying and not providing a service that was paid for. She said it would not be necessary and that the dc would call me wednesday and the delivery would take place. Well... Today is wednesday and I am without a package to this day. The dc did call me twice in the morning and they did not do anything to get me my package. I have no idea what kind of show ups is running there but they are out to lunch and I can swear to all that I will never use them again for anything as long as I live and I will try to get this story known b/c this is incredibly unprofessional, outrageous and not acceptable.

I have to whole heartedly agree with you. I will NEVER use UPS again in my life time. I had a large propane heater delivered to my residence. I opened the package and the heater had several dents from shipping. After spending a total of 3 hours on the phone and having UPS do an inspection, they decided they weren't going to make good. They never notified me of their decision. My emails went unanswered. What a lousy organization! The shipper had me pay full insurance on the product as well. All my shipping now goes Fedex and Greyhound.

This is the third time I have stayed home to accept a package from UPS and it the third time that the delivery was missed. On all three occasions I stayed home to insure the package was picked up. The door bell never rang yet they attempted delivery. In all three cases I have had to got to the service center to pickup the package. This was the last time I use UPS. I don't pay UPS for me to go pickup the package. They are absoutly the worst when it comes to residential deliveries. I never have this problem with fedex or DHL. In fact i was expecting a package from Fedex and they managed to deliver that package.

UPS Sucks!

I have been dealing with UPS for almost a month now, over a textbook they delivered to the wrong address. My shipper will not return any of my messages, and my classes start tonight. I bought the book on e-bay, I would think my reciept should be efficent in giving me the reimburment not the shipper.

I am a college student with no extra money to buy another book, without the reimbursment. This is ridiculous, and because of UPS' mistake, I am going to have to wait and hope the shipper gives me a refund.

Thanks UPS, I hope your reputation suffers because of this. They are a horrid company, and they do not care about their customers.

I ordered a shipment of products on September 9th 2008 and had to pay the shipping costs. I got the tracking notice from UPS and the merchant on September 10th so i could track my stuff that I paid for. I never got it. I am out $90 for the stuff and the shipping costs. I tried calling UPS and got a voice mail menu - none of the "options" to choose from fit my situation as to paying for goods that I never received but that are recorded as delivered according to the UPS online tracking. I don't know who to turn to to file a formal complaint, but I will NEVER do business with any merchant that uses UPS as a shipper, EVER again! And I will NEVER use UPS services to ship anything myself EVER!

I hate UPS! This is the 6th time I've had problems with drivers not delivering my items. Most companies should go through DHL, USPS or FedEx instead of UPS. In my case sometimes I have no other choice but to have them deliver because the company only uses UPS. Go Firgure! I live an apartment building on the 2nd floor and its hard to know if they are at my door and my building is locked as far as entry goes. I always leave a note on the main door asking the driver to knock hard and as always they ignore the note and leave that damn missed notice crap on the door instead. Management sucks as though they can give a rats ### in fixing the problems. Some are totally ignorant and don't know how to speak to customers. I'm pissed because I paid for s&h and I shouldn't have to go pick up my package when I paid for it to be delivered. Plain and Simple... I refuse too! I've done that before and waited a whole hour with other angry customers until they could pull my package a package that should have been delivered to my house off of a truck. While watching the ignorant workers go off on other customers. Again I refuse to do that when I paid for s&h. Those ### get paid to deliver and that's what they should do. I caught one driver writing his little could not deliver notice and asked him why didn't he knock on the door. His response was nothing just please sign. Who in the hell does that? I truly hope I get my package tomorrow and that they don't send the same driver. I can see myself getting into a world of trouble kicking his ###. As he didn't even leave a notice today and I saw him drive off without knocking on my door. The customer service rep lied and said that wasn't my driver. After waiting 2 hours I tracked my order online again and saw that it was him. By the time I talked to 3 supervisor the ### had left for the day and no other driver could deliver. I was very pissed as today was my day off and I had to keep running to the window every five minutes only to not receive a package and having to result to nasty words over the phone and putting in complaints that I know will go nowhere. This time I refuse to let it happen again. I will not buy anything for companies that don't use FedEx USPS or DHL in the future. I will also send a complaint to BBB about my many problems and even arguments I've had w/ drivers that were rude and failed to acknowledge their fault in not doing their job. If anyone reads this please don't use UPS. This company needs to go out of business asap. They suck!

I am going through this right now and just like how you have obtained and tracked online I was able to see that the driver claimed it as undeliverable because it has a company name but its my company sending me a gift. I've had the same issue with the Purolator where if the sender is a gift card company or a electronics company the drivers get all greedy and try their best to claim that the shipment is undeliverable.

I even stayed home on friday to receive this shipment but they claim that the addressed person was not there.

If you have no choice and something is coming through UPS have them deliver to one of their pickup location and pick it up. Saves you the waiting time on the phone and worrying for no reason.

I ordered a new stroller frame for my son and the shipping company of the manufacturer's choice is UPS. They told me it would be about 5 - 10 business days. I waited 15 before following up only to be told that UPS sent back the package because my buzzer# was not on it. NO DELIVERY ATTEMPT NOTICE---NOTHING. And yes, they confirmed that my buzz# was on the shipping info just like I gave them. So they sent it back out and in 3 days I got a delivery attempt. I called and made arrangements for them to deliver it on the Friday so I could take the day off from work to wait for it. The CSR explained that a second attempt would automatically be made next day. So said, so done. I called again anyways just to make sure my arrangements were still in place. Friday came and I waited and waited. I decided out of curiousity to go online and track the package, only to find it said the driver made a 3rd attempt! What? When? The date and time shown I was home watching TV. No one buzzed me or knocked on my door! I called to see if this was right and it was. There was no delivery attempt notice even. They told me that my 40lb package was on hold at the depot... about 57 miles away from where I live and I don't drive! AND they're going to tell me that al l the drivers have gone out for the day already... what if I didn't check? Honestly, this is the worst service ever! I still don't know how or when I'm going to get my package but you'll here about it!

I will NEVER EVER associate myself with UPS. Over my dead body. Not only that, I'll tell all my friends to stay away from them. We've had a terrible and unprofessional service with their center at 2900 Steeles. The comment on the very top is a carbon copy of our experience with UPS.

Not only did they not deliver, they repeatedly lied through their teeth claiming that there was no body at home while we were home expecting their delivery from 8 AM to 8 PM. Even worse, for almost a week they kept promising it will be delivered the next day. Broken promise after broken promise. As far as we're concerned UPS is removed from our delivery vocabulory. PERIOD. Once burt, twice shy.

I ordered online from Amazon and UPS was suppose to have my package here yesterday and when I checked online it showed delivery attempt but it was not, not even a sticky notice so I called UPS and they said there was an attempt and I said no way because I sat home ALL day. The B.S. customers all the time to cover their butt. Now I have to wait all day today for package to be delivered, like I have nothing better to do than sit home between 8 am and 8 pm. I really DO NOT like UPS BAD SERVICE.

I absolutely agree with you! UPS's CS and delivery methods are horrible ! I had a package that was supposed to be delivered on 12/23/16. It was not delivered, the driver indicated it was undeliverable because "there was no answer". The recipient was indeed home during delivery and the driver never left a notice. It was rescheduled for delivery on 12/2716 and once again it was not delivered. The package is now rescheduled once again for delivery on 12/28/16! I never requested a signature for this package. I contacted UPS customer service and spoke with a representative (in the Philippines very frustrating) numerous times on 12/27/16 and was told it was in the truck for delivery and it would absolutely be delivered, lies! The CS representatives are just reading from que cards, they look in the computer and give you the same exact information that your able to find on their website. There is no personal contact or caring, it's like talking to a robot that you cannot understand. I contacted QVC where I ordered the item and they had to send out another package! I told them I absolutely did not want it to be sent via UPS, thankfully they cared about my frustrations and are sending it next day air with Fed Ex. I will NEVER use UPS again...if the company I'm buying from uses them I won't do business with them.

I ordered a SunSetter awning which they chose to ship to me by ups freight.. Received a call from ups freight stating that they could not deliver to
my address because their drivers could not come into our sub-division because they are not permitted to back up their truck in a residential area.
Suggested they transfer to ups which comes in this sub-division frequently and was told they could not because ups is a different company than
ups freight. Guess they can't even talk to each other or do business with each other either. After discussing ways they could effect delivery, I was
advised they would call SunSetter to ask them what to do or would return my awning to the shipper. After receiving no further word from ups or
SunSetter, I later called SunSetter and asked for assistance in getting delivery. They had received no communication from ups freight and said
they would arrange delivery by having a local trucking company pick up the awning from ups.
UPS freight is the most pathetic trucking company I have ever had the misfortune to deal with and I would advise businesses and individuals
to never use ups freight to ship anything.

My daughter Lynn Sullivan shipped my suitcase from Norwalk Connecticut on the 10th of June. I flew from New York JFK on the 9th . American Airlines would not take my case because they said it was too late. My daughter then took the case home and mailed it on the 10th from Staples in Norwalk. I was supposed to receive my case on the 16th in Rio Rancho, New Mexico. In my case were my medications including cancer medication, pain medication, hypertension medication, antidepressant. My pharmacy will not reissue the pain medication, one hypertension medication and depression medication because it is too early to refill. My dirty laundry toiletries, three very expensive bars of soap for family, my toiletries included Georgia newly purchased . My two sets of pajamas were missing including my Betty Boop (favorite) . I have reviewed the shipping information my daughter provided and no where is there a tracking number- My case was tracked by UPS to New Jersey and there the ball drops. I would hate to think that a dishonest UPS employee was more interested in my case contents then shipping it. I also had a purple suit that I wore to my Granddaughters graduation from Green Farms Academy on the 8th. I am distraught because my information is on my medication bottles and besides who wants to go without their most important medications. I think the investigation currently underway is worthless .
