This seems to be a typical free trial scam business that sold me a product as a free trial for which I only authorized to pay a shipping cost of $4.95, or what it seemed to me at the time of purchase. However, the full conditions of the offer, that were outlined in the Terms and Conditions link that was hidden at the very bottom of the page in a small print, were such that I as a customer got automatically enrolled into a subscription program once I pushed the payment button. Such subscription came with a trial period that I had to cancel within 14 days, or I would get charged a full price of the product which I was going to receive and pay for every month until I cancel the subscription. The cost is, of course, ridiculously overpriced. I got an email order confirmation immediately via an email that stated a price of $4.95 and nothing else. There was, however, an additional small charge of $1.63 on my credit card for which I never was provided any receipt. It took about the same time to receive the product as the trial period itself, 12 days shipment out of 14 days trial that began when the order was placed, on Nov 16, 2015. I only got alerted when I noticed the additional $1.63 charge on my credit card at which point I contacted the company. That conversation via email happened on the last day of the "trial", Nov 29 . The next day I was charged the full amount of the product, $99.95, which the company agreed to refund in full given I ship the product back at my expense and taken in consideration that I was lucky enough to question the company just a few hours before the trial expired, which was considered as the cancellation of the subscription. The Terms and Conditions of the deal have NOT been clearly indicated on the order web page, nor clearly communicated to me by any other means; nor was I engaged in any affirmative conduct acknowledging the Terms and Conditions. The Terms and Conditions link was not placed near the final Submit button, neither immediately above nor below of the button, nor in any clear view on the web page. As such, I consider the whole ordeal as the intentional deception and scam. The products are advertised via many many different web sites such as http://www.supplementq.com/. The company's website itself does not offer any products. It just states the company contact info and the Terms and conditions: http://trubelleza.com/ The transaction info on the back statement comes as a UK company: Country Code: GB - United Kingdom Merchant : OUTBOUND TELEMARKETING MERCHANTS Merchant Information: 18885891342CLEANSKIN LONDON 000 WC2N4JF Transaction Date: 11/16/2015

I have just fallen victim to this scam as well. They shipped my pruduct 5 days after I was charged for the initial 'free' trial and then charged me the full amount before I even received their product. I have been after them for a week now since they didn't even provide return instructions. I do think this is an unethical business practise and they should be held accountable by some sort of consumer awareness board if not a legal court.

A total scam can say anymore than the rest of you have. I called my credit card company they could not dispute transaction because of clauses they make sure you do not see. I stated I would pay as a learning experience, but not to let them charge my card again. She told me I had to contact the company can cancel. She gave me the phone number [protected] and they answered and I got my cancellation numbers.

I have also been scammed by this company. Apparently the fine print states that I have joined the monthly club! I had to contact my credit card company to hopefully stop these payments to them. I have definitely learned if something seems to good to be true if most likely is. So far they have offered me a refund of $40. I'm trying to talk to their upper management but apparently they have no interest in talking to me. They say they have cancelled my subscription but how can I be sure. This place is very deceitful and I plan on making a big stink on social media about them

SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM - I ordered the TRIAL only and have since been charged $541.31 for products I did not order or want and had to cancel my credit card, even after advising them that I did not authorize any charges they kept charging my credit card. They are fraud, scammers and need to be stopped from taking from honest hard working individuals... Help me stop them! I also hope that someone with authority does something.. this needs to stop...

I tried a sample of an eye cream from this brand and it required my credit card. I did not authorize them to charge me later for $139.39. I only paid the $5 for the free trial. I want my money back.
I live in Canada, I believe the sample came from the U.S, but this new charge came from London?

Same thing happened to me. And I was actually looking to see if I was enrolling in a monthly subscription but could not see it anywhere on the order page. Should have known better. Deceitful company only meant to rio people off. Nor would they allow me to return the unopened product as my 15 days were up when I noticed the new charges on my credit card. It's a scam meant to rip people off! Infuriating and extremely overpriced!

On May 8th I saw this ad on Facebook endorsed by Celine Dion, so I ordered it thinking it was only going to cost me $4.95 for shipping for a free trial. After putting in my credit card information, I immediately got a call from these people & she had all my info that I gave them but she asked me for the 3 numbers on the back of my credit card & I said I would not give them to her...she wanted to know why & I said I don't trust you as I had immediately become suspicious...she asked me twice & I said no...just cancel this whole thing. That didn't happen...2 days later on May 10th I called my credit card company & she told me to cancel right away...she gave me this # [protected]. I called & got a voice mail & I said to Cancel. I had a Canadian # as well that was on an invoice they emailed me & when I called that #...it said your order has been cancelled. My card has been charged $38.71 in US funds which is now $51.49 Cad...so if I get off with this much I am lucky! This company is nothing but a scam...I feel I am smarter than this but got sucked in!

Like all of the above, I too decided to try their sample only to learn later it is a complete scam. It looks like I will simply have to chalk it up to experience and NOT make the same mistake again (i.e. ordering over the internet). Criminal charges should be levied against this firm and force them to refund payments made to anyone that got taken by their cheating methods. C'est la vie!

I whole heartedly agree! I have just realized what I am caught up in. They have made over $500 Canadian in charges on my credit card in one month. I didn't realize the charges were there, until the "subscription" showed up before my statement. I am now in the process of trying to fight this subscription and I would rather pay the shipping expenses to Canada Post then give them another dime!

I wish I had googled these reviews before ordering both trial products. I was billed the correct amount initially and then discovered 2 more charges today totaling $323.00! I called the Canadian contact number for Tru Belleza immediately and a lady answered the phone explaining the fine print in their terms of agreement. I was so ticked off that I told her they should all be arrested for scamming the general public & that they were completely pathetic. When I demanded a full refund & after an hour on the phone, she said they would agree to pay me back only $115.00. Who knows if I'll ever see it though . I also called my bank & they said that their terms have their a** covered so well, that I'll have to pay the balance because I agreed to their terms. Unfortunately, my bank said it happens to people every day and that I was lucky to be offered a $115.00 refund. Either way, it totally sucks & I'll never order anything online again.

This exact same thing happened to me. FREE trial website then all of a sudden my credit card is being charged for $260 CDN because I didn't cancel within 14 days of order and a lengthy shipping time. They luckily give you the option to cancel your account over the phone by following the prompts at which point you won't be charged for any MORE product. I clicked through the prompts to speak with a customer service rep who told me "didn't you read the terms and conditions?" and proceeded to tell me they're not giving me my money back. I wish I had read this discussion board before getting scammed by these thieves. What a terrible company!

Biggest scam. When I received my trial is was half dried up and couldn't even try it. Got busy with some surgeries and before I knew it I received 2 more orders. They wouldn't refund any of them. Not even the dried up trial. With they money exchange they were even more expensive. Cancelled. Will see if they try to send another shipment. Won't be surprised if the try to squeeze another one out of me. Told me once it leaves they are not responsible for it. Not even the dried up on. I should have know better. Please don't make the same mistake as I did.

I just went on their web-site to see for myself what all the advertising was about. I too filled out the free trial but something said not to send it. Within minutes I got my first call and while on the line with them someone else from their company was calling me on another line, within 10 mins. I had six different calls. I told them not to call me again this was harassment and if I wanted to by their product I would have already purchased it. Stay away from this company everything about them is shady.

I ordered this trial wrinkle face cream in dec 2015. I have rec'd many products which I did not order and returned each one and I have all the tracking numbers to prove it from Canada post. I have written and emailed several times. they keep charging my credit card and it has reached hundreds of dollars. I did not order any of these products. I have requested a refund which I have not received. the phone numbers that I have tried I cannot reach anyone any time of day or night. could you please help me with this complaint?

I ordered the trial, there is nothing on the website saying they will automatically charge your credit card for the price of the full product when you get this trial. You do not have 14 days in which to try it as you have already been charged the day after you receive it. This is a scam and should be pulled of the market. I am aiming to get my money back but have very little hope of it.

Very crooked company! No where does it say that you pay full price for a free trial after 14 days. Of course it takes 7-10 days to get the "free trial" and you have to cancel before the end of the 14 days. I did cancel to the company by e-mail and indicated I did not wish to receive any further products however I discovered that they wanted a separate e-mail for each item (of which I had two). I called the day it appeared on my account and received a $40 credit for a $149 dollar bill. They are scammers and crooks of the worst kind. Do not get taken in by their website. Just a bunch of lies. BEWARE! BEWARE!BEWARE!

I agree with all the above complaints about the very bad practices of Tru Belleza. I order two free trials (one of them was an offer when I odered the first one) and my products arrived three days before the 14 days because I am in Canada, so I did not have time to even try the product. Then I realized that my credit card was charged with about $260 and there are no words to describe how mad I was. I called my bank, and I tried to reach the company. After two days they sent me an email saying they were not accepting more refunds and they offered me a VIP price which I rejected inmediatly. I asked them to cancel my account but I am still frustrated with such a disrespectful attitude. If the products are really good...do not worry, the clients will order them again and again, but no, they are a real scam and I am very sad I was one of the victims.

It's incredible. How banks, VISA, among others, can endorse this scam. My wife was swindled last month and when i called VISA Desjardins, they immediately gave me a phone number [protected], so they know very well what going on with this bill) when there is no answer. They puts me on hold and then on voicemail. Therefore unable to cancel or contest. Fortunately, I finally found "http://trubelleza.com/terms/" where it is easy to cancel the hidden subscription. But by now I have to pay VISA = US $ 114.92 = $ 151.99 CDN. Obviously, I canceled my credit card.

I just wanted to share a llittle tip I learned about ordering trial product for the first time.
Use a credit card with an extremely low limit, as low as you can possibly get, alternatively purchase a visa or master card GIFT CARD and only put a little more than the amount you would to spend on it, that way you can not be scammed. Hope this helps:-)

I purchased the product on the 'free trial' on Feb 23rd, it arrived March 3rd- FROZEN, when I emailed them March 4th to advise them the product was frozen so I could not use it, they advised they would escalate my complaint to the Quality Control Department. I didn't hear anything back, so I emailed them again on April 20th to ask about the status.

This is the response they sent me:
We have put the account on hold to avoid any further charges. Please be reminded that if you choose not to keep the product after using it for 14 days, you have to return it back to us so you will not be charged for the full cost. If you like, we could offer you our customer discount coupon so you can keep the products at a heavily discounted rate of $39.95 USD for each of the products you ordered and we will send a replacement for the products you are having issues with. This is a one-time payment, no more monthly subscriptions. The product is yours to keep and is good for 30 days. Should you be interested, please reply with your phone number so we can get in touch with you to process the payment.
Thank you, Sam Santos, Product Manager

REALLY, I never got to use the product because it was frozen on arrival and they expect me to pay for more product, at a discounted price, I haven't even been able to use the 'trial' one I have.

As a lark I filled out the free trial order right up to the point where they ask for your credit card number and then I exited the page. Within 5 minutes I received a call from a customer services rep who wanted to help me with my order. I asked her if they auto subscribe you..she said only after 14 days. I asked her 14 days from when? She said today. I said how long does it take to receive it. She said only a few days...what a lie. I told her I would read her a few reviews about the company she works for. I read her one and she said she can't believe it as this is a great company. I told her she should go find another job and she should be ashamed of herself for willingly duping people who work hard for their money. She was trying to over talk me and I just continually said shame on you..and then she disconnected. Disgusting
