Very poor 🤒
We don't know much about how Tru Belleza handles customer complaints outside ComplaintsBoard, but what we see here, on our website, is quite disappointing. We think there might be reasons for the company's actions (like not knowing about the complaints), and we would be happy to see them among customer-focused businesses that easily solve customer problems. But until that happens, we ask reviewers to be cautious when dealing with Tru Belleza and using their services, and to carefully read the experiences of other customers on ComplaintsBoard, because who is warned is armed, you know! 💪

Tru Belleza Deep Wrinkle Moisturizer

This on of the most truly fraudulent companies I have ever had the displeasure to deal with. I ordered my Free trial which was to cost me a total of $10.97 for shipping and handling on 05 March 2016. My free moisturizer and serum arrived on 18 March 2016. I happened to be on holidays at the time it arrived. On 19 March 2016 I was charged an additional $133.63, on 21 March 2016 I was charged $121.14, on 18 April 2016 I was charged $131.71 and on 20 April 2016 I was charged an additional $123.45 for for a total of $528.84 on my credit card. Upon my return from holidays I found all the charges on my credit card. When complaining to the Trubelleza I was told the trial was not really free but a "free trial for 14 days" and I had signed up for a monthly subscription. Upon review of the web site I can not find any indication it was a monthly subscription and no indication I would be charged for the free trial product. I have not received any additional product. It should be noted that I received my product 13 days after the initial order so only ad a 1 day "trial period". There was nothing in the printed material received with the product to indicate I would be charged.

Tru Belleza Unauthorized charges

RE: My email address — [protected]@gmail.com

Refer to my pervious order in 1st Mar. 2016, I ask for the sample to sent to my Canadian office then I pay for the shipping cost USD 2.95 and 4.95. After I received both samples I think nothing happen. But I found you continue to charge me monthly for March and April.

Charged —

17th March, 2016 — USD 89.95 — Charged under the name of the company was Gorgeouskin London
14th April, 2016 — USD 112.94 — Charged under Timelessbeautynow.com

Both charges in different companies name and different locations.

I did not ask for any shipment or samples that other than above samples that I requested on 1st March. So I do not understand why you charged my credit card in March and April.

Please refund both charges to my credit card, total is USD 202.89 because both 89.95 and 112.94 I did not authorize your companies to change my credit card. My credit card number is — Master Card xxxx- xxxx -xxxx 9281

Please let me know if you have any questions. please reply to me both email addresses above.

Finally I already cancelled my info from your website. Hope you remove my info from your customer list right away. See attachment. Thanks.

Our trial offer is a way to get the full 30 day supply of Instalift Rapid Wrinkle Control where you pay only $4.95 upfront and enroll in our monthly subscription. After the trial expires (14 days), you are charged $99.95 for that initial bottle. Every 30 days thereafter, you will be charged $99.95 and shipped another bottle. A trial is not a free sample. The price of $99.95 that you pay is for the full 30 day supply bottle that was shipped out. The Anti-Wrinkle Moisturizer trial is only $4.95 upfront and just like the Instalift Rapid Wrinkle Control trial. You will be enrolled in our monthly subscription. After the trial expires (14 days), you are charged $89.95 for that initial bottle. Every 30 days thereafter, you will be charged $89.95 and shipped another bottle. A trial is not a free sample. The price of $89.95 that you pay is for the full 30 day supply bottle that was shipped out. When you order a trial, you have to check that you agree to our terms and conditions and enroll in our monthly shipment program. There will be a $1.63 fulfillment packing fee per trial order. The terms and agreement on the website was already provided when you placed the order as it is served for a legal binding document
Your subscription was cancelled as per requested.
Rest assured that no more future charges will be taken out & no more products will be sent out. For clarification that the first set of bottles that you received that is the actual product that we sell on our valued customer.

Tru Belleza Clear Skin

Unethical credit card charges. Unscrupulous scam. Clicked on Dr. Oz wrinkle cream. took me to Tru Belleza where I was offered a free trial. I would be charged shipping. $4.95. This was on the 4th of April. After a 14 day trial I could enroll in product shipments if I liked the results. On the very same day my card was charged the $4.95 and $99.95. I really hate this. I didn't receive my free sample for 8 days and found out later when I tracked the company who took my money unauthorized it was a company in UK. I left a message with my #. I have heard nothing.

I too am a senior who would never pay $100 for face cream. My medication is 3 X that. I sure hope someone can help me and the others who have been so badly deceived by these crooks.

Tru Belleza Unauthrorized charges

As all of the other complainants have described charged day trial was ordered. Ingredients were not listed on Website and I have an extreme allergy to glycerin (on a drug that costs $5000/mo to treat Xolair) - of course product arrived and glycerin was listed on product - was not opened or used made numerous ++++ attempts by voice/email to obtain RMA# to which I received no reply. Product was sent back to 120 Smith Hines Rd Greenville SC 29607 trackable posting but they still managed to charge my credit cardx2 - Visa is taking them on because their phone goes immediately to voice mail both day & night (and yes, I left numerous messages!)
I have cancelled my credit card to avoid any further attempts to charge as directed by Visa. Visa rep advised method company is taking in millions on the back of others!
Do NOT ORDER THIS PRODUCT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES!
No reputable company has to hide the agreement! Or their ingredients! Also known as Pearl Skin and Pure Skin.

Tru Belleza Billing without authorization

When I ordered the samples, it was not made clear to me that I must cancel further products. I was told to contact them and let them know if I was pleased with the product within 14 days. I did not know if the 14 days started from shipping date or when I received the product. I did not authorize further debits to my credit card and am furious that this company has lowered themselves to this level of doing business. I will be taking further action via social networking. I am canceling all orders and further business with this company.

Tru Belleza Tru-Belleza Anti-Wrinkle Cream and Tru Belleza Advanced Eye Serum

DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT! On March 4th, 2016, I purchased two beauty products on trial as advertised on internet: 1)Tru-Belleza Anti-Wrinkle Cream (cancellation number 212288), and 2)Tru Belleza Advanced Eye Serum (cancellation number 216889). Package has arrived in Canada 10 days after the order. I have a allergy reaction after applying the eye serum. I call the customer service but as usual their mail box was full. There are no statements about 14 days only free trial on the website. As I cannot cancel the order within 14 days and been charged 189.90 USD. I send an email to service in order to get address to return the unused product. They explain to me that there is no way to get my money back. The products quality is so pure. II regret that have to deal with this ###. Please stop this and do not let other people to get to this trap.

Tru Belleza Credit card charges

I ordered in Feb 12 for the trial . No where to see the 14 days notice is from the day order, I live in Canada and they place a range of 7-10 days shipping. The product was packaged at the company on the Feb 16, I received my product 12 days later on Feb 28 . I applied the first day, i was horrified to see redness and itchiness on my face. I called right away to cancel my order with reference 161088 same day Feb 28. The agent never mentioned that my product was already charge on Feb 26 when I did not even have the product, What kind of trial is that . When I contacted the agent she told me about non refundable policy and terms and conditions. I knew that my credit card was charge only a few weeks later. The agent told me that the only thing she can do is to cancel my enrolment, meaning the other agent to whom talked in the first place never cancel my order and I was still being charge.

Totally agree. This company is a complete scam. the charged credit card for 3 months even though we had called a number of times to cancel. got speech over and over about their refund policy.(they read a script) when asked to speak to higher up person they were on another call or they didn't take calls) They offered $50 refund per product(100.00). We were charged $590.00. What a rip off. Stay far far away from Trubelleza

Tru Belleza Anti wrinkle cream

Trial purchase that resulted in large amount of money charged to my VISA without my consent or use of product.

On March 2nd, I purchased two beauty products on trial as advertized on internet:

1)Tru Belleza Instalift Rapid Wrinkle control ($4.08) (cancellation number 205079), and
2) Anti-Wrinkle Moisturizing Cream ($6.88) (cancellation number 209296),

from Tru Belleza as indicated in the attached package slip (1169083, 169825).

Without my knowledge, the contract was concluded at the time of the purchase on line. I received the package box on March 11, 2016 by regular mail.

On March 16, 2016, an additional amount of $137.32 was charged to my VISA without written notice from Tru Belleza. On March 17, 2016, another amount of $121.10 was charged on my VISA without written notice from Tru Belleza.

On March 17, 2016, I called [protected] to cancel my subscription to Tru Belleza for these products and to enquire about getting reimbursed for these products which I did not use yet. I also enquired about returning the products but the telephone line was cut off.

Tru Belleza Scam

DO NOT BUY THESE PRODUCTS...COMPANY IS A SCAM. Ordered product on 14 January as a free trial . Received product onJan 19th. Saw charge on credit card on January 27 for $99.95. How can a free trial start the day the product was ordered? Unless it's sent thru the computer. Called Company, Rep says 14 day trial starts the day the product is ordered even thou it's not at the Customer. Never heard such garbage before.

Authorities need to shut this Company down...too many people are being scammed!

I was also scammed by TruBelleza as all you ladies have been. I'm Canadian so of course the C$ was much lower than the US$ so that
was also painful. Same story, when speaking with a TruBelleza customer rep., he only would give me US$50 back as a refund after STEALING USA
TWO HUNDRED & FIFTY DOLLARS by withdrawing this amount from my credit card without my permission.
However, here's where my story differs a bit. I contacted my credit card company and they had said that this company has been flagged
and that the credit card gal in the dispute dept. suggested she would call TruBelleza and that we would both be on the line together. TruBelleza's
representative that we spoke with was told that credit card companies (both Visa and MasterCard) has TruBelleza flagged and that to protect their
valuable customers from being scammed, the credit card co.'s would be giving TOTAL refunds back to them. Yes, I got all monies back.
So, this is a suggestion ladies, get in touch with your credit card company and have them deal with these THIEVES. Keep your cool and let the pros help! Good luck.

This so called company managed to take 132.97 and 150.32 from my credit card as well. The shipping charges were unclear as one was for 1.33. Really what is that?
I spoke to the rep who called me to say my order was received and will be sent out and I told her that I wanted nothing else to be sent and no other charges placed on my card. She then formed me that I had to wait until I received my shipment before I could do that.
I received my order and cancelled via email any further purchases and charges.
Guess I was 1 day late and the full amount was charged immediately. Not sure how they can justify the cost for the products as they aren't worth the trial price to begin with.
I contacted the company and was flat out told that "sorry you're too late" but offered a $45 compensation to which I refused and advised them in would contact the BBB.
Dr Oz promotes this product so I'm emailing him to inform him of this scam. Not sure how far that will go or if my email even gets regarded but it's worth a try. Good luck to anyone who is fighting this.

Do not order this product. Such a scam.
Company charges you full purchase price before you receive the product. You dont even get to try the product. Essentially you have purchased the product as soon as you place your trial. That is $250.00 canadian!

Yes, it is a scam. I have the same story and am out $250 Canadian. There was never any moment of choice for me as a customer. I consider this theft, though they probably have the contract described in page 22 of the fine print. I am going to have to cancel my credit card because the contact I've had with customer service so far is 100% useless and they clearly have no intention of making things right. Don't do it, anyone reading this. This is not a business. It is a scam.

I also got scammed by Tru Belleza. On May 3/2016, I was charged $3.95 USD for shipping to get a free trial offer of a 0.5 ounce tube of INSTALIFT Rapid Wrinkle Control. On June 10/2016 I received my credit card statement and was shocked to discover that I had been charged $104.95 USD on May 17/2016, exactly 2 weeks after the initial shipping charge. I called my credit card company and was instructed to e-mail and phone Tru Belleza to demand that my account be cancelled immediately and to try to retrieve some of my money. After talking to numerous people at Tru Belleza I got a confirmation e-mail that my account was cancelled and that $50.00 USD had been returned to my credit card. That is the best they would do for me and they acted as though they were doing me a favour by doing it. I have been instructed by my credit card company to keep the e-mails and especially the cancellation number issued to me so that if I get any more charges next month or anytime in the future, the credit card dispute department can go after Tru Belleza. As I am Canadian, the US dollar amounts translate into much higher Canadian figures. This is the last time I will ever fall for a "free-trial offer...just pay the shipping" scam.

Following the offer of free samples from Tru Beleza in November 2015, we just realized that Tru Belize has extracted approximately $ 130.00 per month for the past six months.
Following several hours on the phone today, where the front line workers immediately offered to refund two months, we reached a supervisor that informed us that she would only credit $ 50.00.
The total of the six month scam is $ $ 883.00 CDN - $ 563.00 US.
We followed up with an email to them suggesting they deposit $ 500.00 US in the account to allow for shipping costs.
The supervisor named Trudy informed us that $ 50.00 was all they were prepared to return, and then she hung up.
Regardless of the quality of the product, if any is irrelevant, the company must be stopped from scamming innocent people.
Their business is unacceptable as it obviously a blatant scam.
If anyone has an idea how to bombard them with thousands of phone calls per day let us implement it.

This is all so true they are a scam...and a VERY BIG SCAM !...its unfortunate that MUSIC AND TV STARS ...have agreed to promote them. We have two stars from Quebec that had a GREAT DEAL OF INFLUENCE...in my buying into this scam...also the fact that the CHARGES ARE IN US DOLLARS...is not mentioned and for us Canadians with a low dollar...THAT MAKES A HUGE DIFFERENCE...without the backing they get from
CANADIAN popularities...not many Canadian women would be willing to buy these products at such an exchange rate...so I can say with deep
regret...because I do not belong to a class of people that has money to waste...that I WAS REALLY SCAMMED.

I wish we could report this with more effect! In April/16 I was charged the shipping fee. Then in May/16 I was charged $145.42 and $134.23. Having not received any additional products (which I didn't order) Oh I forgot/didn't see about the 14 day crap. I called them(joke) I was told the April charge was the shipping fee, the May charge was for the product, one was 1/2 oz the other was 1 oz. I really could have gone to Mexico and had a face lift for that amount of $. Well I shall remain with wrinkles and few more given the stress after that phone call. Please stop them from stealing from more people.

Tru Belleza Anti-wrinkle cream and Tru Belleza eye serum

I thought I was purchasing a sample of each for shipping and handling cost of $4.95 each. Somehow, I was billed for a subscription amount as well and an auto renewal. The total cost to my credit card amounts to $287. I never received the anti-wrinkle cream, because there was a further cost of $61.00 for border crossing. I advised my postal station to return it. I am not satisfied with the eye serum product, because one thin application caused redness under my eyes. I have left numerous messages with " Ann" who has a lovely British accent but always leaves one on hold, then one can leave a message. Twice I have spoken to a human, first TIM, then Ed. Both promised to consult with their finance person Alex Remulla but he has not yet gotten back to me. My credit card company says this company has been shut down many times and comes back under a new name. They are currently located in South Carolina Greenville 29607. There are many reports of fraud on the web. Beware! I never see advertising for them since this incident. Previously, I saw several ads daily and use of the product by local people and by celebrities. I now suspect none of this is true. They target an area with lies til they get people interested, then scam them into purchasing a sample. We know how that turns out now!

I also have an terrible experience with Clean Skin London. I have carefully check my order for tester sample avoiding all traps for autopay. I do received test sample. Nevertheless, in October 2016 they three times charged my credit card (no product was received). Forth charge was made in November, again no product received. I was forced to ask my credit cart company block my card and issued a new one. In my opinion it is nothing less than crime. Taking into account the large number of victims of this fraud a class action should be considered in order to recover lost money.

I received a free product. Before ordering I thoroughly checked the website to ensure that there was no monthly commitment. I would not have ordered. Stupid me. They have now charged me $300 and I have no product. They will not answer calls. I have reported them to VISA - is there another agency that we can report them to in an effort to shut them down.

Same problem here.
I reach someone on the support line and it finally hung up on me.
I never got a returned call or further information but I was charged with fees (60.74$) for a product I never received.
I went on their web site http://trubelleza.com
There, they explain that the product that we receive is to be charged within 14 days form the date of the order Ù(not the delivery date). Also, if you wish to cancel you account, you must pay a amount (57.44$ in my case) if you do not want to receive any further shipment or charges on your credit card.
All in all, I received 2 instalift tubes and 1 age defying serum. At the end, the experience has cost me a total of $129.95.
I declared my credit card stolen. I think it's the only way to keep them from accessing my account.
Good luck to you.

Horrible Scam. It happened to me also. Please help me and others who have been deceived by Tru Belleza aka Clear Skin UK. I'm out over $100 in unauthorized charges. Next step for me is BBB and FB posts. I too am a senior citizen who lives on a fixed income and would never spend $99 for face cream. Help.
