My Tracfone cellular phone was on automatic refill since 2021 and accordingly my rollover minutes kept accumulating. They suddenly discontinued my service last year and deleted my minutes. When I reported it to BBB Tracfone contacted me several times, each time with a different story. Finallly they agreed to reactivate the phone but refused to restore the rollover minutes claiming my automatic refill payment did not go through in November. But they never notified me by email, text or phone call that the payment did not go through which is legally required before they disconnect service. Now they say that I had only ten days after disconnection of service to respond even though I had no way of knowing there was a problem. I came to realize that Tracfone is not an ethical company.
Recommendation: Be very careful if you use the services of this company as it cannot be trusted.
This used to be a good Company and not so much now. They give good deals but has a shotty call center to correct what they had done and even can not check any orders etc for the account. Possibly since Verison took over all has gone bad.
Beware it might be better to use other phone companies. Do not fall for the 3 months unlimited just pay for what you are going to use. I am retired and on a fixed income and can not afford a unlimited plan and I do not use much data 1G max per month . If reinstalted when will it just show up again as Zero.
I am sure they can track the minutes and confirm but CS seems like only take information but do not give any information. Was told two times they would add data one time all of the data and then 10G. Never happened.
