Scheduled a 5pm appointment for two new front tires on my truck at 8am that same morning at the Milford Connecticut Town Fair Tire, with the call center lady ASSURING me the tires I wanted would be sent there in time for my appointment (because they weren't in stock there). Get there at 5pm, no tires. Rescheduled it for next day at 4:30pm. Get there next day at 4:30, assistant manager says he wants to look at vehicle. Looks and says, back tires are bald and need to be replaced too. Told him I am aware but I could only afford the two fronts and only wanted the two fronts done, he said "its a liability" to only do the fronts. I said "are you refusing to do only the fronts?" and he just kept dodging a yes or no answer with "Its a liability" over and over, trying for the upsell. I finally said "even though I only want to buy TWO tires and have you put them on THE FRONT OF THE TRUCK ONLY, are you telling me you won't do that here, Yes or No ? He never said yes or no, just kept dodging a straightforward answer with some upsell BS about liablity so I walked out. TWO DAYS of wasted trips there, time, gas and time off from work, for NOTHING, because they screwed up delivering the correct tires first, and then forced an upsell to more than the two I wanted to the point I walked out. F*** them.
