Dear Sir/Madam

I am also a victum of TLG Lonas like 1000's of others. They took £ 199.99 from my account for no reason.
I have been told that my loan application has been approved so that they need admin fee to process my application before they sent it out.

I just can't beleive that how they doing this with no fear to 1000's of people who need help when they apply for loans not to be robbed off.

I am really very upset because its a lot of money for any employee who only survive on his wages.
I would like you to help me out with this regards and please help me to have my money back from these cheaters.

Many Thanks

Hello everybody,

Friday was such a great day for me because my bank (barclays) has recovered my £ 199.99 from TLG Loans and credited into my account. It took exact 3 months to get this money back.I would suggest everybody to report this fraud to your bank and please do tell them that you have not given any authorisation for this payment.

Watchdog never replied but I belive that Govt. departments are involved by now.

Good luck everybody

I have had £299 taken by them, can we not all get together some how and tackle this en-mass? Surley if we approached Watchdog etc as an army, they would take it seriously? I'm not sure how exactly to do it, perhaps a facebook group or something, I would be happy to set one up, unless there is a better plan? Please let me know what you think. Robin

My bank took action and clawed my money back from TLG loans, I paid £149.99 to Loansupermarket for a loan they said had been approved, they even told me the monethly payments and APR!

I NEVER RECV'D THAT LOAN!

But I am happy to get my money back, what a RESULT!

I urge you all to contact your bank either by phone or go into your branch and explain what happended - tell them about this website, give them the web address and they will investigate...and you need to advise them that you never authorised the transaction and they will fill in a form called 'Non fraudulent form'!

DO IT NOW!

It took my bank under 2 weeks to get the money back!

If you need any further info, contact me on clur1965@hotmail.com

GOOD LUCK ALL

Further to my posting on page 4...I contacted my bank and advised them that there has been some fraudulent activity on my account, i spoke with someone in the fraud dept. However, as I gave Loansupermarket.com my 16 digit no etc they cannot accept this as a fraudulent claim, but all is not lost, as the guy explained that I can complete a 'Non-Fraudulent Form' which I have done. My bank are now going to make enquiries and claw my £149.99 back. I hope so anyway. robbing B*******...

I was in exactly the same situation as you Vital4ik with BEST4LOANS. They are crooks. I'm going to complain to the complaints bodies that someone else has suggested in their comments. These companies shouldn't be allowed to get away with stealing ppl's hard earned money!

And the same story with company BEST4LOANS!

I am writing to company because I am unhappy with the way that your company has dealt with me, on Monday afternoon I received a call from one of agents, he informed me that he was calling from the company `BEST4LOANS.CO.UK.` We discussed my details, then he told me that he had a good proposal, that would be advantageous to me, I listened carefully to him, then he told me to make this deal I had to pay 49.80(punds.pence), I said ok, after I was given a reference number, when I went to the web site, and looged in was instructed to confirm the terms and conditions I read throught and confirmed. Then I was shown many different suggestions (which I already knew about). But at the end I was told that you feel that you are not in a position to help me for some reason.
So I want you to refund my money. Because I do not believe i have recieved any benefit or assistance from your company.
Otherwise, I will be forced to go to court.

Hello!
I am writing to you because I am unhappy with the fact this way, that this company have dealt with me, on Tuesday morning I received a call from one of agents, he informed me that he was calling from the company ``THELOANSUPERMARKET.CO.UK`` he then told me that in order for the company to be able to help me, he must take details of my account first, and when I asked if there would be any charges withdrawn from my account, he firmly told me no, so i confidently gave him the details. Then I went to the bank and decided to check my account and was surprised, when I saw that my account was 299.99 pounds down, I found out that you have withdrawn money from my account without my consent.
I want you to send this money back to my account with the same speed, as it was taken.
Otherwise, I will be forced take this matter to court.

Hi well the ### got me too. I also had the call telling me that i have been approved for my loan and they needed my bank card details to "Varify my identity", however two days later, conveniently when my benefits had been paid in early because of the bank holiday, i found that £149.99 was missing from my account. I had to wait to find out who had took it, but cancelled my card that day. However i then find out this week that i hadnt cancelled it in time as they had taken a further £149.99. This has now resulted in my account being £300 overdrawn and left me with no money with which to buy food for my children. As soon as i found this site i infromed my bank of this comapny and they are now looking into recovering my money from this company. Then to top it off, that evening i had a call saying my loan had been approved from no other than best 4 loans, needless to say i may have been quite rude to them on the phone. I too will also be contacting TS and Watchdog about this company, I am sure im not the only person on benefits that has been duped by these people and left to starve while they relish what they gain unlawfully.

I had someone from TLG Loans call me on Monday saying that I have been guaranteed a loan with x amount of APR. He also took my card details for verification and then asked me when I would have the funds in my account to pay the broker fee!
I have read all the comments on here and have now cancelled my card which they have got the details for, so they cannot take funds from my account unautorised.
I have also been stung by another broker company called Best4Loans! STAY AWAY FROM THEM! They have conned me out of nearly £50 and have no helped me at all.
These broker companies need to be banned. It is disgusting how they operate and take people's money like that!

Hi,

I received a call from a guy called Lee from TLG. he told me that my loan had been approved and etc and also took my card details. I have rung my bank and cancelled my card, as I have just read the comments on this page and i'm worried taht they would take money from my account.

Also please be careful of BEST4loans. They are another 'broker' company who guaranteed me a loan, I paid nearly £50 to then be told that the loan has been declined. These companies are disgusting and should be banned!

I have been stung exactly in the same way, they said that my loan had been agreed, but needed my card details to porve my identity and that the card was registered to my address. I did not authorise them to take the £149.99 from my account which they have done. I'm off on holiday tomorrow and now I dont have any money to spend. How can this happen, I feel like crying! I've rang the broker company involved loansupermarket.co.uk to complan and they give me the number for TLG loans [protected], i have rang this number to rquest my money back and recv'd "there is no0ne here to take your call" and then the line went dead! I have rang my bank to stop this payment of £149.99 and they said there is nothing they can do, except for me to contact the retailer to ask them to call my bank to return the funds! As if! I am really f**** pi*ed off. I dare n ot tell my partner as I feel stupid that I was daft enough to give them my long card number. If they were going to deposit funds into my bank account then the sort code and account number would have been suffice! I feel annoyed with myself that I let this happen, the robbing ba******.

hello all, I have been de frauded in much the same way. I feel that the police need to take some form of action sooner rather than later to prevent more people falling for this con game. Besides having stolen the money i would like to know how they accessed my details in the first place. This surely is some kind of serious crime under the data protection act if they have registered a company purely for the purpose of gaining the details of vulnerable people and then going on to defraud them?

I am furious, my son who is unemployed received a call from these con men asking if he wanted a loan, as he would like to start his own business, they said they would try to get one for him and if he was accepted they would take an admin fee, i tried to ring to say we are not interested, they put the phone down and twice gave me the wrong number. Within 5 minutes they had taken £99.99, his job seekers allowance. How dare they lie to people! You'll not get away with it!

hi everyone i was conned i have rang numbers and spoken to 4 diffrent companys they got me while i just got in from work and was tired i never normally give out my bank details over the phone i think we need to set up a action group against this company or companys i propose to do this so if anyones intrested in joining up i would like to set 1 up and pass on all the people who have been conned like my self . A compliants form with your names to be sent to my member of parliment ALISON SEABECK with your permissions and we will demand action to be taken against these fruadlant companys. After all they need to be made a example off and stoped in their conning of inocent folks and unauthrised taking of peoples cash from their accounts. I propose that my mp needs to take the details of TLG and pass a new law that any company or anyone trading in a fruadlant way shall get the min jail sentance of 10 years and made to pay back money taken with a hefty compensation bill. this would send out the message to anyone or orginisation who even dares thinks about conning or causing fraud.

IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO CONTACT ME ABOUT THIS MY EMAIL ADRESS IS : PLYMOUTHGUY32@hotmail.com lets teach TLG a big lesson united we will crush their fruad actions so come on people lets show them we mean bussiness in numbers .

Hiya all,
I recently applied for a loan online and recieved a call from a member of TLG. They said that I had been approved for a loan and that I would recieve my documents through the post and that I would be charged an admin fee od £49.99 which has already been debited from my account. I recieved the documents through the post with a slip I had to sign and send back to there office in stockpost chesire. I did this today but after reading the letter again I wondered if they where going to take further payments from my account. The letter read...

I take great pleasure in informing you that your loan application is approved in principal and would like to thank you for commissioning TLG Loans to arrange your credit agreement.
It then goes on to say that they charge between £49.99 and £199 to cover the necessary time to handle and process my loan application.
As I wanted to question if I was going to be given another admin charge I tryed to call the number on the letter where I had no answer so when I got home from work tonight I tryed to look them up on the internet. As they did not have a website I stumbled across this page where I am now very concerned as I spent my last £50 to afford this loan.
Is this the same process that has happened to anyone else? Has anyone actually recieved there loan from this company?

These Fu**kers did the same to me! Asked me to verify my card details just to confirm my identity. Once I did that I rang the bank to find out £49.99 was deducted from my account Straight away. I explained the situation to my bank and they are recalling the money back to my account. The money is now back in my account, the bank took 1 day to do this.

People ring your banks and explain the situation and they will call the money back into your accounts. Dont let these F**king B**tards get away with this. I told the guy I do not want any money deducted until I know when and how much so that i can make a decision.
The only stupid thing i did was give out my card detials - DEH! Not again, I have now learned my lesson.
OH - I have reported these people to Watch Dog - Got a story. Everyone should, the more people that reports this company the better..

While necessary, there is no amount of complaining that is going to either return your money, or stop the activity of these companies.

Think about this logically:
Loan origination fees are paid through the proceeds of the loan.
Even the most abusive - though legit - lenders do this.
So, you know upfront that you're dealing with a group that will flee before refunding any money.
Law enforcement can't go after every scammer - not realistic and the ultimate cost to everyone would be excessive.
So, there is a threshold of complaints that various enforcement agencies use. Most base it on the total monetary value of complaints, though they will also go after companies that target specific vulnerable groups - like the elderly.
These thresholds are understood by the scammers as well, so after they let the scam run for a while, they pack up and disappear - with your money.
Generally speaking, the participants are long gone before any investigation can start.
As long as people are gullible - there will people to gull them.
