Tim Hortons review: Cilantro chicken bowl

I ordered a Cilantro Chicken Bowl at the Tim Horton's in Lethbridge, at Sunridge Rd W. tonight and was asked if I wanted slow-cooked or crispy chicken. I asked for the slow-cooked.

When I received my bowl the chicken was the crispy chicken. I went back to the staff to tell them and their only comment was, "Oh, we didn't have any slow-cooked chicken so we gave you the crispy."

They were rude in their attitude and acted without any care. The least they could have done was inform me and let me make a decision as to whether I would change my order or not. I did eat it... but I should have changed my order and insisted I get my money back. The restaurant was not busy... we were about the only people there.

This Tim's is (was) a favourite of ours... close to our home and our family often meets there. The last year or so, the service has been slow. When we walk in to order, the men working there can't be bothered to serve us and just continue what they are doing until they all of a sudden become of aware of us.

They seldom have chili at supper time... we usually go there around 5:00. It's too much bother to cook enough for the day, is the impression I get.

To be honest, I feel like when we arrive, its like we are an imposition and unwelcome. There are two men that seem to run the place. Laid-back could describe them? Or lazy? They are giving the Tim's we know a terrible reputation. I hope they don't own the place and are just staff.
