The UPS Store 2 photographs

This store threw out 2 large and expensive mattes surrounding my photographs. I was forced to have my framer re-matte at a cost of $125. The manager, Drake Smith, freely admits they did this and promised to take care of the cost. He did neither. The level of incompetence at this facility is shocking. I am supplying pictures of the mattes they tossed out which apparently they found in their garbage. I demand a check be sent to cover my cost.

The UPS Store lost package

I mailed a $10, 000 Rolex from this store on approx 10/1/19 to a person who purchased it from me via eBay. The incompetent owner of the store was adamant about seeing the watch that was being sent, right after that I had a strange feeling. Low and behold by 10/4/19, the watch went "missing" in Kentucky at a UPS warehouse after it was scanned in (likely story). The gentlemen buying the watch did not want to pay for the insurance and insurance is very expensive via ups, cutting into my profit. I took it upon myself to insure it for $5000...Fast forward 1 month and this issue is still not resolved! The UPS Store owner shouldn't be employed by a dog walking service let alone be allowed to run a UPS Store. Every time I call her for an update she seems to have just received one but doesn't bother to call me/ follow up! UPS Corporate should be out of business for gross negligence, fraud/ theft and even further incompetence! How does a boxed package that's being sent 2 day air go mysteriously missing in 2019?!?! I've called UPS corporate at least a dozen times only to be left at the mercy of [censored] after [censored] who can't seem to find a supervisor that can further assist me! I'll be taking legal action against all parties involved because this was an inside job!

The UPS Store follow up with damaged goods/insurances

I dropped off my delicate package to by wrapped up because it needed much attention
My package arrived broken and NOT properly wrapped, I could have done better and saved myself the $70 I put in a claim only to find out the owner never submitted it I had called UPS to find this out After FIVE different numbers
given to me at each number a claim was put in
but I have no verification of this and was told I had to check with the store that had sent it out
That store is completely incompetent and I don t ever want to use them again, both times I was there I was not treated well and with NO follow up I want to make sure my claim is in with a statement and file this complaint

The UPS Store workers

I went in to fax a paper and the employee rubbed my hair. I told her do not touch my hair, she told another customer that people get so butthurt over small things. I told her well how would you feel if I came around the counter and just touched you without permission? The manager told me I was taking it too far and said she had pepper spray. We had a verbal altercation and then she said that is why people like me go to jail. I am a black woman and feel that this was based off of my color. The UPS Store add packaging

10/25/19

Emily charged me $5.33 to change my packaging. She informed me that I will not be able to send a return in the box, U.S.Postal Box, I received from the retailer. I investigated this and found that I could return the package as long as it had a UPS label.
This is fraud and I am not happy about it. Emily gave me false information to boost her daily sales.

The UPS Store international shipping

Hi I went to this UPS store on September 7th to ship Vitamins to my husband in Germany. He had forgotten to take them with him on his trip. The package was supposed to get to him on Tuesday the 10th. I was told by the gentleman that did the shipment the I should have no problem shipping them. I paid over $100 to have them shipped. He was only going to be there for a week. My husband went back and fourth with UPS Germany during that time. Finally over 2 weeks later we get a call from UPS asking if we want the package back. According to UPS International this gentleman should of never took the vitamins from me to ship. He should of told me that he was unable to ship them. He also should of called UPS International to check if the vitamins were ok to ship. Instead he took my money and shipped them. I've been in touch for the last month with the gentleman that shipped them via email and all he keeps telling me is that the store owner should be getting back to me. I haven't heard anything from the store owner. This is a UPS store, these guys are supposed to know what they are doing. I'd like my money back because these should of never been able to be shipped. Iam hoping someone can help me. Thank you Jenny Ritchey

It appears there are nefarious minded people behind the operations of these so called store fronts. *Maybe not all cause there are excellent employees also*. Just because someone puts a label on a store does not mean those employees are who they seem to be. Look a bit further into whom these people are and you might wonder is this a real business afterall...hmmmmm

The UPS Store pack and ship

I had a heavy pottery vase (about 20 lbs) to send to california. I took to ups store 6837 and asked if they could pack and ship on october 4. They said yes and described how they would pack it. I was satisfied and reassured by their pack and ship guarantee and advertising for packing "anything", including items of art. I designated it as fragile and irreplaceable. Tracking number was 1z37x4v00328188017.
On arrival it was shattered and appeared shoddily packaged, nothing like they described to me. Ups picked it up for inspection. We requested return of the package as the pot possibly could have been glued back together and was of great sentimental value. Following inspection, ups discarded the package and vase remnants. I asked how they could throw away my property, damaged though it was. I was told this is how their contract with the ups store requires. Now ups is trying to deny the insurance claim because they say it was not securely packaged. I plan to contest that because it was packed by the store. I hope their "guarantee" holds up. The only resolution I see is for them to honor the insurance claim, but it would seem to me I am owed more for how this was handled. I would also like to be able to register a complaint regarding the store franchise owner.

I Purchased a mailing box in Hixson yesterday because I was at a doctors appointment in Chattanooga I decided not to use the box and try to return it to my local UPS store in Cleveland and was refused I was told I would have to take it all the way back to Hixson to return the box plus I was charged more for it in Hixson then I would've had to pay for in Cleveland if I still wanted it

The UPS Store customer service

It's been a few weeks and I've contemplated even sending this email however, it still bothers me how bad my experience was at this store.

The gentleman helping me was the assistant manager Andrew. He was the most unhelpful person in customer service I have dealt with in awhile.

I brought in an item to be shipped and he asked if I wanted a box or bag for it... I said I wasn't sure- and he told me the bag would be the cheaper option and so I said alright. I had a baby in my arms and he pointed to the back wall where the bags were- I went and grabbed one to the front and tried to struggle holding my baby and put the item in the bag. It tore the bag a little... and he said you might need the bigger bag and I said okay and again went to the back wall again for the larger bag. I came back to the counter trying again to put my item in the bag with one arm while I held my baby in the other arm. He offered no help, just watched. THEN once I finally got the item in the bag he rung me up and says "well do you wanna pay for this ripped bag since I can't sell it now?" ... I shrugged and said that's fine. So I paid for the ripped bag as well as the bigger bag that was used to ship my item. If he had helped me in the FIRST place I don't think I would of ended up ripping a bag or if I knew I was going to be charged for it you better believe I would of just taped that bag and made it work. It was just a very bad experience and extremely poor customer service.

I will absolutely use a different location from here on out for all shipping needs.

The UPS Store lying, cheating customers, passing the buck

My brother from SALUDA, SC shipped a package very well packed with bubble wrap for each stemware and put them in small boxes and then into another box with more bubble wrap. Arrived in pieces. I have spoken to 7 people, sent 6 emails, left three messages, and this has been going on for two months. The owner of the store in LEXINGTON, SC LIES IN WRITING ABOUT WHAT ACTUALLY OCCURRED. We are going to contact the Attorney General and the BBB IF this does not resolved. Please call to discuss before we have to take further action.

The UPS Store service

I walked into the store this morning to pick up a package. T.J. who refused to give me his name and also refuse to give me the Store owner's name indicating that he did not need to provide me with that information, was telling me that there was no delivery for me from UPS. I continued to tell him that I had a UPS delivery that needed signature and two days ago, I re-routed the delivery to the store. TJ continued to tell me that he was not a UPS employee and there was nothing he could do, he repeated this about three times and then proceeded to tell me in a very poor tone of voice that this was a franchise and asked me if I knew what a franchise was. TJ demeanor was poor at best, he should not be dealing with the public. He lacks empathy and the will to assist. I assume he was the branch manager and he suffers from title syndrome. While I kept telling him that I understood I was not in a UPS facility, I had my package re-routed to the store and did not understand why it was not at the facility. This was a very simple matter which someone with just a little bit of people skills could have handled in a very professional way. Dane Lynch is the store owner.

The UPS Store joshua ups employee

This employee was so terribly rude to me and the other customers. I was returning all of my direct tv equipment and he tossed my stuff around. I'm afraid he won't return it all because he yelled st me to leave his store once I told him that he was being rude. He was miserable at work and made it known to everybody in there. You must as his employer address this as soon as possible. I hope all of my stuff gets returned to direct tv!

The UPS Store behavior and service at this storefront

THE UPS Store in Houston Texas (3636 Old Spanish Trail 77021) .. this store is primarily African American and is on the fringe of two neighborhoods .. one being upper income and one being very poor.

On numerous occasions I have had been the victim of blatant racism. It is so irritating I cannot begin to tell you. I have paid for numerous letters that NEVER arrive and other issues .. all of this being because of the staff in this location . This week .. enough is enough ... the staff called everyone around me to be waited on and THEN when I got to the counter the staff was "out of supplies" and instead of getting a UPS envelope they forced me to buy a padded envelope for $2.84 rather than getting a UPS letter envelope that is part of the supplies you pay for when sending a letter through UPS. This place needs a serious course in racist behavior .. the staff clearly thinks that it's OK to be rude and unprofessional to a white person.

This is a common and unfortunate practice in the Black community believing that their actions against whites .. by waiting on other people .. walking away from the counter when a white person is next in line and walking up to other blacks in line in front of the white person waiting to be waited on is "OK" ... because in this segment of the Black society racism is only committed by WHITE people .. enough is enough.

This store is a "MESS" unorganized and constantly machines are not working .. this needs to change .. and educate this staff about racism .. racism cannot end until ALL that are responsible for it change

The UPS Store local ups store is having a very poor support on refund issue.

Am having big disappointment to UPS local store to handle refund issue where the store in-charge is not helpful at all to deal with the refund policy and besides, the store in-charge did not show any interest or even ignore to my discussion with UPS customer service to explain why this refund issue raised up with all supporting documents provided. I can provide all emails for reference if necessary.

The UPS Store defrauding the customer/misrepresentation the price to canada

I went to this store on Sat to ship some refurbished hard drives and enclosures to my sister in Canada. The UPS store person who was not friendly at all said these items will be $230.00 plus the cost of box and others. I agreed.

He got my information and then showed me an invoice for the custom for $750.00 I said I do not want them to get charged in Canada and plus these items are not even worth $30.00 He kept saying that not to worry and this is internal document and Canadian custom do not see that. Again, I requested him to change the price on these items and he mentioned that UPS computer is putting these numbers and it is not his fault. I felt there is some Strange about this person and I said that he does not listen to customer and very rude. He requested me to leave the store and threatened to call the Police. I said I will talk to your manager and left the store.

I took the same items and went to another store in (#1151) which cost me $45.00 This was a big rip off that I was able to cancel in Santa Clarita. This store should be investigated for defrauding customers.

The UPS Store amazon return

Typically I have no issues at this store, but the woman working this morning was difficult for no apparent reason. First, I printed the label Amazon provided and she wanted to charge me because it ‘didnt Fit their envelope'. The fact that it didn't fit their envelope has nothing to do with me following the instructions and printing it out as instructed in the return process. Then, she wanted to state ‘we are not Amazon and people want to get mad at us.' This is a contracted company for Amazon services, so yes you do work alongside with Amazon as they can terminate your contract. This woman should not be representing The UPS Store interacting with the public and should be reprimanded for her behavior as a customer service representative.

The UPS Store package not sent

About 2 weeks ago i went in to my local UPS store in Wethersfield Ct to return an amazon package (free return). I have been returning packages there for many years. The person at the cash register was visibly in a bad mood. I handed him my package and emailed the label to his computer (as i have in the past) he proceeded to charge me $2.20. I told them its a free return with a prepaid label and i shouldn't be charged anything. Come to find out the email i sent him cost $2 and the 2 papers cost 20 cents. Which he did not advise me of before charging me. As i was talking to him the owner nods her head and says its Ok we got it and you're all set. 2 weeks later i'm still waiting for my package to be sent. with amazon return when the ups store scans your package you receive an email notification that the item is being shipped out of their facility. I never got that and i knew something was fishy right away. I CALLED AMAZON AND THEY BASICALLY SAID THE ITEM NEVER LEFT THE UPS STORE. Went back to the store twice to resolve it and nothing. They say they don't have the package and they don't know where it is. So basically at the ups store in Wethersfield, you can be in a bad mood and proceed to not send a costumer's package. so basically stealing. I will also be contacting the police about this

The UPS Store notary public service

Went into the ups store this afternoon to get a couple of documents signed by the notary public. I told the notary public that I would be signing for my mother since I have a power of attorney to do so. She looked at the documents and told me that my mom had to be present to do the signing. Since I was in a hurry to have the docs signed this afternoon, I went ahead and get my mom She was waiting in the car because I take her with me everywhere because of her dementia that doesn't allow me to leave her at home by herself while I do this errand. So, after 10 min of persuading my mom to come to the ups store, she was finally in front of the notary public who then asked her if she had her consent to let me sign for her. My mom said yes and then she asked for her ID. I showed her her last drivers license that expired in 2014 and explained that her current ca id was lost. She abruptly said " I can't help you then." She then proceeded to to help other customers and left me there FRUSTRATED and CONFUSED! I showed her the proper documents to show that I was authorized to sign yet she wanted her to be there in her presence as if she didn't believe the documents were real. It is ironic that I have the power of attorney documents signed at the same ups store. SO, it was as if she was saying, we don't believe the validity of our own notary public. I said something to the effect that she should have told me that was required and the only response she could say was " You didn't ask". I then replied that she was a notary public and should have let her clients know what was required. I left with my mom angry and called her a [protected]@##! I feel bad about saying that but it felt good at the time. I didn't get her name but she is the one with the incompetent look on her face. If there was a rating less that 1 star, that will still be a generous rating to give to this store. STAY AWAY if you value your time and sanity! STAY AWAY unless you like the feeling of being treated like a criminal and nothing more than a nuisance to her day. Just STAY AWAY!
A reasonable resolution to this issue would be for this lady to get more training on how to be more tact instead of tactless. Also, to get more training on the proper procedures in dealing with notarizing documents involving power of attorneys issues. It still gets me mad that I had to subject my mom to getting out of the car, she has a hard time walking and she has dementia, which requires a lot of time to get her to come with me to the store. All of it was totally unnecessary. An UNreasonable resolution to this issue would be for this employee to get fired for cause and get treated the same way I was treated. If only.

The UPS Store I sent a package through this store, and they sent it to the wrong person and address

I took in 1 package that I had 2 Columbia camp shirts. And 3 Boho Bandeaus.
The package had all of the correct information on the label, that I had purchased at the post office.
I had a jar of pickled jalapeño asparagus, that I had bubble wrap around. I purchased a box for this to be shipped. She asked me what the contents were in the package. Which I explained as above. We together decided to use the package that I had sealed, to wrap around the jar also for extra cushion.
She was very rushed, because 3 more customers walked through the door.
Because she had the information on the package that she needed, she sat it behind her after she had gotten a quick signature, and payment. And told me that she would get it out yet that day.
I told my daughter that it would be delivered to her on Monday. As that is what Carme at the Mt. Pleasant, Michigan UPS Store told me.
Monday, August 5, 2019 I called my daughter.
She hadn't received the package.
So I gave it another day. Tuesday I called again. No package. I located my receipt.
When I looked at it, I was in total shock and panic!
She put some other name and address of where it was going! Now after phone calls to the store telling them that Carme made a huge mistake, they can't get a hold of anybody at the address where they dropped it off! Carme said she can only refund the money that I was charged for the shipping fee, the box, and 25 dollars that she put down by mistake also! Was supposed to be 50 dollars!

The UPS Store untrained employee that has a smart mouth on her.

I needed medical records converted into a PDF file to send to a third party. Date was 08/07/2019 at approx. 10:15 am. Female employee informed me that she did not have training to do the service and that I would have to return at a later time. I explained that I had other paperwork converted to PDF files before at this location. The female employee was very sarcastic and rude. Obviously she was a new employee left on her on at this location without proper training. Now I am going to have to make multiple Uber trips to get this paperwork converted since I am unable to drive due to my surgery. Employee at the least should be reprimanded for her attitude and properly trained before being left in total control over the store without supervision.
