On the 11th of April 2025, went to cancel a lay-bye due to personal reason. I was assisted by a very rude girl named Siyamthanda Nayoti, if I'm not mistaken. When I requested for a cancellation, she had a very bad attitude which I didn't mind, I just minded my business till when she counted the money and they realized that the lay-bye was made cash, her attitude escalated. She informed me that the money would then be sent to my account and would only reflect after 7 days, I informed her that I needed to purchase a few things at the store and I needed them asap but she was even bothered. I requested for a manager how then assisted and advised her to make the refund cash and she would authorize it, Siyamthanda then said she doesn't have cash so she won't be able to assist. I asked her whats her probem, why doesnt she seem willing to assist and I've never experienced such attitude at foschini. The altercation then landed at us shouting and calling each other names, she had the audacity to swear even with customers on site. I am utterly disappointed at suc behaviour, the store is usually my go to store but after such an encounter I will not be going back there. Her supervisor apologized and assisted with the request and then informed me that I will receive an apology from Siyamthanda, but till now I haven't received anything. I even asked for footage but was informed by the supervisor that I would have to pay fot it.
