Randall's Bakery

10/ 21/2023 Lakeway Randall's a customers for about 8 year's for the past year half.The store GM is very Racist the decorator said fat black bicth to the baker the baker come right back and said I don't like [censored]s, your last decorators was the most respectful people ever and loved their job SMH do something about this racist stuff bring back people that care about there customers

Randall's Dogs inside store

4/20/23 @ 4:45 pm: Why does Randallls store allow pets inside. Today, this person had his pittubll puppy inside a cart and shopping. I believe this is unsanitary and stupid especially when the puppy is whining. I can understand a person with a service dog. It is really, really stupid. If I want to see a dog, I'll go to a petstore. The security guard you have at the entrance should have said "No pets allowed". If he's not doing his job then fire him.

Desired outcome: I do not want to see dogs inside Randalls store.

Randall's Delivery

I’m a customer with Disabilities, I’ve experienced this incident before however I decided to give y’all another chance, Boy was I wrong to trust y’all again! Twice TWICE I placed an order and twice I didn’t received my groceries and no one knows anything doesn’t even bother to call the driver or the delivery service they contact with nothing! Now I’m out of not only my groceries but my Money! First time it took almost a month to replace my money how long is it going to take this time. If anything I should receive my money and free groceries for the inconvenience. I can’t drive due to my disability so I rely on delivery it’s a shame I can’t depend on y’all I’m looking to change grocery stores like H‑E‑B they’re very dependable and reliable. SHAME on Randalls.

Randall's Price not honored

On Nov. 21st at about 8:30 pm, i went to Randall's to buy some orchids for my mom. We saw not one but three orchids that were priced at 4.99 so i went to self check out to pay and the lady that was there offered to help us scan and then she said she wasn't going to allow me to take them. Didn't offer a resolution or anything just took the flowers away from me and took the prices off of them and called her supervisor and he told me that some customers change the prices which can't be true because the tag on them said orchids.

Desired outcome: I'd appreciate a response in the matter as to what should've happened

Randall's General customer service

Normally a krogers customer, so we thought we would try Randall’s instead of our normal store due to a recent move. I saw there was a discount for having a card. I went to a cashier and customer service who refused to help me create an account. I was basically told to download the app and make an account on my own, despite being in the store shopping. At that point I just abandoned my cart and left the store. I will just travel the extra distance to my normal store. You lost a potential customer just for having lazy associates.

Randall's Ribeye steaks value packs

I purchased a package of thin cut value pack ribeye steaks yesterday which was printed “value pack” on the label. I was charged the sales price of 6.97lb. but the advertised price was 5.95lb. Upon returning to the store customer service she stated it was only the thick cut that was 5.97. It does not state “thick cut only” in your ad. Although she did give me a price adjustment. I find this very misleading as it only says value pack and it clearly states it’s a value pack on the packaging.

Desired outcome: Needs to be stated in your ad what cut is on sale for the advertised price.

Randall's I am complaining about defamation and personal injury resulting from recent incident at location aforementioned

Good Evening,

I am DERRIAN GULLATTE the customer and victim filing a Complaint Against: Randall's Store 2225 Louisiana St Houston Texas 77002

On December 5th 2019 around time of 12:20am I called a cab to Randall's Store. I made it to Randall's right before closing. The Security officer and two others were standing outside the store upon my arrival.

As I hurried out can with my store bought grocery bags and backpack. Approaching the entrance the security officer only stated to me I didn't have a lot of time closing in 10mins cause restocking day Wednesday.I was like huh I been here for years off & on and they've always closed at 1am. That was the only exchange taken place.

The Defamation: (After gathering all my groceries my cart was filled very high top and bottom. Along with grocery items paid with EBT, I had products that were to be paid with cash which I had both forms of payment in my pockets.)
During the midst of me retrieving the last item which was bread on bread isle; at that same moment items were rolling off the cart onto floor so without any criminal intent I put those items in my shopping bags & backpack that I usually carry along when I'm doing huge grocery shopping... It was approaching 1am closing so I hurriedly made up front to the checkout line.
AT THAT TIME THE SECURITY GUARD she came behind me and was like I'm going to have to check your backpack & I said why are you accusing me of stealing she said no & I said why do you have to check my backpack & she replied because we're having ppl leave their bags up front & I stated "why didn't you inform me of that before I entered the store when you were harassing me about the remaining time I had to shop. I continued not one time did you follow me into the store or mention anything about the "backpack policy" & she said well I'm still going to have to check your bag and I said I don't care you can check my bag.
*** This is happening while I'm standing at checkout loading my groceries on the conveyor belt and she's going on and on so once my groceries were almost all loaded the cart had enough room to put the stuff I didn't have room for like those items in my bag I placed in grocery cart those were the things I was going to pay cash for. Groceries were being paid with EBT Gov' benefits. (I'm on disability mental & medical reasons)
The security guard then came charging like around the backside of me and snatch the backpack out the cart and carried to a closed checkout line by then she I dispatched the manager informed him about her issue and I said y'all acting like I just walked out here and stole something and I'm a regular for many years off and on. So the Night Mgr went to go review the cameras he came back down and said yes he was stealing putting stuff in his bag. I said WHAT I SAID IM ABOUT TO PAY FOR THOSE THINGS WITH THE ALMOST $300 something dollars that I had in my pocket.
Now I'm still standing in front of cashier and looking in my wallet for my ebt card and I found it & there was about 7 more food items needed to be scanned. So they pulled out the items I had trouble keeping in basket and was mocking me & what I had said which was I'm not stealing I haven't stole anything and I'm going to pay for all that which I had EVERY INTENT TO DO FROM THE GET GO UPON MY TRIP TO RANDALLS. They said I was lying and that I was stealing and I'm like no I was not stealing because I never had intent to steal and if I was stealing I would have walked directly out store by passing all points of sale and that is stealing something that I haven't done.

The security guard begin calling police and I got a little hysterical in disbelief that with me standing there repeating over and over y'all are lying and accusing me of something that I haven't done. So I yelled out an explicit and then said I'm going back home I can't believe this "[censored]". I walked off in shock and with tremendous anxiety because I am on probation and I refused to be wrongfully jailed for something that I did not do.

I went to second floor to get out of there my mind wasn't clear and I jumped from 2nd floor balcony landed on to the front parking near entrance. I wasn't hurt or anything.
I got up and all I heard was the girl that work in deli department and a black gentleman standing there and the two begin yelling here he is here he is out here.
Both of them ran up behind me. The guy started punching me in back of my head & grabbing me she was pulling or tugging on my clothes and we fell then I got back up trying to get away from those two and the guy ended up knocking me down on ground nearest Milam street along side of road. The guy who I thought was loss prevention, he stomped and kicking on me so hard then I tried to get up and away I screaming for help as he kept attacking me. Then he wrestled me back onto the ground and she sat on my back and he put me in a choke hold with forearm around my neck and I cried out what are you doing I can't breathe what are y'all doing why are y'all doing this and finally the male black got up from choking and the Randall's Deli employee Hispanic girl got up from sitting on my back they caused enough damage to me than anything else.

Hello Again,
If I may add this as incident report Randall's should have. Also police reports that were made that I don't have.
Also Medical Records have been requested from Ben Taub and
I SUFFERED Fractured rib cage from the guy kicking and stomping me while I was on the ground I had nose fracture and by him bending my arms in back of me he dislocated my wrist bones and stomping all over me it was full fledge attack and the Deli Dept worker helped him and watched him do this to me outside in front in the parking area nearest the street.

I was eventually sent to the emergency room via HPD once I got to the jail I told them I had trouble with my body I couldn't walk barely bend are use my wrist to do anything and they accused me of lying and trying to get out of going to jail finally I demanding to a jailer I been seen it was serious. The doctor confirmed my agony with details that I may have broken ribs and the took me to the Urgent Care emergency center on Westheimer & Montrose Blvd. where xrays and cat scan were performed confirming both sides of my rib cages were fractured but no punctures to organs.

It wasn't until way hours and hours later my wrist were swelling so bad that I complained for help and the deputies kept telling me to wait till I'm booked in to see doctor I tried and couldn't take it so they escorted me to the medical section and it was confirmed that my wrist were broken a and I was sent to Ben Taub.
The doctors at Ben Taub performed surgery on my wrist . I was sent back to the county jail placed in the infirmary section nearly two weeks passed and my Mother Bonded me out on December 24th 2019.
I STILL DO NOT HAVE THE FULL STRENGTH IN MY WRIST I AM NOT ABLE TO MOVE MY HIPS AND BACK LIKE BEFORE THE FALSIFICATION OF STEALING OCCURRED.
** THE PICTURES BELOW ARE THE AFTERMATH OF THE INCIDENT OR ASSAULT FROM THOSE TWO PEOPLE THE HISPANIC RANDALLS STORE DELI EMPLOYEE AND HER ALLEGED BOYFRIEND WHO WAS SENT TO JAIL WITH ME FOR THEM STEALING MY MONEY.

** I went to jail due to my priors but this arrest was a lie cause I was not technically stealing and I had no intent to steal when I had well over enough means and ways I intended to initially use as forms of payment. Instead I'm standing in front of cashier not even finished being rang up yet and the guard and manager calling police saying I was stealing and stealing I had to have passed all points of sales which never occurred at all.

Randall's pharmacist - bernice

I have to first give you the back story to fully understand the situation:
My doctor has been prescribing me Suboxone film for several months now. It is a controlled drug. My most recent insurance has limits for the drug that are below what I was previously being prescribed. My doctor eventually ended up writing me 2 prescriptions, one that insurance would cover, and a second one for the additional films that I could just pay cash for, to keep me on my then current dosage. I have been filling one or both, at Randalls. Its a rx for 2 boxes of 12mg films and another rx for one box of 8mg films. (The reason we did 2 different mg films was strictly to keep cost down, fewer strips of 12mg= lower coinsurance). Randalls does not keep 12mg films in stock, so I sometimes fill that rx elsewhere that does always have it in.
We began these prescriptions this way several months ago. The first time I dropped it off like that, the doctor sent along a short note concerning the additional box of 8mg she was prescribing. I gave it along with prescriptions to the pharmacy, even suggesting they should make a copy.
Yesterday, I went to Randall's to inquire about my current refill, and Bernice looked at my prescriptions and said that she "wouldn't touch it with a ten foot pole" because I had a separate 12mg rx showing. Remember, they've been filling these for months already! She went on about needing to talk to the doctor first, and I told her that when the doctor wrote my last prescriptions in August, it was on her last day at that clinic were I'd been seeing her. I told Bernice she obviously wouldn't be able to reach the Dr at the clinic the last rx was written from, but that she was at a place called Menninger Clinic, and that I was sure if I asked her, she would call them and straighten it out. Bernice said that wouldn't work because she'd have no way of knowing if she was really speaking to the doctor! That comment offended me! The whole time, I had forgotten that months before, I had brought in that little note concerning the additional box of Suboxone. I say little because it was written on a Post-It note. It was until I got home that I remembered the note, but by then, they were closed. I searched through my wallet knowing I would have kept it, and sure enough, I found it! I'm going back to Randall's when they open soon, but I'm foreseeing her say offending me again, by suggesting how does she know the Dr actually wrote the note.
ALSO, last month, when she filled my rx for 2 boxes of 12mg films, I got home and discovered she had only given me one box! I immediately called and had to make her see she was wrong and had made a mistake. When I returned for the rest of that prescription, she made comments shifting blame for the mistake away from herself!
As you can see, I've been filling my Suboxone rx's there for some time. So for her to suddenly out of the blue, question it, is absurd. And the one she is questioning is a refill ! They've already filled the current rx once, not to mention the past 6 months! I really think she's showing signs of memory issues, and as a 61 yr old woman myself, I feel that I see that in her. I have trouble myself at times, but when I do remember, I remember in detail! Sorry my complaint is so long, but I felt it was important to give you the whole picture. Thank you,

PS- I have to continue using this pharmacy. So I'd rather she not know I'm sharing with you as I feel it will affect my ability to get prescriptions from her, at all. Of course I'm not getting them now I suppose, but who knows!

Randall's employees being treated badly by department managers with no consequence from the store director

Myself and at least five other employees have taken or complaints about the floral department manager to our store director multiple times and nothing has been done she belittles us she's condescending she calls names she also talks badly about other employees to each other she has on numerous occasions yelled at employees she has told us to work looks like [censor] she has sat there and watched us work extremely hard while she does absolutely nothing and then tells us it's our fault she doesn't get her job done several of us have complained and nothing has been done clearly the store is being sabotaged by upper management because of their lack of give a f myself and at least five other employees have taken or complaints about the floral department manager to our store director multiple times and nothing has been done she belittles us she's condescending she calls names she also talks badly about other employees to each other she has on numerous occasions yelled at employees she has told us to work looks like [censor] she has sat there and watched us work extremely hard while she does absolutely nothing and then tells us it's our fault she doesn't get her job done several of us have complained and nothing has been done clearly the store is being sabotaged by upper management because this untrained woman is still allowed to "manage " this department. She is incompetent and undertrained. She is incapable of unloading and putting away any size shipment the department gets in. She leaves new product in boxes for so long that mold grows and we then have to throw the product away. Myself and others have picture of the molded plants left in the department cooler. When we have holidays or special event ( prom, Easter, Valentine's Day) she does not do any of the prep the department needs to be ready. Nor will she allow anyone else. The Friday before prom when there were 4 people scheduled in the department ( including our amazing designer Bard) she did not allow anyone to make corsages or boutonnieres at all She waited until the day of prom to start making anything. Then was short and condescending to the employees that weee helping. She was flustered bc she had so many orders to do and she didn't leave enough time to get them done. We were the ONLY store in the Lakeway. We caves area still "taking orders" and she refused to make "extras"for people who would be walk-ins. This woman makes working for Randalls a nightmare. And the lack of effort by management to keep this woman from yelling, belittling, talking down to, and putting her hands on people is disgusting. This woman had he no punishment for the way she treats us. She is usable to perform the tasks needed for the department to run properly. She throws away product without distressing it. She make the smallest task take 4 times as long bc she is so scatterbrained she can't complete anything and then blames all of the employees This woman is out of control and it's only a matter of time before she treats a customer this way. The floral department is suffering bc of the "manager" that has been placed there. Something needs to be done before all of the employees walk out.

If you took the complaint to your manager and nothing has been done about it, you can call your HR and file a complaint there.. the number should be posted in the break room by law. You can talk to your co-workers to see if they are also willing to talk and you can give those names to HR. It doesn't have to be sexual to be considered harassment. Talking down at someone or talking about her employees is creating a toxic environment.
