Thai Airways no empathy of your staff

Dear Sir/Madam,

My name is Kwik Sri Kinarsih and I was one of your passanger when I travelled to Frankfurt on August 4-2018 with the booking reference SUNUIU flight number TG921 from Frankfurt to Bangkok and continued with TG433. When I arrived home and opened my check in lugage that wrapped with plastic that I did at Frankfurt Airport. I always decided to wrappe my check in lugage to avoid unpleasant things to be happened.
It was really dissapointed when I request a report thru your Jakarta Office Staff - Mrs. Tjut Hamzah. The way she handles the request without empathy at all. I need the report as a supporting data for me to claim to the travel insurance that I bought.

We are senior citizens. We travelled from Bangkok to Mumbai on 1st Oct by TH317. Firstly it was raining very heavily and there was no aerobridge from the airport to the aircraft, as a result all passengers were packed in a freezing cold bus and taken to the site of the parked aircraft. There the bus waited for about 45 mins packed, freezing and raining and passengers in Buses which arrived much after ours were allowed to embark. It was awful waiting in that bus. At last we got into the aircraft in the heavy rain with just one umbrella for the passengers. On the flight we find that 3 toilets on the rear are not in working condition. The cabin crew looked so hassled, as if a major calamity was about to take place. When dinner was at last served, the senior hostess named Sukipon rudely told passengers “only one drink”. Maybe you have a policy to serve only one drink, but that can be conveyed in a more decent manner. This rude behaviour is prevalent among all Thai air personnel even at the airport. It is only those sales people at the shops and hotels who are very courteous and genteel. This behaviour needs to be addressed immediately and the likes of Sukipon should be corrected.

Thai Airways change departure location

Booking T6QSCS
We need to fly to Bangkok from Jakarta(434) instead of Denpasar (432). Same dates but different departure location.

We have to move from Denpasar to Jakarta because of health problems.
But Bali Thai Office refuse to change the departure location !

We are good clients with Thai Airways and fly every year to Europe, we did even pay this year the fare of our minor grand-children (PJIC8Z).

We trust you can help us as we are old (75 and 71 years old) .

Thai Airways airline flight attendants

Hi,
Would like to make a complaint about a recent flight from Cairns to Bangkok with my girlfriend Lydia the flight was TG466, we were seated at 37E & 37D. First of all I have flown to Asia on many occasions using airlines such a Singapore, British and Quantas and I have never treated such contempt and utter rudeness... aftert being given our meal we got a drink, I then buzzed to get another and was told I would have to the galley and my own drink, I then got out of seat to get a drink and was told if wanted to get a drink for my girlfriend she would have to get up as well! Several hours later I got up to ask for another beer and was told to back to my seat as the second meal was on its way ... on the whole 9 hour flight I cosumed 2 gin and tonic and two beers! Which I had to get myself. This is appalling service and the times I did go to he galley the staff seemed more interested in looking through their bags or playing with there phones, I am so dissatisfied by this flight the only reason I am returning whith Thai Airways is because my return flight is already paid for... I will not be flying with Thai Airways again in the future...

Regards Eli Every

Thai Airways flight crew safety check

I was on flight TG 607 business class from Hong Kong to Bangkok on July 26, 2018 seated in seat 11 J.My ticket number was [protected].and the paid fare was HKD 3798. On approach to Bangkok a brief announcement and safety check was done. However the flight attendant passed right by me and said nothing. Not only was my hand luggage out of place but my seat was partially reclined and I was struggling to put it upright. .i called them but was ignored as they all sat down and were laughing. I tried and tried to put the seat up myself as it was stuck but badly cut my hand in the process. On Landing it was still in a semi reclined position .The crew really did not care about ignoring procedures and putting passengers lives in jeopardy. Their only inadequate response was to give me a bandaid as I left the aircraft bleeding profusely. In order to make this situation right the responsible crew should be reprimanded and retrained and due to my injury and experience my fare should be fully refunded. In the USA under FAA rules the crew committed a crime and should be punished.

Thai Airways refused/avoided to sell on flight duty free

I was flying back from Bangkok to Dhaka on 21st July, Flight No. TG 339 and my seat no. was D-53. After the meal was served I have selected 3 items from your on flight list of the products and added to my cart.

I called a crew and requested to see those items and I told her if it is problem for her to bring those to my seat, I may go in front in a convenient space. Then she took me to in front and ask his manager (maybe) about the items. He then told me that after 35 minutes they will show me those and meanwhile they confirmed me whether I will buy those or only see (very insulting!). I assured them that at least I will take one for sure. Then I went back to my seat.

With all my surprises, no one came to me as we were closure to Dhaka and are descending, I called again and remind the purchase. Then she told me that, they descending and not possible to sell anything now. I have requested in all my ways because I had a commitment to my daughter that I will buy this bracelet for her on my way back to Dhaka (I chose that on the way to Bangkok in the same flight on 17th July and confirmed her!).

Even after landing I have asked that gentleman to arrange for me as he forgot or neglected by request. But, all went in vain and I failed to bring that for my daughter, which was very painful for me and I am entirely blaming the attitudes of that crew and their failure to serve a simple requested allowing ampule of time in advance. Here, this may be mentioned that, I use to fly quite often and it's my practice to buy something from the airline onboard shop and I have never faced such negligence from any of the airlines worldwide.

I would request you to let me know why it was done with me and how can I get that item anyhow.

Thanks and regards,

Rezaul Karim

Thai Airways customer experience - wife's name

Firstly, I am extremely disappointed with trying to make a complaint to Thai airways and am not able to. The website has no mechanism for customers to make complaints, the feedback form on the website does not work for Mac users, which is extremely poor, and considering the amount of money customer's are spending with Thai airways, a reliable and efficient feedback tool should a minimal requirement. It shouldn't take me 6 hours on Saturday to find out how to make a simple customer complaint.

Secondly, I wanted to make a complaint about a recent issue we have experienced as a newly wed couple. We have booked our honeymoon in March and booked a flight with Thai Airways, and have been looking forward to our first holiday as a married couple. As we have recently got married, my wife's wanted to take my surname and it would have been special to have our first married trip together with new passports with her new name, to celebrate our new beginning together. However, we can't do that, because Thai airways won't allow us to change my wife's name on the ticket, despite knowing her maiden name. Whilst I know they will respond informing me of some legal rubbish and that it's in the T&Cs etc etc, but considering many newly wed couple must use Thai airways for their honeymoon, I would have thought common sense would prevail and it is reasonable to expect you would have a customer friendly service for this situation allowing a partner to take a new surname. I'm disappointed to say the least. Thanks to Thai airways we are beginning our honeymoon with frustration.

Thai Airways damage and loss of property

I travelled from Perth to New Delhi on 19.06.2018. After reaching my place, when i checked my luggage, I found out that the lock of my bag was broken and all the items in my bag were misplaced and some Indian Currency i had in my bag, was missing. I am really disappointed in the way my luggage was handled. Is that a kind of customer service your airline provides? Do you think we will recommend your airline to anyone, for the kind of service you provided ?

Thai Airways flight from brisbane to london

Hi, flew with you from Brisbane to London however when I got to Bangkok I looked at my boarding pass and it said 00:55 on the 7th when it was supposed to be at 12:40 on the 6th. After realising this, I went to the desk and the lady said my flight was correct as my flight had been cancelled on the 1st! I hadn't received any email or message saying that it had been cancelled. Even tho I did get put up in a hotel, I had to wait 19 hours for the flight. Then when I did get on the flight we were all squished in and it was the most uncomfortable flight I've been on, plus we only got fed twice on a 12 hour plane journey! I had an important appointment to get to which I was unable to make due to the flight being cancelled and if has now been rescheduled to the 4th of July, so would you be able to change my flights till after this date?
Thanks
Sally

Thai Airways stolen & damaged item in suitcase

G111 may 31

Seat 44a

Baggage no. tg 016999
Booking number ocl9w7

Chiang ma/ cnx - bangkok/ bkk

Tg mq57295 base

To whom it may concern,
I was on flight tg 111 on may 31 at 14:50, ticket number etktt [protected]. when traveling, i always take photos of my suitcase after i pack to have evidence of what is in it. so, i was really upset to find that once arrived at my hotel, adelphi forty-nine, and opened my suitcase that my travel pillow was missing and two of my personal items were wet. your personal is responsible for this situation. for whatever reason, they failed to return my travel pillow to my suitcase. additionally, failed to provide an explanation as to why it was removed and my items were wet or to compensate me for my loss. is this how you treat your american customers?

This is unacceptable, disrespectful, and unprofessional. i'm currently looking through my entire suitcase to see what else has been stolen. i have never experienced anything like this in my travels. i want to be compensated for my lost items.

If i have to i will post this incident on all social media, travel website, and complaint outlets until thai airways replaced what was lost or damaged in my suitcase.

Thai Airways irresponsible service/stuck for 10 hrs in the airport

Hi,

Im really disappointed with your service, im supposed to board flight TG518 on 12th May 2018 at 8:55pm. Unfortunately, after 2 hours it was declared as cancelled. We were informed that next flight is at 9pm the next day (very convenient!). They have informed us that they will book a hotel accommodation and transpo for us, problem is my mother is on visit visa and she cannot go out of the airport anymore. They have informed us that they can arranged us for a booking on EK at 2:50am, they advised us to go and wait at Terminal 3. Again, unfortunate things happen we are 4 people travelling and only 2 people was booked til the flight was closed. Then they booked us again on the next flight (3:40am flight, which by the way is totally empty as per EK staff), this time the other 2 were booked and the previous 2 were not. We are family travelling with a child and a senior. We are so tired, sleepy and hungry at the same time. None of the management is willing to talk or assist us only they sent their 1 staff named Mia (who cannot give us a proper answer). We have to come back again to Terminal 1 just to reach to a Thai Airways representative. We are totally exhausted, Im sending this complaint at exactly 4am now, still we are stuck in the airport. This is totally UNACCEPTABLE! We are VERY DISAPPOINTED! The excitement that were supposed to have is gone, the happiness that were supposed to have is gone, how can you compensate us with the trouble, the exhaustedness, all the pain that your company has caused my family? It totally ruined our vacation! How can your company be so cruel to us! We have been waiting for 8hrs straight now!

Thai Airways reservations

I need to submit an official complaint over the frustrations I have faced today with Thai Airways and I swear never to fly it again. I will be posting my experience in all social media.
I have bought 3 business class tickets online form the official websithttp://www.thaiairways.comboookign reference Kke6rc
I suddenly faced an emergency situation and wanted to leave one day earlier- which means the 5th instead of the 6th. I called up Denpasar and Jakarta several times but no one answered and phone kept on ringing. I have full record of the calls I made on my phone.
Then I called Thai airways main office in Bangkok and was utterly shocked to hear the staff saying that since the flight starts from DPS I can only ask them to do any changes even though the ticket was purchased onlien from your own official website! Even a budget airline in India would be more efficient than Thai airways. They told me to email them urgently in Denpasar or Jakarta and I sent 4 urgent emails but never got a reply!
At that time the seats were available.
Finally after hours of trying I managed to get the Denpasar staff pick up the phone and then at that time they said there were no seats! I suffered immense fristraiton as I had to reach Bangkok by anyway. I then tried checking again online and found the seats were now showing available. I decided to buy 3 new tickets just to travel by anyway and then ask for refund of the original ones. Again it did not allow me to pay on line and after I entered my card details it went back to the booking page and gave me the option to pay at the thai airways office. I confirmed the booking - Wrjhar and decided to go to the airport to pay tomorrow. Now to my shock I called up Thai in Bangkok and was told it is not possible to buy at the airport nor would the city office be open tomorrow as it was a weekend! I have lost my health and my blood pressure has been damaged with the stress I faced . I have had to buy tickets from other airlines just in order to reach my destination tomorrow. I need to cancel my previous tickets and get a full refund without any cancellation fees for the stress and inconvenience I have faced.

Thai Airways request for recovery of stolen euro 800 during the flight

Dear Sir,
I have traveled to Canton from Karachi via Bangkok on TG-342 dated 20th Jan 2018 from Karachi to Bangkok and than on TG-668 dated 21st Jan from Bangkok to Canton. My seat no was 41 F from Karachi to Bangkok.

I had put my wallet in my handbag and I put my handbag in the over head bin above my seat. When I arrived Bangkok, I got of the plane and moved to departure lounge to get my connecting flight to Bangkok.

I checked my wallet in the departure lounge and found that there is only left Euro 50 and someone had stolen Euro 800 during the flight from Karachi to Bangkok from my handbag while I was sleeping.

Please advise what kind of help you can provide to recover my lost money in the flight. For your information, I am your frequent flyer having silver card GA 08465 and this has happened first time in my life.

Awaiting your response,

Thanking you,
Yours truly,

Thai Airways wheelchair passenger

Reference is made to the PNR no KA5ASR, my mother Mrs Kamla Udharam Panjwani along with my son Gunhaar Panjwani travelled on Mar 9 in Business class. Although specific wheel chair request was made and very disappointingly at the Thai airport they were made to wait in the aircraft for 1 hour and after that they were forced to use stair case. She is 84 years old lady and is under extreme pain owing the stepping down and trauma while coming out of aircraft. She is traveling back to jakarta and I want a written confirmation that you will be decent enough to take care of an Elderly Lady and a Business class passenger. I am very dismayed and shocked at your attitude and behavior. I reserve my rights to take the matter to my lawyer and social media. An immediate response shall be highly appreciated.
I can be reached on Bangkok number till Mar 13 nite @ +66 [protected] or on my Jakarta number @ +62 - [protected]

Thai Airways inconvenience caused due to thai airways

Hi Team,

This is Geoffrey Nikhil Paul writing to you.

I have traveled with Thai airlines on 18/12/2017 from Melbourne to Hyderabad (ie Melbourne to Bangkok - Bangkok to Hyderabad).

The flight that was supposed to take off at 15:30 pm on 18/12/2017 from Melbourne airport was delayed and it ended up taking off by 12:30 a.m on 19/12/2017,
It was completely unprofessional that your staff never bothered to intimate me via email or phone about this delay, Like you have intimated a few other passengers prior to their arrival at the airport.

To make things worse, before I boarding the flight at Melbourne airport, THAI airways staff informed me that my checked in baggage was not going to arrive with me to Hyderabad and they were unsure if I had to collect my luggage at Bangkok airport or Delhi airport. On probing the issue, I was sent to another counter where a female staff member who could not speak in proper English, played a dirty game by telling me a lie that she solved my issue and I could collect my luggage at Hyderabad airport on my arrival as per my baggage claim receipt.

The point to be noted here is that I was meant to travel from
melbourne to bangkok & bangkok to hyderabad.
however, i was made to travel from
melbourne - bangkok, bangkok to delhi & delhi to hyderabad.

On reaching Bangkok airport the staff advised me to collect my luggage at Delhi airport, clear customs and again check in my luggage before boarding the flight to Hyderabad. However, on reaching Delhi airport my checked in luggage could not be found. I was made to fill in a missing/lost luggage claim form. The staff at Delhi airport asked me to double check for my luggage at Hyderabad airport on my arrival as they could not trace it on their records as yet.

Once I reached Hyderabad my luggage could not be traced. Bad enough I reached Hyderabad by 15:30 pm on 19/12/2017 instead of reaching by 12.25 am. Which is a loss of one whole day. After a series of phone calls, I received my luggage at my residence on 22/12/2017, which is 3 days after my arrival. This is not at all acceptable.

The damages caused to me by THAI airways are:
1.I have lost one whole day of my unpaid leave due to the flight delay,
2.I had to spend money to buy a suit for a wedding that I had to attend, I had to buy my clothes as myluggage did not arrive until three days of my arrival.
3.The stress and inconvenience caused due to increased hours of travel.

I am looking forward on receiving a compensation from THAI airlines for the inconvenience they put me through.

With this complaint I am attaching my flight ticket, boarding passes and the missing baggage form. Kindly do the needful.

Kind Regards,
Geoffrey Nikhil Paul.
