Another thing that sector Mumbai Bangkok the Husband and wife are seating separately in middle seat. Don't you think this is illogical.
All seats are given middle one which are totally uncomfortable for senior citizens like us.

Is Thai Airways Legit?
Thai Airways earns a trustworthiness rating of 91%
Highly recommended, but caution will not hurt.
We found clear and detailed contact information for Thai Airways. The company provides a physical address, 27 phone numbers, and 2 emails, as well as 4 social media accounts. This demonstrates a commitment to customer service and transparency, which is a positive sign for building trust with customers.
Thaiairways.com has a valid SSL certificate, which indicates that the website is secure and trustworthy. Look for the padlock icon in the browser and the "https" prefix in the URL to confirm that the website is using SSL.
Thaiairways.com has been deemed safe to visit, as it is protected by a cloud-based cybersecurity solution that uses the Domain Name System (DNS) to help protect networks from online threats.
Thai Airways as a website that uses an external review system. While this can provide valuable feedback and insights, it's important to carefully evaluate the source of the reviews and take them with a grain of salt.
According to our analysis, Thai Airways appears to be offering travel services on their website. While many travel companies are legitimate, it's important to be cautious and do your research before booking a trip to ensure that you are getting a good deal and not falling victim to a scam.
We looked up Thai Airways and found that the website is receiving a high amount of traffic. This could be a sign of a popular and trustworthy website, but it is still important to exercise caution and verify the legitimacy of the site before sharing any personal or financial information
However ComplaintsBoard has detected that:
- While Thai Airways has a high level of trust, our investigation has revealed that the company's complaint resolution process is inadequate and ineffective. As a result, only 16% of 142 complaints are resolved. The support team may have poor customer service skills, lack of training, or not be well-equipped to handle customer complaints.
- Thai Airways protects their ownership data, a common and legal practice. However, from our perspective, this lack of transparency can impede trust and accountability, which are essential for establishing a credible and respected business entity.
- We conducted a search on social media and found several negative reviews related to Thai Airways. These reviews may indicate issues with the company's products, services, or customer support. It is important to thoroughly research the company and its offerings before making any purchases to avoid any potential risks.
Overweight baggage inconsistency
I flew Japan Airlines from USA to BKK then Thai Airways to CNX for a rest period before continuing to India. I was charged at BKK $20.63 US dollar for overweight baggage. I flew back early from Chiang Mai due to my brother dying in USA so I flew CNX back to BKK and was charged $86.86 USD for my baggage which weighed less. Very shocking surprise. I am now...

Read full review of Thai Airwaysun-informed delay of thai airways (tg324) flight on 29th june 2023 from delhi to bangkok
My name is Dr Sumit Khetarpal, M.B.B.S, M.D (Internal Medicine), Director- Deptt of Internal Medicine, Max Super Speciality Hospital, - Mohali, India. I had booked Thai AIrways flight from New Delhi to Bangkok for 29th June 2023 to attend the IPPA (International Panel Physician Association) Workshop, in Bangkok, Thailand.
My THAI AIRWAYS FLIGHT DETAILS are as under:
1) Flight from New Delhi to Bangkok on 29th June 2023:
Delhi (DEL IN Terminal 3) to Bangkok (Suvarnabhumi Intl Arpt (BKK)) by Thai Airways (TG324), PNR Number: 6WOM4Z, Booking Reference: 4RQ6MQ, E-Ticket No [protected], FLIGHT INFO : Boeing 777-200. , Seat -36 B, Sequence No 21, ETKT217170759865601
Departure: at 11:40 AM, 29th June 2023 from Delhi Indira Gandhi Intl (DEL) Delhi, IN Terminal 3
Arrival:at 5.35 pm, 29th June 2023 at Suvarnabhumi Intl Arpt (BKK), Bangkok, TH2).
However, The above said flight was more than 4 hours late and it started after 4.00 PM (Indian Time) and landed at Bangkok at 10.15 pm (Bangkok Time).
There was no official intimation made or any explanation given by the Thai Airways for this long delay, neither through any telephonic message, nor any e-mail, nothing... The flight kept on delaying, causing chaos at the airport. No one was aware when the flight was about to start and it was a harassing experience.
I had an very important Business meeting Scheduled at 7.45 PM with international delegates, which i was supposed to attend to make a presentation of my proposal, but due to this un-informed delay, i could not attend it, causing me lot of mental tension and financial loss, defying my very purpose of visit. Neither, I could pre-inform them. because I myself did not know when the flight was supposed to start and at what time it would land in Bangkok.
I had not expected such a bad state of affairs with such a reputed flight service , i.e " Thai Airways' ', whom I had selected over other flights due to its reputation and services, inspite of being charged higher. But, it was truly a horrifying experience.
I therefore call upon you to refund my flight ticket amount i.e Rs 20,502, booked through clear trip against their Trip ID [protected] , Ticket No. [protected], Cleartrip eReceipt No. P/MH/[protected], booked on 10th June 2023; because your un-informed delay has caused me a loss of business opportunity resulting in significant financial loss.

Very poor customer support
Four times I have filed complaints for missing flight credit, ZERO response after 2 months of repeatedly filing my report along with boarding passes. The contact numbers they have in my country don’t work, seems impossible to get a feedback. What’s infuriating is I took flight in biz class, and without consultation they also charge me $240 for 6kg excess baggage.
Thai Airways used to have great customer support, or maybe that was only when I was a Gold member
Desired outcome: Simple, just credit my mileage and provide response

Dear Rebecca and Thai airway
I want to complain about my luggage got damaged during my flight from Pakistan (Islamabad to Bangkok on 15/02/2023) TG350 + then Bangkok to Singapore on TG403 on 16/02/2023
please find the picture attached I already pack extra and also do the plastic raping at the airport. but still because of mishandling got damaged/broken my stove and can not use it at all.
(my luggage ticket no are TG-253556, 253555, 253554) one of them only damage.
Secondly, I have to bring up this very important and serious issue to Thai airway management about the boarding passes counter staff at Islamabad airport.
mostly they are very root especially counter 11 (person name Haider) even they do not know the difference between the Singapore Employment pass and the Permanent resident NRIC and they will just tell you this is not the Singapore NRIC, its green colour, but they don't know that Singapore Permanent resident NRIC is Blue in colour and unnecessary they will argue and refuse to issue the boarding pass. The funny and worst thing, they will be so proud and rude
Thirdly you can see in the email from your previous reply email, that you mention that the Hand carry is 7kg without the laptop bag (Hand carry 7kg does not include the laptop bag.)
but when I go to counter 11 (person name Haider) does weigh my laptop bag together with hand carry and does not allow me and give a total laptop and hand carry weight 10kg then I have to remove all my power banks laptop and handphone charger/cable to make it the laptop and hand carry bags up to 10kg and he was so rude and west my 30minut requesting him but he not allow me even 100grams which to me is very offensive and very serious lucky I have all the recording and conversation if Thai airway never takes action about this I will give it to the media and put it online.
I was very offset and lost some of my kid's jewellery during taking out things from my Laptop bag because of the way, he was so rude and used offensive words.
when I open my luggage at home found one thing so badly damaged your staff also has taken a photo at the Islamabad counter that how I pack and rap.
So please take serious action about this man Haider and also do something about my goods damaged/broken.
Lastly, the main thing is not only I complain mostly those who travel from Pakistan/Islamabad through the Thai airway everybody has the same issue, the attitude of the Thai airway staffs at Islamabad airport. I already ask those who I know got counter with Islamabad Thai airway staff to write to Thai Airways some of them already complain.
If you people cannot do anything about this matter specially to like Haider kind of people. It's ok nothing will happen to Thai Airway only I together with my friend and family will lose trust in Thai Airway. small people also make a difference in the long term, the rest is off to Thai Airway.

We had purchased 2 airline tickets for myself and my mother aged 60 and 79 respectively to travel from Hyderabad to Melbourne via Bangkok on the 5th of January and return on the 11th of March. The ticket was booked on the 1st of November, 2022. For this transaction, I was charged twice by OneCard credit card- Federal Bank which is still being sorted out.
Unfortunately, there were minor spelling errors in the passengers' names, which were corrected by Thai Airways after 45 days of persuasion and followed up, charging 30 dollars for each passenger.
But the changes had come in the form of a new ticket which was reflected in the app too. Still, on the day of travel, 5th Jan 2023, the Hyderabad Airport Thai Airway passenger list had omitted my mother's name from the list which included a lot of effort by the airport at the last minute.
After the visit to Australia, we tried web check-in a day before which was refused by the Airways as both of us had opted for a wheelchair facility(Me with diabetes and Parkinson's disease, and my mother age 79 with severe knees problem and 2 walking sticks). Upon reaching the airport 4 hours before, my mother's name was omitted from the passenger list totally initially, my name was shown in the passenger list but also to be told later that only my ticket was canceled without any intimation to me in the form of email or SMS. This means even though we had legally valid tickets with booking numbers as references to them being confirmed, the Australian airport passenger list was not reflecting our names, hence we were not allowed to go to passenger check-in or report for a personal check. it was a totally shocking and devastating moment for us. This also cost us to buy new tickets at short notice at a price of 1500 Australian dollars, which needs to be compensated along with 1,10,000 Rupees from Thai Airways and avoidable double trips e cab expense of Au 500$.
The response of Thai Airways was also lackluster shifting the reimbursement responsibility to the Delhi office, which was not at all responded
Sir, I request you to kindly deliver justice in my favor considering the harrowing experience both of us had to undergo and incur a financial loss.

Useless customer service - abandoned me in UAE
I had a business class flight scheduled on Dec 12 2022 … Manchester > Copenhagen - Bangkok and return flight Dec 27 2022 …
SAS Airlines left Manchester over an hour late..
When I arrived in Copenhagen to get the connecting flight for Bangkok we were 10 minutes too late and the flight had gone..
SAS Airlines provided me with a new itinerary the same day being … Copenhagen (SAS) > London (BA) > Dubai (EM) > Bangkok.
I returned from Copenhagen to London..
We were over 2 hours late leaving London,
We arrived in Dubai late and was informed the flight had gone.
Emirates then informed me that I had to speak with Thai Air to get another flight issued.
I spent over an hour phoning Thai Air (BKK) with nobody picking up the phone.
I then spoke with Thai Air (Dubai) who informed me that they did not have any alternative flights and suggested that I buy a new ticket and then claim the funds back later.
I then paid £1279.43 for a Kuwaiti Airline flight out of Dubai > Kuwaiti > Bangkok...
Whilst in Dubai I checked with Kuwaiti Airlines regards my baggage and they informed me that it had not arrived from London and they would locate it and forward to my Bangkok address the following day.
My baggage never arrived despite me completing lost baggage forms at Thai Air Bangkok.. BA (LHR) and SAS (Copenhagen. I arrived back home 28.12.2022..
Thai Air abandoned me in Dubai …

but when I go to counter 11 (person name Haider) does weigh my laptop bag together with hand carry and does not allow me and give a total laptop and hand carry weight 10kg then I have to remove all my power banks laptop and handphone charger/cable to make it the laptop and hand carry bags up to 10kg and he was so rude and west my 30minut requesting him but he not allow me even 100grams which to me is very offensive and very serious lucky I have all the recording and conversation if Thai airway never takes action about this I will give it to the media and put it online.

Flights rescheduled by Thai Airways which make connections impossible
In November we booked flights online LHR to Samui via Bangkok with Thai Airways for June 2023. Confirmation arrived with no obvious problems.
December 29th we had emails rescheduling the flights on the Bangkok to Samui sectors.
Immediately saw that our flight arrived in Bangkok at 1500 hrs but we were now listed for the 1500 departure to Samui. The return Samui flight July 2023 now departed 45 minutes later which allowed only 45 minutes to disembark and clear security and passport control.
We immediately emailed to Thai customer services but only had an auto response saying they were busy so response may be slower than normal .
That was seven weeks ago. Meanwhile I have tried calling the tel numbers available for Thai offices in UK but none answer. Have sent various emails and messages but nothing.
Have always had good experiences before with Thai Airways, but this time !
Desired outcome: I would like a Thai rep to contact me or for suggestion for a Thai Airways email address which responds and not just auto. Or a telephone number for Thai Airways which is answered.
On board service, check in process, communication problem
My Booking Ref is (64bguq- Kumar) travelling Syd- Del and del- Syd Return.
I was extremely unhappy from a service Thai Airways Offered. My Return From Delhi was on 03 Feb 0020 Hrs. Please Note when i actually booked the ticket i booked the ticket for 3 Feb at 11:10 am which was rescheduled by Thai airways for which i was unhappy and i sent an email to them for which i have never received a response so far. When i reached airport for my return at Delhi flight and i checked the screen there was no information about flight delay which was never announced via PA System. The staff said they displayed on screen at 2030 hrs and and i reached airport at 2000 hrs approx. i received a reschedule of the flight from 0020 hrs to 0220 at around 2200 hrs which is too late. the screen information that staff claimed was displayed but the queue was so long that i did not even see from the spot and by the time i reach there it was already around 2100 and i was given boarding time arounf 0140 and flight estimate to fly around 0220. The Staff should have used PA system but it was not used. when a person missing from airport usually staff uses PA system in the same way, the PA system could have been used. before boarding, the staff was saying something to few passengers which i could not hear again i complaint if it is general information please use PA system . After getting on board, the Crew Member did not offer food to me and my wife. They Forgot to serve us which i raised issue and they blamed i was sleeping which was false as they offer food to my kids and i was helping my kids to eat which was verified by supervisor. Since the crew forgot to offer food, the poor method of communication was being used and assumed that customers have no choice but to accept the service does not just withstand in todays world. Therefore, i request to kindly refund the reasonable amount as i did not eat on flight for which i paid the service and harassment caused by the staff who choses not to announce any delay related information only delay information was dispplayed and that too after i joined the queue which was too long to be seen from far. it was also too late to receive delay related information.
Desired outcome: Refund the amount $500 per passenger booked under same booking2 adults and 2 kids
Rude flight attendant and substandard food
Thai airways is probably the worst airline I have flown with during the last 10 years. I had a misfortune of using it to fly from BKK to Korea. The flight attendants are so vulgar and lack courtesy and outright ignorant. I put my small bag under the seat which is very traditional and the flight was not even half full and there is no one sitting with me. I sit in 61 K which is the last roll. Then comes an old male attendant Side eyeing me and then without saying hello walk right past me and then opens the overhead bin and barks at me to come out my small bag in there. I say NO, the bag is fine where it is and I prefer to have it under my seat. Then I realize that this is a a gay queen flight attendant who wants to act out at me because to show that he has power. I am very insistent in keeping my small bag and yell back at this fool to tell him that ny bag is fine and I prefer he [censored]s off. He then look at me and say ok fine then. I thought to myself who is this fool to come order a passenger who is in his right to put a bag under the seat. Then when it comes to serving good, they assume everyone on the place is Thai or something because they never bother to try to speak English. I have to tell them to speak enough because I don’t understand and I find it rude to not use an international language on the international flight. Most of the flight attendants are so old and look like they are too grumpy to want to be there to work. The food I had was very bad. Bland noodle with shrimp. It seems the quality of the food has gone downhill. And oh they never serve soft drink anymore. The whole 6 hrs flight time they only serve one breakfast and that’s it. Or they might purposefully ignore me because of the earlier incident with the queer attendant. Then when it’s time for them to distribute custom form and health form they completely didn’t bother to give me the health form to fill. In fact half of the plane weren’t given the form. They simply have it in their hands and walk up and down the isle like idiots without speaking or asking or informing what form it was and how important it was. So half of the plane got stuck at the immigration and had to waste time to fill the form and it took me another 40 mins to do that due to many flights landed at the same time. So I hate Thai airways so much so that I vow to never fly again with them. Despicable service.
Desired outcome: To have ppl retrained and learn how to service better and also better food and drinks as well. I would love an apology. I have the pictures of the rude attendant if u need. I actually uploaded his pic here.
Lack of confirmation for assistance
For around 6 weeks now, both my husband and I have been trying to contact Thai Air. We require assistance on our upcoming flight from Heathrow to Phuket, as my husband has no use of his arms and his balance is impaired.
We have e mailed almost every day without a response. Are you able to set assistance in place for us?
We fly on Sunday 5th February Business Class from Heathrow to Phuket via Bangkok flight leaving at around 12 noon
My husband Tahir Air no NG 52235
Kenneth James Sanders
Desired outcome: Hopefully you will be able to confirm assistance has been put into place for my husband
We had the same problem back in September 2022 with Thai Air, Contact Heathrow direct by calling this number if you get future problems:
You will be able to book for special assistance to help you ahead of your upcoming trip through Heathrow by contacting our third party provider Omniserv. We ask that you call [protected], where one of their agents will be able to take your details and then proceed to making the necessary arrangements to make your journey through Heathrow a relaxed and comforting one. This service is free.
Lost luggage
I have sent a number of emails to customer services about our suitcase that did not arrive at the reclaim belt when we returned from holiday back in May. We reported it to the lost luggage counter for Thai Airways before we left the airport but as of today 29/12/2022 the only reply from Thai Airways has been a couple of automated replies to say they have got my email and will respond as soon as they can.
After not getting a reply from Thai Airways I put in a claim on my holiday insurance but they need a letter from Thai Airways to say that they cannot find the suitcase, all I want from Thai Airways is a letter to say that they cannot find it so that I can continue with my claim from the insurance company.
Date we returned was 3/5/22 at 07-45
A. Mapes
Desired outcome: A letter from you to say that you cannot find our suitcase

Food in the flight
After booking the vegetarian meal.
I was given a bun and butter in the plane from Melbourne to Delhi. The crew asked if I want chicken or salmon. Being a vegetarian I don’t eat meat and asked the crew for any vegetarian option. I was offered Haldiram Daal Ready To Eat. After some argument I was able to get some rice. Absolute idiots, after everything was done and 2 hours passed by, the staff realised their mistake and fake apology was offered. I don’t understand why they didn’t gave me a proper meal first time. I will avoid them for next visit.
Desired outcome: Check the passenger list and provide proper meal
