On 10/6/25, we went to Texas roadhouse and I had a gift card from a friend for my birthday for $25, when time to pay the bill my gift card only covered the tip and did not pay for my birthday meal. Called the manager over and he said there was nothing he could do and it was applied to the total bill. Sorry buy that was a birthday gift and I do not feel it should only have gone toward the tip before even paying the bill. I will never use that gizmo on the table again because I lost out on my birthday gift card so it was a slap in the face to me. I would have appreciated an adjustment of some type and never gave me the option to chose the amount of tip either.

Desired outcome: I would like have been able to apply my birthday gift card to my meal ! Now I feel like I never got my birthday meal.
