Terrible evening Monday, May 19th, 2025 at Texas Roadhouse Elk Grove CA.! I took my friend out for her Birthday dinner, she just turned 45. We do not drink and drive so we took Lyft. We had 2 vodka tonics and 1 Kamikaze shot. We were taking it slow to just enjoy the evening. Our waiter suggested that we try a lemon drop drink, we said OK. We ordered our appetizers and our steak dinner. Next our waiter comes back and says he can not serve us any more alcoholic drinks. What? We were respectable, not loud or creating any problems. The waiter suggested we try the lemon drop earlier. The Manager comes over and rudely says we can have no further drinks. I cancelled our dinner order, paid for the drinks/appetizers and took Lyft home. Terrible experience for my friends innocent Birthday dinner!

They hyped up the drinks, pushed the lemon drop — then slammed the brakes like you were causing a scene, when you weren’t. That’s not responsible service, that’s insulting and tone-deaf. You were being chill, respectful, celebrating responsibly, and they killed the vibe for no reason. You did right walking out — they didn’t deserve your dinner money or your night.
Me and my friend decided to go to TR here in Enid, OK on Saturday ... there was quite a crowd and we were told it would be a 10-20min wait... OK, no problem, we sat on the bench out front, then we were called in about 10 min later only to be told to stand at a certain place, we stood there at least another 15min!... Um, no, they should not call you to come in and stand around!... call us in when our table is ready, not to just stand around all that time, we would have been happier waiting on the bench outside!... food was great though, but our waitress didn't listen when we told her we didn't want our steaks until after we finished our salads because the food came out when we weren't halfway through...
