We have been in contact with the repair person since June 9th, promising that my issue was being addressed: my mailbox was destroyed by them pulling in cable. I was told that they couldn't get a hold of the field officer, then finally told on July 7th that the right size was being ordered through Amazon.
Then on July 18th, the conversation revealed that the same person I had been talking to all this time was lying to me, because he said that the contractor and field manager were on site looking at and measuring for the box size. The very one they had supposedly ordered from Amazon.
I have all the pictures and can prove that they did the damage; we have received two notices now, and the post office is getting impatient with the situation.
Just talked to someone, and they will refer me to a contractor I wasn't supposed to be talking to tech support; they informed me. What a waste of time.
I am filing this complaint incase this information i wrong too.
Desired outcome: Replace the right-sized mailbox we had installed and lift it to the correct height. The mailbox from Menards was: 24 4/5 inches deep by 11 2/3 width. The correct height 45" to 48" from the pavement.seems it won't let me upload photos

That is a textbook case of a company hoping you will just give up and go away. You have done the right thing by documenting everything with photos and dates. Here is the practical path: call TDS corporate directly, not tech support, and ask for the "Construction Damage Claims" department. Tell them you have photos, two post office notices, and a recorded timeline of lies. Demand a written confirmation of the repair date within 48 hours. Also, file a complaint with your state's Public Service Commission, because telecommunications companies are regulated and hate those complaints. In the meantime, go to your local post office and explain the situation with a copy of your documented timeline, so they do not hold your mail. You are not wrong here, so stay firm.
