Product not included in order and process taking too long to resolve
I, Deon Strauss, id nr [protected], placed an order for a VIZIA WiFi UPS 28 000mWh, (Order # [protected]) which on the add included the following:
* Minu UPS 12v
* Splitter Cable
* DC Cables
* DC Adapters
* Voltage Converter
which arrived on the 17th of March 2021. Due to loadshed, I opened to use it, only to find that the Voltage Converter, was not in the package that I received. I dropped Takealot an email on 19 March 2021 and brought it under the attention of Takealot. I was requested to give more details and complete on the system which I did. I was issued with a Ticket Ref #[protected] nr on 19 March 2021. On 20 March 2021, I received another email from David Vaphi asking me how I would rate the service I received, after which I brought it under Takealot's attention once again, that I was not satisfied. ON 20 March, one of your consultants, David asked me to send photos of my order, which I did. I was then handed over to Zinthle N, who apologized, and was told she is escalating to the warehouse, and she will be in contact with me once the warehouse returns with more information from their side, and she will revert back as soon as possible. On 23 March, Zinthle N send me an email again, to indicate that she is still chasing up with the warehouse and will revert back soonest. On 25 March, I dropped Zinthle N an email to ask if there is feedback yet, no reply received. On 29 March, I send another email and requested feedback, and on 29 March, I received feedback from Marlon Francis to indicate that it should be treated as a NOT WHAT I ORDERED scenario, and I should log a return on the website on my profile, which I did. I was further advised that only if there is stock that I would receive my correct order, or my account will be credited. I responded to Marlon and indicated that I don't fully agree with his NOT WHAT I ORDERED scenario, as the add was very clear and all parts on the add should have been delivered as per order. I stated that I was getting annoyed, because my children are homeschooling and with loadshed, miss classes, so I urgently need the matter to be resolved. I was bombarded with emails and requested response, which I gave but the matter just went on in circles. Marlon came back to me on 30 March to state that he apologize for the inconvenience and he is trying to resolve. On 30 March 2021, I received an email from Trevene Scholtz to state that my order was received after it was picked up to be send back. I was once again asked to supply photos of the product, the packaging received, the bar code etc. Which I supplied. On 3 April 2021, I received another email asking me the RRN nr and procedure to return. The return nr I was given was RRN-7bb4-5f94 to put on the box. Which I did. On 7 April 2021, I received an email to rate the support received. You can see clearly, up to now, there is no support. It is going in circles, no credit, return, refund, proper feedback. I am constantly in contact, asking for feedback, and every time I get another consultant to deal with... The item was received back in the Warehouse on 30 March already! ON 7 April, Trevene Scholtz came back to say that the warehouse confirmed that the stock that I send back was correct. The return has been approved and the courier will contact me to discuss replacement / credit or refund. On 7 April I indicated that I would prefer a refund to original account used, and an apology for the inconvenience, and in my mind, the matter was resolved and I was expecting my refund. On 12 April 2021 I followed up on my payment, and was informed by Trisha R that failed to notify Takealot within 7 days as per your policy and my return and request for refund was declined. I phoned them this afternoon and YES! it was DECLINED, because I FAILED TO RESOLVE WITHIN 7 DAYS? How do you get to that? I was in constant communication, did all the things I was required to do, send photos, return product, answer all the mails, jump through hoops on my side, and I was informed I took to long? hi, I originally ordered 2x Samsung galaxy A20 gel cases, but today I received 4x tempered glass for Samsung A20...(IPG058), that have stickers on saying its the Shockproof gel case for Samsung A20...which it clearly isn't. I've not opened/tampered with them, but want to return them (as I've not ordered them; the product is incorrect; and the Samsung A20's that were ordered at the same time as the A20 Samsung shockproof gel cases - is not available, so a different order has been made.)..and have my account credited with the R120 please.
Please confirm this is done and how this product can be returned.

I bought a set of bar stools in February and upon delivery, I found that there were parts missing.
I only attempted to attend to the matter last month as I was out for duty, only to be adviced that I was suppose to have read T&C first. I have been buying on takealot for so many times and I have never been disappointed.
Since my attempt I have been trying to find the missing parts but to no success.

Bubblegum tablet
We bought a tablet for our daughters birthday in July 2020.
When we received it we noticed that it didn't charge properly and we sent it back. They sent "a new one" which was actually the same tablet and still had a charging problem.
We returned the tablet once again and they sent it back again.
Seemed to be charging ok and then the tablet screen started glitching. We returned it once a third time. They then just sent it back.
We then noticed the kids mode had then stopped working and was still glitching. We then sent it back again only to be told we cannot have a refund amd blamed us for "dropping" the tablet. For one it has a thick protective silicone cover on it. They provided pictures that shows the tablet has been forcibly opened by someone and they were trying put the blame on us. They returned it once again, tablet was still glitching, kids mode still not working and then the top left corner stopped working.
We returned it once more and were denied a refund again.
Now they have no idea where the tablet is but we have been told its apparently been returned to us but it hasnt been returned since the courier collected it on 9 March.
I called in today again becausd we are still awaiting feedback only to be told that its in the warehouse but another ticket says they dont know where it is and then get told its with the courier who apparently are the boss of takealot and decide if we will get a refund or have the same faulty tablet returned.
There is never a manager available to talk to and they never call back either. The tablet is still under warranty and has been faulty from the time we bought it but still cant get a refund.

I ordered DYMO LETRATAG LT100-H HANDHELD LABEL MAKER 30 march 2021 (order #85927915) I received the unit 01 April 2021 that didn't work it didn't even switch on I contacted Takealot for replacement and received order (RRN-7317-cf20). According to Takealot app (order no #85983427) It was out for delivery Tuesday 06 April 2021 09h00 at courier "fast and furious". I tried phoning the courier company to hear the estimated delivery time that I can be available for delivery and collection, their telephone number just keep on ringing nobody answers. The original delivery date was then Wednesday 07 April 2021 between 08h00 and the latest 17h00 I then booked Vacation leave from work to be available for delivery as it was deliver and collection, and I waited and nobody phoned or showed up . Thursday 08 April 2021, I went to Takealot at Wonderboom junction I was informed that it was rescheduled for Thursday 08 April 2021 between 08h00 and 17h00 yet again I waited and yet nobody came or phoned
It's very disappointed I waited for 3 days none contacted or showed up from fast and furious couriers or Takealot..

customer service not 1 priority at takealot it seems
21 April 2021 I received an email from Takealot that they aren’t going to do refund on the label printer because of the damage, they included photos how they received the label printer and it’s not how I exchanged it with the courier (it literally looked if somebody threw it against the wall to deliberately damage it, when the exchange was lodged within an hour of collection from original date the reason for exchange was the “ device didn’t switch on”).
After the long struggle for the exchange waiting a week after the delivery date and with the agreement with Takealot to phone an hour before the delivery and that didn’t happen When I placed it back in the original package used green cable ties to seal it, I then placed it then in plastic bubble wrap and inside the original box as per their instruction as per Takealot refund exchange policy with the reference number on the box showed the courier the device and placed the device inside the box and handed the box open to the courier that he can inspect the package and to seal the box (for them not to tell me i sended an empty box with a brick)
1 .Which reasonable person will ask for exchange of a product for a product that is at least switching on and go and damage the return that it could be seen as deliberately and effect the decision for exchange.. If I wanted to deliberately damaged the product I would have asked for a refund and not for an exchange
2 if the package was so damaged as received by Takealot then why did the courier take it when I showed the device to him
3. After a month I received feedback about my return so where was the return?
The bad service I received from Takealot for the exchange and now the allegation that it was broken deliberately I won’t recommend Takealot to anybody. Just imagine you exchange a product after the 1st month within 6 months warranty after you receive the product and the product is damage by the courier, or maybe by the company self that they alledged you deliberately have broken it. I have been a customer for almost a year now and spended thousands on Takealot online and this is how they repay you as a customer. Will rather do online shopping somewhere else
Afritrail hartbeest highback aluminium armrest folding chair
Good Day, I purchased 3 x AfriTrail Hartbeest Highback Aluminium Armrest Folding Chairs for my caravan in January 2021 the chairs was never used before we went on holiday on 26 March 2021. The chairs has 2 x clipping/locking clips at the back, the clips does not work properly and releases itself even if nobody sits on the chairs the clips is flimsy and when the clips the releases the experience is very uncomfortable.
Desired outcome: I would like AfriTrail to send me a better chairs at their expense for the inconvenience and being 760km away from my home and being unable to use their chairs, as I thought they provided high quality camping chairs
A router which is not brand new
poor service which I received from Take A Lot.
We bought a router from Take A Lot, and when we open the box router a used router and old one has been delivered to us on the 03 April 2021. I have taken the pictures of it
The only new thing in box was a phone wires. The charger and other things had stains on them.
I am so disappointed with the service rendered as we have already paid for it. When we ask them to collect they say it will be collected in 5 days and already they have our money and which they will only put it in a basket so that we must use it with the poor service they have rendered

I have bought it and couldn't connect my RAIN card. My card got damaged and I had to get a new card with lots of hassle. I put this thing away and put the RAIN card in my phone but my children are very unhappy because they are home with no internet while I am at school. A friend tried to connect but no use. Non Existing Customer service
Many words describe takealot and its employees.
USELESS, RUDE, INCOMPETENT, LAZY and the list goes on. Never helpful and forever blaming the "system" for not being able to help us customers. But please takealot tell us again how "customer satisfaction is a priority" because so far you have dissatisfied almost all of South-Africa.
Desired outcome: Stop being lazy and incompetent and at least try to be worthy to society.

So I ordered flea treatment in 8th March. It was in stock I chose standard delivery. Paid.
Fast forward to 16march when I'm told my order was cancelled.
Later 16 March now my order is not cancelled (apparently I made that up. Bear in mind I have email proof of this) my order will be delivered on 30 March. I then get told to reorder it, so it arrives sooner as they credited my account.
Check my account no credit. Send them proof of this no credit they don't respond.
I ask for a refund.

Poor Service- Been trying to get my CORRECT INVOICES FROM JUNE 2020.
For over a month now, I have been in contact with Takealot to get my invoices. You have to log onto their website and request each invoice. This took forever... Some invoices never came through. Eventually when they did, two invoices were horribly incorrect...do you think they could FIX this? No.
The one invoice was for a product I purchased in June 2020, they have now dated the invoice to 2021. Even tho, I have requested the invoice waaaay before the end of the financial year. Problem is, the lump sum I paid in June 2020 does now not add up as the invoice is not dated for June. The other invoice, I purchased a product for R215.00. The invoice says I purchased it for R425 and the VAT is R238...The VAT is more than what I paid for.
I am blue in the face, phoning in and speaking to Agents. The then push it to their accounts department as "Urgent" and that is the last you hear. You cannot even get hold of the accounts department directly.
The incompetence and service on rendering invoices from Takealot is just appalling!

It's been more than 10days since I asked for a return on my microwave and I called today, the agent says it takes 21 working day for me to get any feedback. My family is not coping without a microwave. They say it's with the manufacture this is why. I need a microwave.
