Subway review: Scam, drug usage ( 30 comments)

I would think if the manager was selling drugs he could afford to give you a raise under the table, or were you hoping for free samples.

First of all let me say this, Subway does not pay that much, what maybe minimum wage or less, so I wouldn't worry about getting a raise. I would find a better job or go to school and get a formal education, a certificate, diploma, associate degree, or even a bachelor degree. Then you will be making more than the manager at Subway.

As far as the drug habit, that maybe why he is working at Subway! By publicly posting your awareness of his habit, you legally convicted yourself. Accept your loses, and move on to something better. When you see people working in such places, there is always a reason why.

Given the state the victim lives in, if it is not an "employment- at- will-state", perhaps he can find loop holes in the employment law to base his claims. However, it appears the victim ( person who was denied the raise) has not taken the steps to pursue this matter according to the law, instead, he has taken a more personal approach towards the matter.

Legally, you idiot, we all know who the victim is! Some people lack the ability to see beyond the obvious and read between the lines, you must be one of them.

I don't have to be afraid of anything! I comments are my comments are mine and I do believe in compromising my beliefs. If it makes you happy then please by all means, do so. The questions to you was, what are you going to gain?

Listen you a**hole; whether it is true or not; I don't work at Subway and don't advise other people to do so. In other words, in my first comment, I told the so called victim, if you had read it, to focus on pursing other objectives like getting an education to better himself, which in the end result he may find himself making more than minimum wage and with a career rather than just a job, he will have a more professional position.

People say things about each other all the time, that does not mean because I placed no emphasis on his comment about the manager it is alright to say such things, that is why in the second post, I questioned the legal aspect of his claim, if he suspicious of such act, that is what the anonymous tip of his local police station is for.

At what point did you read in any of my posting anonymous comments are always correct ? I see why you refer to yourself as "Pee Stew", you pee on yourself a lot and your brains are as soggy as beef stew!

Also, what made you believe I know the manager or the employee? My comments were geared mainly towards the employee to better himself and leave frivolous arguments alone to focus on better things like improving himself. Did you read that message in either comments I posted. You need to be careful how you interpret things when you read! You have a tendency obviously to miss the point each time!

Since you seem to focus on such hidden objective, have you noticed or questioned yourself of the relation between the two.

How in fact does the manager who is employed at this so called Subway allows someone who works under him to discover such incriminating evidence against himself?

Knowing at some point this information will be used against him in the form of manipulation.

Were they doing it together? Are they both involved in such criminal activity? For what reason did one turn against the other to post such a comment?

What caused this friendship to go bad? Where did things go wrong?

Your comment is a recap of what I posted previously. Obviously you are not a smart person to believe you are insulting someone by using the concepts presented in previous post.

You are attempting to compensate for your previous comments. All of you must be involved in such activity considering you all have very much to say. Therefore, by all means, please continue to post your petty insults. We find such comments humorous.

As for the Subway investigation, all comments in regard to this matter is being investigated. All individuals will be considered participants in this investigation. We must inform you of that much.

Publicly stating that any person is participating in illegal activity is a bold move and should be discouraged by anyone that hasn't seen evidence to back up the statement. If the OP has in fact witnessed these actions, he/she should file a police report ASAP to protect himself from legal backlash. Accusations without evidence are rarely upheld in court.

The same goes for being 'promised' a raise. As long as you were being paid your state's minimum wage, or unless you have something in writing stating you were entitled to a raise after a predetermined amount of time and/or after meeting certain qualifications, you don't have much to go on.

and a twist on the phrase 'cottonmouth' as a user name doesn't give me the impression that all of your hobbies are legal either.
