I stopped on 7-7-20 at Tilton, NH store to pick up a printer cable. When I was walking into the store I realized I did not have my mask that it was in my other car. So I put my shirt up around my mouth and was going to purchase a disposable mask but when I walked in there was a cart with a box of mask that was opened so I thought I could take one. I noticed a man staring at me he was a worker and he never offered to help me he was just glaring at me. So I asked him where the cables were I had my old one with me he never spoke I followed him and he handed me the cable and then said in a rude tone that the mask are not free. I said oh sorry I did not know that the box was already opened. So I told him I will pay for it. When I got the register I told the girl that I will pay for this mask she looked confused then the he came by us and told her that he was going to damage the box out and that I was all set. He was the manager if he can do that I did not get his name but he was so rude. I will think twice about going to this Staples because of him. He could of handled it much better.We are all in this together right?
