I bought a pair of shoes at FINISH LINE and I used them ounce, for an hour at a basketball pick up game and men the shoes gave me terrible blister on the foot and ankle I told my dad to return them me at the store for an exchanged due to maybe a defect on the shoes. One of the representative said they could change it for a different shoes so my dad called me to tell me to swing by to get a pair that would fit right and not hurt you while using the shoe. I got there the representative is now saying they could not change the shoe because its used and blah-blah and blah-blah and you could talk to our store manager and blah-blah. The point is they said they would do change the shoe and all of a sudden they changed there mind on changing it. wheres the customer is always right. I mean don't get me wrong, I swear they got that attitude that you feel there pushing you away from buying on there store... well its there loss cause im gonna spread the word not to buy on this store again they suck..."i will never buy again on finish line there finish"

Same thing happened to me, my bank took care of it and issued me a new card and within 2 weeks SI got my new bank card number and charged me allover again, this time charged me more than the first time. I tried calling them and they won't give me any information unless I give them the card that I used, SMH.. which i refused to give them so they won't help me at all... thank god my bank helps me out, , , but I still don't understand how the keep getting me card numbers. And i have not shopped at Finish Line in a very long time..

Still happening in March 2016 through Finish Line at Coastal Grande Mall in Myrtle Beach, SC. Just received a charge for $53.45 (WOW!) for a subscription to Sports Illustrated that I don't even want. All I wanted was a pair of sneakers for my 5 year old. I attempted to refuse the so called Free subscription yet somehow still received it in the mail. I've filed a dispute for unauthorized charges with my bank and will take it as far as I need to. And note to self: NEVER EVER SHOP AT FINISH LINE AGAIN!

Still happening. I bought a pair of shoes in finish line in Myrtle Beach SC and I said I no to the subscription. I thought the receipt was only for a pair of shoes. I do not even read sports illustrated nor want them. I did not authorize anyone but finish line to run my card for a pair of sneakers only. I bet they get some type of commission. I called and they said it would be seven to ten days to refund so we will see. This is a dirty cheap trick to get business.

Still happening. Bought a pair of shoes from Finish Line on October 30, 2015 and I just got a call from my bank about possible fraudulent charges from Sports Illustrated. I had my bank issue a charge back, cancel my card and I cancelled my subscription by calling the magazine directly. I specifically said "no" to the free subscription and never received a magazine. The operator who answered for the customer service line said the subscription was under a different name and address...I can only assume its the name and address of one of Finish Line's employees. Such a scam.
At the very least, my bank was aware of this scam already and knew enough to bring it to my attention.

Still happening, ran into the Finish Line at the Moorestown Mall in NJ for a pair of sneaks and 2 months later received a bill for a kids sports ill mag. ($39.95) I called SI and they will refund the money. What a scam they got going on. Time to lodge my complaint with the BBB.

This scam situation is still happenning nowadays in 2015, it happened to me at Leesburg outlet Stores location, they try to hide everything and when you want to call them they say that employee no longer work there and unfortunately you signed the electronic pad, of course you signed is your credit card! this is the big difference between buying in footlocker or sports autorithy or even Dick's. Now EVERYBODY knows WHO ARE THE REAL DICKS of th sports goods the scammers of Finish Line, I WILL NOT BUY THERE ANYMORE cause people who mess with your credit cards are called THIEVES everywhere around the world and managers that covers them are also THE SAME.

Actually, what y'all are complaining about is on YOUR FAULT. DON'T BLAME A COMPANY BECAUSE YOU DID NOT READ THE FINE PRINT ABOVE YOUR SIGNATURE. Finish line is not allowed to give your card info unless you sign. There must be a signature for finish line to even allow sports illustrated to have your card info. Read the fine print (:

Same thing. Wife buys shoes for child, Finish Line salesperson says "10 issues of SI free", they say OK and I completely missed the charge on our credit card. Luckily I saw the automatic renewal on the magazine in today's mail. Time and the Finish Line have no shame. I was unable to lodge a complaint with Time about this practice and the Finish Line web site has no links to a customer service department.

Oh, I love the url at the bottom of the SI.com site:

"Time Inc. and the DMA are working together to prevent Identity Theft
visit: http://www.ftc.gov/idtheft"

Maybe we should start reporting The Finish Line and Sports Illustrated -- that should get their attention.

I had the same experience. I bought a pair of shoes for my teenager using my debit card. Three months later I have charges for subscriptions to Sports Illustrated AND Sports Illustrated Kids. When I called SI, they informed me that Finish Line has signed me up. At the time of purchase I was not informed of the subscription, asked if I wanted a subscription, told I would have to cancel the subscription or given a number to cancel the subscription. Very Shady! I will be shopping in cash at all stores from now on.

The same thing same happened to me except the magazine subscriptions weren't even in my name and I thought they were just sending them to the wrong address, until money was charged on my credit card from them. Sports Illusrated is going to refund my money, but next time IF I ever shop at Finish Line I will be paying with cash.

This same thing happened to me. i gave no one the permission to charge my card for any subscription however i was offered a free magazine for the purchase of a pair of shoes. i even declined at first but the sales associate insisted that all that was required was my mailing address.
