I was treated like a nonhuman when I needed assistance as a disabled traveler. As I was assisted with a wheelchair I was told I wouldn’t be able to fly unless I paid for two small suitcases total $200 they wouldn’t allow me to board last plane as a connecting flight to Detroit then New York City. I didn’t anticipate I would have to pay. I ask is there a way you can accommodate me I only have the budget for one. No! Have to pay now or miss this flight next one tomorrow. My first time being in Houston alone on business. I had to make the choice to choose one suitcase the other will be tossed into the garbage, I was desperate everything on my trip on 19th-22nd has been going left. I decided to leave my personal items, clothing, personal, shoes etc, since I could only afford one. As I decided to pick one with tears in my eyes I had to leave my luggage and everything inside of my luggage had meaning. At this point I’m in tears, I just want to go home before closing the gate any second now. The Supervisor said I would have to walk to the trash can and leave the luggage near the trash if I wanted to board at this point everyone around had been watching the passengers staff etc, and I did with tears running down my face i board. I couldn’t not hold it in I had to just cry.
I'am now waiting for my connecting flight to New York ready to board I was ask to step aside as I gave her my new ticket. Your bag was NOT checked in and if I had a planned on getting on the price $100. I mentioned this is a connected flight I paid. I was treated with no compassion the same rules applies you will miss your flight you have 15 mins for someone to send you money. I couldn’t think straight with all the confusion I had from the flight before. I called my sister frantically she paid. No one cared less that I was disabled it broke my heart. What options do I have at this point?

Desired outcome: Reimbursing of the clothing I had to take to the trash and reimbursement of $100 for paying twice. And the embarrassment customer services would not board me unless I took my clothes to the trash.
