10 hours on the way there, 7 on the way back. Thanks so much Singapore Airlines for extending our time travelling beyond the point of exhaustion.
We left home at 5 to arrive at airport at 6, check in 3 hours before an international flight as required.
Takeoff at 9.00am and we don't get breakfast. Just a few nuts until lunch time. After lunch we are offered a microwave pasty.
Then your tight with the drinks. Tiny glasses of quite good red wine that we are only allowed one at a time, so if we want to encourage ourselves to nap on the 13 hour flight to Europe... too bad.
On the long flight we were not offered tooth brushes or socks or eye masks.
Should I mention the dinner that I couldn't eat. It was large shrimp (called prawn) in pasta tossed in butter. No herbs, no sauce, no prawn, little salt.
You were my preferred airline, now your one to avoid.
Recommendation: I am told Qantas flies direct from Perth to Heathrow in 17 hours non stop. They probably do Europe the same way. Avoid the Long Layovers in Changie
