making a $20 purchase at 5pm, attendant not allowed to accept a $50 bill which would require $30 change, despite having $150 in till at time, the original float from 3pm opening. This makes complete zero sense this is the entire purpose of the float, if no accepting above $20 then put up a sign so we don't all waste time shopping for items only to have to leave them there unpaid. Went directly to London Drug used same $50 bill to purchase identical products. Get with the program Shoppers, that is a complete joke and waste of customer and staff time. I'll return in 6 months to see if improvements made.

Desired outcome: signage if refusing any size legal tender so that we can choose to ship elsewhere if that is the actual policy, or proper training for staff if that is the issue, this staff member claimed to be the supervisor
