Shoppers Drug Mart review: Pharmacy

Shoppers Drug Mart at 341-343 Kent St. in Lindsay, On. I called the Pharmacy at 8:50 pm on May 21, 2026 to check the status of my prescriptions, of course it was a recording, advising me I was the second caller on hold. After waiting the recording advised I was the first person on hold. I was on hold for almost an hour and no one answered, just the same message from a recording. I hung up and called back to customer service, who advised the pharmacy was open till 10:00 pm and transferred me to the Pharmacy. Again I held on till 10;00 pm, I gave up and hung up. This has happened numerous times. Always the same excuse, they are short staffed. I have the same problem when I try to renew my prescriptions by phone, I am left on hold for an unacceptable length of time and end up hanging up. I guess I will search for a new Pharmacy that provides better customer service, unlike Shoppers who does not seem to care anymore.
