I went in after my shift at 11:20 last evening. Shoppers at 888 Meadowlands Drive in Ottawa . Two women were at the front. One at the cash and one with a cart stocking in the front at the produce and bread isle. As per flyer I wanted to get my son some muffins. Sticker was not displayed for the muffins so I politely asked the woman stocking the bread if the muffins were not on sale as it was sale day. She pretended to not hear me. I asked her again, and she said she did not know to go ask the cashier. Then she turned her back. The cashier had five people at the cash so I continued my shopping with the muffins in my cart. While I waited for the cash line to clear I went to scan my lottery ticket about 40 feet away. This woman then suddenly showed up for no reason, standing around by the perfume aisle and slowly walking back and forth. I finished scanning my ticket then proceeded to walk over to the Halloween section. She then slowly walked around to that area, doing nothing at all but kept in close distance from me. She could not have been more obvious. I then walked past her and looked directly at her as I went to finish my shopping. I had bougt about forty dollars worth of stuff. When I finally went to pay all of a sudden guess what. That woman is fevereshly stocking again, no doubt in a rush because she took ten minutes following me around . I asked the cashier about if the muffins were on sale. SHE then stands at the cash ,looks at me and tells me to check the flyer then turns her back . I was getting seriously pissed off at this point. My glasses were broken so I could not read the flyer properly . I asked her again to please check and she got all annoyed and said, yes, it is on sale. I then told her I asked because there was no sticker displaying the sale. She pretened she did not hear, scanned the items, tossed them on the counter and turned her back after I paid her.. I am not done. I will be making a call to that manager today and the regional office and I will not stop until both women are disciplined. I have had enough with the incompetent, lazy, ignorant and accusatory staff who work there. I am a 63 year old nurse who came off duty and if I was going to steal a pack of muffins I would not have taken my time scanning a lottery ticket. They have not heard the last of me
Desired outcome: Discipline of both staff working
