Hello, I recently received three (3) Sheetz Gift Cards in the mail from a health insurance company called UPMC. They were valued at $15.00 each (total of $45.00). I added those three cards to my Sheetz online app in the 'wallet' section. The app showed that they each had a $15.00 balance in them. Immediately following that, I attempted to place an order on the Sheetz app for food delivery, however, the total of the bill after delivery charges came to $15.89. The Sheetz app rejected the cards in my wallet automatically without me attaching any payment method to that order. I checked the 'wallet' status after that and each card had indicated next to them the following : "Insufficient Funds". I attempted to do a split transaction using two Sheetz Gift Cards, but was not able to., I then gave up. Two days later, I went to use one of the Sheetz gift cards at the store and was told it had a $0.00 balance. Then I checked the balances online for all three cards that had a $15.00 balance on each of them only two days earlier, yet never used, and all three Sheetz Gift Cards were now at a $0.00 balance. . . Loss total = $45.00. Obviously, Sheetz' mobile app software managed to WIPE OUT out all of my Sheetz Gift Card balances on three gift cards in one fell swoop although never used because I simply attempted to place a food order that was ultimately rejected because the total of the food order exceeded the available balance on each of the respective three gift cards. Unquestionably, This is a a "SCAM" of Magnificent Proportions concocted by Sheetz utilizing software designed to wipe out balances of Gift Cards despite never having been used. . Please find out what happened to my three Gift Card balances totaling $45.00, and consists of the potential for a Class Action Lawsuit? We will need at least forty (40) victims having experienced similar actions by Sheetz, from Altoona, Pennsylvania, against them in order to become a valid "Class Action" Lawsuit in Federal Court. My name is James D. Hummer from Mount Joy, PA. Thank you for your services regarding this complaint against Sheetz...
