This is with regards to Reference Number [protected].
Last October 27, 2023 at 7:30am, I called the Shakey's Hotline to place an advance order for a Buy 1 Take 1 Large Pizza to be delivered to my son's school at 10:30am. It is for my son's birthday party at school during their recess time. At around 10:30am, I called the school and learned that the pizzas were still not yet delivered. I called the hotline and to my dismay, I was informed that my order was not placed. I was then told that upon checking, my 7:30am call for the advance order was recorded in the system and there was no reason for my order not to be placed. The hotline agent told me that they will just expedite the delivery. After talking to the hotline agent, I called the school and talked to my son who was already crying because all his classmates were already hungry because they did not bring any food for recess. I told him that the pizzas will be delivered soon and he can tell his classmates to just eat after their dismissal at 12:00 noon. At around 12 noon, I again called the school to check if the pizzas were already delivered and to my shock, there were still no pizzas. I again called the hotline and I was informed that for the second time, my order was still not placed but there were records of my call at 7:30am and 10:30am. Upon learning this, I was so shock and furious and I asked the agent to give me the number of the Shakey's branch that is handling my order. I was told that it is the Shakey's Caltex Filinvest, Muntinlupa City Branch. I called the said branch and talked to Omar Umbao and was told that there was no order placed in their system. I cannot believe what he said to me and was so mad thinking how much embarrasment my son has to endure for his birthday celebration. After the call, I immediately went to my son' s school to console him and bring him home. I was informed by the school that the pizzas were delivered at around 1:00pm and all my son's classmates have gone home hungry.
Thank you Shakey's for making my son's birthday celebration miserable! He was so upset that he did not want to leave the house the whole day. We were supposed to have a family dinner that day but we had to cancel it because he did not want to leave the house anymore.
Please send me a response as soon as possible detailing what happened to my order and to the calls I made.
