Sears review: Kenmore elite refrigerator

On or around the beginning to the middle of september 2019 we started to notice that our fridge wasnt keeping things as cold as usual, the ice maker didnt work on a constant pace, then my husband put extra ice in the bin that came with it and realized a few days later that the bin of ice had melted and refroze into a solid block. It seemed like everything on the left side of the freezer was not keeping things frozen, bread dough we had had formed a massive glob so we threw it away. We would still hear the ice maker drop ice for awhile then it would stop for acouple days then start to work again til it finally stopped making ice all together. The fridge we still use for fruit and stuff that doesnt spoil so fast. We called the sears warranty repair place to scedule an appointment for a repair person and they came 3 weeks later to diagnose what they thought was wrong and made another appointment for 2 weeks later. At 5 oclock thursday we get a call saying the repair guy had a family emegency so we had to rescedule another week away, on november 1. My husband and I have bought everything we own for our house at sears. Every time we buy a appliance we are ask to purchase the warrenty and this is what we get. Still waiting for the repair! We will continue to throw food away on top of everything we threw from our freezer. We purchased this at sears store in derby vermont.1-802-766-2411
