I made a complain about non functioning of my 29 " TV on 09.10.07 itself, but till date no body has cared to visit my place. They dont pick up the phone and when somehow they could be contacted then they assured that withing two days some one may be visiting my place. By the way, the service centre is not even one kilometer from my place. Now I regret why did I buy Sansui and that too two at a times.
We had purchased a Sansui 29" TV four years. Some days ago, it stopped working suddenly. When we called Customer service, they took ages to send us an engineer. The engineer, apart from being discourteous, was not properly trained in handling the problem. first he told that the IC had gone bad. When we spent Rs. 750 on the IC, he told us that the picture tube had gone bad as well and that it would be replaced by the company in 3-4 days. it has been a week. No one has come. We are calling customer service almost day, they are just not bothered. Looks like we have been duped of rs. 750/-.
I hae a sansui 29 ''TV, It is 4 years old the sound quality is very poor we were not able to listen to the dialouge clearly,pls come and rectify it .
This complaint is in reference with the Sansui television which is not working from past more than 6 months. I have been regularly making complaints and calling at the customer care but the response is nil. How can u give us a product when you yourself don't have a solution for the problems. The parts are not available and we are not able to us the product. We have been making complaints to Manoj, pawan sgwan, Praveen and many more. I have collected several complaint numbers and this is my last attempt for a complaint as with such pathetic service i have to go to consumer court as the company seems to be helpless. I hope that the company gets back as soon as possible to avoid serious judiciary measures.
We have purchased SANSUI 29 inches color TV from M/s R R Electronics, West Mambalam, Chennai 600033, India, 2 years back.
Recently, for the past one week, while we are watching the television, suddenly the picture tube goes off and we have to switch on to the other channel and then reverse to the current channel we are watching. This happens every half an our while we watch the programme. Beware!
I had purchased Sansui PJ29 Multiplex WT 29" on 01.07.2007 from Shnehanjali - Mira Road.
And in the month of September [ie] 09.09.07 had placed the complaint with M/s. Snehanjali - Mira Road and spoken to Mr. Dilip. and had promised to send the company [ sansui ] representative on Wednesday [ ie] 12.09.07 but he had visited on 13.09.07 and after inspecting the tv set he said the power pack part had to replaced so he shall come tmmr and replace the same. Till today [ie] 18.09.07 technician has not called or turned up.
When we call snehanjali - Mr. Dilip says he had spoken to the technician and shall be coming in a day or two with the original part.
Very poor service, don't buy this TV!
Purchased 29'' color TV ( Model - CTV TM 29 EYE - Serial No. [protected]) on 15/7/2004 at SPS TV PALACE -Thiruvallur -602001.Now I have shifted my residence to Hosur and since 20/8/2007 TV is not working and service engineer of Hosur told me to bring TV to the service center at Hosur.When I took the TV to service center he told picture tube has failed and it will be replaced within 10 days (picture tube has to come from head office -Coimbatore) because it is within warranty period.
But till date I have not got the TV back and after contacting for several times I was told that there is no stock of picture tube anywhere and no decision has been taken for the next alternate.
I have purchased Sansui HR 15' color TV Flat Screen on 11/11/2006. Since last few days when i switch on the TV after 10 minutes it gives a beep and picture goes off while the sound remains coming. Due to the fear i turn off the TV.
Please suggest me to whom i should contact.

I have bought sansui lcd tv (biggest mistake) less than a year that stopped working seems power fault. I have complaint from 15/8/2007 till 10/9/2007 with different complaint no. been provided, but the problem is not sorted nor any response from sansui.
I am planning to take sansui to consumer court and to refund my money!!
I had purchased Sansui TV Model Hard Rock 21 Eye on 04/05/2007 Panvel (near Mumbai) fro Modern Electronics (contact # 91-22-[protected]). In April 2007 an abnormal sound- hissing kind of - was noticed & I lodged a complaint with the dealer, who arranged for Sansui Authorized Service Person. He informed that the EHT (Extra High Tension Transformer) had become weak & advised to get it changed lest it would blow up some other components & cause higher costs. Accordingly I coughed up Rs 750/- for which I recvd a bill. Now in Sept 07 again hssing sound has started & complaint is lodged. Repeated problem is very irritating.
On July 11, 2007, I bought the Sansui 29" Hardrock TV vide Invoice No: 0129268 from Pai International, RT Nagar, Bangalore showroom and was installed in my house at 9.45pm by your engineers. It blacked out on the same day 15 minutes after working and I reported this to Mr.Lokesh at 10.15pm. It was nice of him to assure me that a new replacement would reach my house the next day, though he was already on his way to Mysore. We were terribly upset the whole night sitting in front or the blacked out TV.
Next day at 5pm the TV was replaced with a new TV. I called showroom the same evening and reported that there are following problems in this TV as follows:-
The logos of channes were ‘Floating’
The vertical straight lines in most of the channels were ‘Floating’ or ‘wavery’
Some times the images looked shaky
The scrolls in News channel were shaky and going cross.
Sony playstation video sometimes at the edges go angled.
The showroom people requested me to use it for some time and get back with the complaints .
I went back to showroom where I bought this TV, after a fortnight requesting them to attend to the above complaints as its terribly annoying to watch like this. Infact my Onida KY 21 “ TV which I gave for the buy back offer , bought in 1994 was till date working without any complaints or shutdown. The only reason was we wanted to upgrade to a 29” so that my son could enjoy his Sony Playstation better. Now on this TV we have all the problems.
No one came to attend to it inspite of repeated complaints and phone calls. At last on 12 August I went personally again to showroom and raised my voice with the complaint. That week they sent an engineer from Sansui , who saw all this complaints and went back saying he would return with his tools. The next week never came.
Again on 18th I visited the showroom and said I am giving one last chance to attend to it else I need a replacement immediately a brand of my choice with the difference in payment I agreed to pay. I said I will wait till 25th August for them to resolve the issues. Till 25th afternoon no one came to attend it. Ultimately I called the showroom and raised my voice. Subsequently took the number of Mr.Lokesh and brought to his notice my problems. Immediately I got a call from Mr.Ashok, an engineer from Sansui and said he would attend it by 2 pm.
Mr.Ashok worked on my TV for an hour and said this needs a replacement of TV. Ofcourse he said he will report this to Pai International as the complaint came to Sansui from them. I called Mr.Lokesh and told him about this. He had requested me to wait till Wednesday this week ie., 29/08/2007.
My sincere advice do not buy Sansui Brands.
This is in reference to the above mentioned subject, i am owing a Sansui Company TV Since last 5 years. since 1 and a half months back we are facing some problems in our TV, which we complained to the local authorized technician MR. Jayantibhai, he visited us and charged us Rs.400/-, still the same problem is ongoing.
After that we booked the complaint in the sansui call centre at Ahmedabad, after which they sent another technician to us, he charged us Rs.350/-, till date the tv is in same position with lots of problems.
After complaining to Mr. Prashant Wada At Rajkot office and Mr. Shailesh upadhyay at Ahmedabad Office, again they sent us another technician who just visited us for 10 minutes and said there are some problems, which we will sort out soon, but till date no actions are been taken.
Also on the above we didnt received any receipts for the payments made to the technicians.
The above matter is discussed to MR. Prashant Wada at Rajkot and Mr. Shailesh Upadhyay at Ahmdabad, and the replies we get is, that we will surely do something at the earliest.
We are suffering since last 1 and half month. we are unable to track the same with Sansui officials.
I am forwarding this complaint to inform you how the Sansui India in working and they are not in position to give after sale service.
This is regarding a CTV problem. I have purchased a CTV brand “SANSUI” Model # 29" Hard Rock CTV on 22.07.2006 through the dealer M/S. NEHA ELECTRONICS, 2337 SEC 7A FARIDABAD, HARYANA vide BILL # 482 dtd. 22.07.2006. The TV started giving problem within 6 months from the purchase date. It used to get switched off every now and then. After complaining it to the dealer, he got it recitified after 1½ month of the formal complaint. It worked only for a few days, and then went into the same mode. This time even after complaining it again n again to the dealer, he took quite long to get it repaired. But again the same thing happened. And this time, even the dealer is not listening to us even after multiple complaints and reminders. More, no one is picking the phones on Sansui help lines. I have lodged several complaints with their Action line # but nobody is attending.

I bought a Sansui 29" TV and a DVD player a year back. The quality of the product is very bad as it was not giving any better output. It looks like Sansui is not worried about their service and they are careless about it. They simply offer warranty period but does not meet any of the agreements. I am frustrated with their product and service. I will never recommend Sansui products to anyone.

We bought a Sansui (India) LCD TV within 5 months the adaptor failed and on the 24 th of july we got in touch with [protected] (a call center in chennai) followed up with a call on 26 th july 07 to Vincent on [protected], and lastly to Kanakaraj 30/7/2007.
All of them have the same answer wait for 2 days it is exactly 7 days now and the set is not fixed. The company pays no attention to customer service i regret having bought the same. Sansui India service is pathetic and the employees insensitive and arrogant.

I bought one new sansui 3 in 1 mp3 player way back in 2004, every two months it was getting repaired and was charged more than 500+ every time by company servicing people... Recently, I called the officials towards complaining about their service, the reply was " we ourselves never buy sansui product as why to take risk, so please resell it and don't buy our products if u want hassle free commodities".
Now I'm planning to go to consumer goods to complain about their poor service and customer relations.
My sincere advice to all of you "Please don't buy Sansui products, even it costs 3 bugs for lCD t.v" later u may be charged 1 lakh for the servicing of the t.v.
I bought my new TV from Sansui 29 inch HardRock model on 11/7/07. It was installed at 10pm in the same day and at 10.30 pm it went blank. When I called the showroom he says he would attend to it. This was bought from Pai International, RT Nagar, Bangalore.
Looks like the product is of bad quality.
