The customer care is bad.When we bought the T.V. no person has demonstrated it after calling them several times.Then after 2 years the T.V. board is not functioning.Then we called the customer care and a person came and told that it will be corrected by buying a new board for the T.V. which costs 3000 or above.Why should we give such amount inspite of not getting a feedback.We have got a warranty of about 3 years.We are very disappointed about your service and we didn't get a feedback from the service.So I have to complain about the Sansui service.
We have recently renewed the service contract for our Sansui Color Tv on 15/04/2011. On 24 th June 2011, we had launched / registered the complaint on [protected] number regarding the display card of the same. Sansui customer service assures addressing the issue withing 48 hours. But it looks like these people needs to get training on counting hours and putting customer at first place as till date we havent received any update from these customer care centres. Being the customers we have to keep calling and requesting for service for which we have paid for and still no responce from them. The height of the avoiding the irate customer calling I received the feedback from one of the Sr. Customer care agent ( Nikhil) on 06th July 2011 that the technician had already visited your ( our/ customers) house and they are completely satisfied with the service and which means the complaint was addressed and solved satisfyingly.
So ashamed of having such customer care in out country where people straight away lie to hide their inefficiency. But the agent forgot that the customers also know that they have to sign the acknowledgement from the technician addressing their issue. Moreover getting the same old assurance from the customer care agents of `sorry for your inconvenience but we will try and resolve the issue as soon as possible'. SOON dont think these people know the meaning of that. I just want the services that I have paid for and not the fake assurances.

I was purchased the Sansui tv ctvscs21 sbr-cuu from the distributor but after 20 days the TV shows green and red spot on the screen in every 30 - 35 min sometimes every 15 min and sometimes 1 hour sometime 2 hour on daily basis i was complaint the sansui office 3 times first time executive come and said this is a voltage problem then after 2 months he rubbed the electric iron rod on the screen of TV then after 3 months he said due to atmosphere change the problem is create its solved automatically but the till date the problem not solved i think sansui is a brand name so why this type of problem coming in the Sansui products
i gave compliant regarding my sansui lcd tv to repair the adapter but company says it's cannot repair i asked them give the new one which i can pay the money executive said it's not available in the market
what i have to do incase the company not provde the adapter is it use and through model
i gave my old adapter to the so called service centre of sansui in33, gandhi nagar, jammu, jammu and kashmir, india on 27 nov 2010, after getting a call from their representative that either it will be repaired or a new one will be given to me, whatsoever is the case they will call me. but it never happened whenever i called them i got a simple answer that they have demanded the same and it will be handed over to me. from last 45 days when i'm not able to contact them and finally today i.e 13 may 2011, when i went to the place the amzing fact was that they have shifted and have no address or proof left for me contact them. the tele no which i was given01912458103 to contact is no more in service and they have left me high and dry. i'm waiting to contact any of their senior official but all in vain and now ihave decided to tackle them by sending a legal notice with all the details.
HI GUYS, these sansui service centers and there email id/ contact numbers are really of no use. I have recently purchased a TV from them, but these guys just not sending there person for installation of TV at my home. Think if in the starting they are giving such huddles then how the rest of way will be carry on...Please re-think about this company before purchasing any product. nevertheless to mention here that there is no esclation matrix at there customercare email id, just a customercare email id is there vide which canned messages are fowarding constantly on ou reminders.
I am M.Arumugam residing in surapet, i have brought Sansui Colour LCD TV on 16/3/2010 for my new residence. hoping that sansui is a good company, unfortunately TV got Burned by itself as well as many things got burned on 27/4/2010, so i have lodged complaint on the same day, customercare executive said that they will visit and solve our problem. and also gave us complaint number...after this there was no response.. so again i have called customer care and lodged complaint... not only myself even i have complained to the company from where i have brought the tv. always customer care executicves use to give us the complaint numbers... its going to be one year still now there was no response. atlast Mr.Deva came and visited our burned TV, and he used very odd language. stating that do what ever you can do... and also the way he spoke hurt us a lot.so we were struggling a lot atleast we want our money back.. today 26/4/2011 i again called your customer care executives ms.Lakshmi she was not even bothered... she cut the call inbetween.. so again i called Mr.Mani said that the complaint numbers which was given by the executives was wrong. and we dont know what to do? kindly take proper action as soon as possible.because we are not that rich to leave 13 thousand rupees.hoping that atleast on seeing this we will get a proper solution.. kindly take proper action on your executives.or atleast train your executives to be patient enough towards customer.. because we are calling for our problem that is executive duty to solve politely. and not to cut the call which make customer like me more angry...hoping that atleast now you will do favour for me... if not then i should go to consumer court
I have purchased model LCDTVKYUUTENL CD 321 with serial No. 1111060102167700270on [protected] at Hyderabad [India], through Millennium Appliances India LTdrepresented by Sansai Main service centre, Marol Bhuvan, Marol co-operative industrial area, M.V. Road, Andheri east, Mumbai400059. The lcd tv became non functionalin December 2010. I have contacted sansui call centre of Hyderabad with toll free No. [protected] several times from Dec.2010 onwrds with no results. On [protected] for my latest contct I have received one SMS to my mobile [protected] which says that my complaint Hyd [protected] will be serviced by Mr. D.S.Rao whose contact number is [protected]. I have a sansui cine prime-20 colur tv but due to some tequanical falt service code (colure code)is currrupted from my tv wich i face dark green picture in my television so please send me mail service code of cine prime-20 in my mail id
I bought a Sansui LCD from HiFi Corp just over two years ago for R18000. It is used in a spare room and has maybe 500hours of viewing time on it. 4 months after the warranty expires, the TV stops working. I contact Sansui SA and they say send it to MasterCare Earlybird which I did.
6 weeks later they come back to me and tell me that it needs a circuit board and will cost R3000 to repair. Not having any option I tell them to go ahead. Now they come back to me and say that they cannot find a spare part.
I have sent Sansui two emails asking for some action, which have to-date not been answered. Legal opinion informs that that this is situation falls foul of the Consumer Protection Act and that I can take action, which I fully intend to do.
I see that I am not the only one that has had this issue - tell everyone you know that Sansui TVs are not repairable and they may end up with an R18, 000 paperweight like me.
This is with reference to the above said mentioned product which has been purchased on 7th July’06. This is really humiliating that the product which had been purchased was brand new with 3 years of warranty i.e till 07th July’09. On 08th March’09 my T.V was starts malfunctioning and turned off, I had raised a complaint to the dealer also. But dealer sends a technician (Mr. Neeraj)after 15 days. The same technician damages the screws and motherboard ic’s while opening and closing the external body of T.V. set and left the same without trouble shooting on a reported issue. Again after logging complaints to dealer they sent same technician Mr. Neeraj after 8 days but this time after without trouble shooting on the reported issue he asked me that the T.V. set had to be taken to the service centre. Now after 3-4 days they delivered my T.V. set but the issue was not get resolved, again after 15 days they send another technician to trouble shoot on the issue but this time technician reports that many internal parts were missing and have to be changed like sensor, ic’s, capacitors. So he changed the same and charged Rs.3000/- (without service charge), I have a copy of receipts also.
Now this would like bring into your kind attention that after again and again repairing of my T.V. set the same is looking like that I had purchased from scrap yard. Now this time I personally visited to Customer Care Centre to get logged my complaint but the executives and managers harshly lash me out from the centre and asked me that there was some meeting going on in the office. This is really very humiliating to attend the customers in the manner. Now on 1st July2010 my T.V was again turned off and not able to work and as I mentioned above also that warranty period was till 07th July’09, so I am really helpless now. My T.V was damaged by Services Centre only. So request you to kindly investigate in the reported matter and help us in this regard. Else we have to approach to Delhi Jurisdiction for the same. Hope for some positive response from your side. The details of the T.V. and dealer address has been mentioned below for your kind concern.
The Tv is displaying picture but there is no sound. One technician visited some 12 days back and promised to rectify the fault by replacing the part which he said would be done next day.Since then neither has he shown his face nor even had any courtesy to inform the latest position. Since 9/10/2009 I have been contacting Shri Arun (Mobile No.[protected]) who informed that one person has been sent with the part, but till this complaint no body has turned up nor have responded. I am having a real sansui experience as shown on your booklet.
Our above mentioned TV has a problem with its adaptor (so said the mechanic) on the 26 th of July 07 when he finally agreed to come after much pesuasion ( this process started from the 24/07/2007) his name is Vincent [protected]. This person nolonger communicates with us after this visit of his and now on 30/7/07 we were told to escalate this to Mr. Kanakaraj [protected] who said categorically that the adaptor would arrive in 3 to 4 days time after which he will depute some one to attend our TV.
There is no TAT nor is there any politeness in answer, looks like we are at the mercy of these (gentle)men and surprise surprise when i wanted to register a complaint the site does not work.
Service is pathetic any one who buys Sansui should first taste this before they try the brand.
We bought a TV around 4 months back. Just 10 days back it is not working. We called to the shop and customer support. Nobody did not come for 7 days. One guy came on 7th day and he told he does not have needed component. And he told he will be back on next day. But still nobody has come. We use to call every day but they say we have sent sombody they will come now. Not yet nobody has come. We are very disappointed because the response is very poor. Its not fare for the companys like sansui.

I have purchased the SANSUI 21'' TV MODEL CTV 21'' SFF21WDN-CFH FROM MILLENNIUM APPLIANCES INDIA LTD ON 11.02.2010, AFTER ONE MONTH IT HAD STOPPED WORKING COMPLETELY, I HAVE TAKEN IT TO THE ABOVE SAID COMPANY AT HYDERABAD THE OWNERS SAID HE WILL CHECK IT OUT THE PROBLEUM AND REPAIR IT AFTER REPARING THE TV I HAVE TAKEN BACK IT TO MY HOME BUT LATER WITH IN 2 DAYS IT AGAIN STOPPED COMPLETELY I HAVE REQUESTED THE MANAGER MAHENDER REDDY AND PRASAD RAO TO PLEASE EXCHANGE THE DAMAGED TV OR OTHER WISE PLEASE RETURN MY MONEY. BUT NEITHER THEY ARE RETURNING MY MONEY NOR THEY ARE EXCHANGEING IT WITH NEW TV SO I HUMBLY REQUEST YOU TO PLEASE CONSIDER MY PLEA AND TAKE THE DECISION AS SOON AS POSSIBLE
DEFECTIVE SANUI TV THUNDERMASTER 29
I purchased a Sansui TV Thunder Master 29 in 2004 with a 7 year warranty for Rs. 16000/-. The TV has developed fault 5 times till now but at least the complaints were being attended to and the TV was being repaired after I incurred some expenditure. The TV developed fault once again in Mar 10. I reported this to their customer service on 26 Mar 2010 complaint number HYD [protected]. After repeated reminders a technician came from Star Services arrived and said he would return with the required components in two days to repair the TV. He never turned up but when I contacted the customer service ph no. [protected] I was told that the complaint has been cancelled for reasons best known to them. A fresh complaint number Hyd [protected] was allotted. Till date the complaint has not been attended to. I called the customer care again today and I was surprised to hear that a mechanic had visited my place yesterday and since the door was locked the complaint has been closed. Now I have been allotted third complaint number [protected]. Wonderful service indeed!
The customer service also gave me the number of Star Services and every number given by them is either wrong or not attended by their representative Mr. Fernandes. I have also sent several mails to [protected]@vgmail.in . Every time I get a prompt response saying the complaint would be attended.
This is the kind of Customer service provided by the Videocon Group who sell such sub standard products. Customers should be wary of buying such products like Videocon, Sansui etc which belong to the same group.
I am going to make it known in all forums so that more and more people are aware of the service they can expect if they pick up such a product.

I regret to inform you that my 21 inch color television under warranty has met some internal problem due to which the picture goes off the screen after few seconds only. i reached to your authorised service provider at srinagar and informed about the case. the authorised persons there told me that they will send their technician at home to inspect. but no one came till a month passed. i went again, and i recieved the same answer. then i used to call them on phone very often, but all last they totally deneid to have the television repaired. six months elapsed but no one came. now i am left with the only solution to infrom the higher authorities, or i will have to throw the scrap.
Hi this is to inform all potential consumers that sansui/ videocon/ kenstar are all owned by one brand videocon and their service centre at marol andheri w is purely a fraudulent money making business.
They attend your call within 24 hrs but then they open your tv and repair and charge then again after 3 days the tv goes dead then they open again and say few other parts are gone...so you land up spending thousands and then too no gaurantee. of the tv working. It is shameful but this the biggest TV Electronics company Videocon /Sansui of India has no morals. God save the company and innocent consumers!!!
