Samsung fridge digital inverter
I am Mrs Rasool I had bought a Samsung Digital Inverter fridge from Dion Wired in 2015 price of about R10000.00. The fridge is in a perfect condition no scratches chips or any form of damage as it is well cared for. For a few months now there seems to be water leaking from the casing in which the globe/light is fitted
Logged a call with the Samsung help desk and we did all the testing on the phone and then she logged a call for a technician to come out
After a few days the technician came out and within 2 mintes he says that nothing can be done
how is this possible? if the fridge was damaged because of negligence there should be visible evidence
the fridge is in an immaculate condition
He promised to write a report to Samsung to see what can be done.. Never heard anything after that and 3 weeks later I called the help desk again for a response on the call out.
everytime I speak to an agent at the call centre they say they will follow up or escalate and call me back and NOBODY calls back
Theses are the names of call centre agents who are still to call back
Lerato
Evelyn
Buyisile
Khanyiso
and today Lauren — hope she is going to make a difference and call me back
If I dont get a call back today with some answers I will go to consumer council and"Hello Peter"because I cannot afford to just throw away a R10000.00 fridge which I originally bought on the consolation of the 10 Year Waranty that is so boldly advertised on the fridge
If the water is leaking is it not some kind of mechanical problem?
Desired outcome: fix it or replace it
Samsung mobile service center - bad servicing
I had to undergo an very unpleasant situation with one of service / repair center in Sri Lanka.
I had to visit to a repair center as I had to get replaced touch display of my mobile phone.
After checking with many times via online customer care chat, I got a repair pricing and a service location to visit get done my replacement.
Asked me to visit "The Phone Company" No. 04, R.A De Mel Mawatha,
Colombo 04..
I visited them and checked with them on the repair and confirmed to replace after I got confirmed the pricing. Even by that time I had total repair estimate via online agent. And also given me the repair estimated duration as to 3-5 days.
Given it on 05th And confirmed that I can get it back most probably on 9th and ask me to check by calling them on 8th Nov.
I tried getting via mobile, on 8th, NO ONE REALLY picking a phone..!
Was able to get them on next day after several tries. and transferred me to the service center and said that, they will get back to me on status. Until now that promised call didn't received..!
And only it was today I could talk to a person, as most of the times, after auto attendant, NO ONE ANSWERS., and call had to drop after several minutes of stay.
Today, after days, they ask me to stay one more weeks as they have no parts..!
And saying that shipments are in delay.
Before I handed over I got verified at the service location, the delivery times, and the parts availability.. With that only I handed over, If they confirmed that, they don't have required parts, I would have gone to the next service centre which is almost closer to this.. at the same road. (Softlogic Samsung Mobile Service Center, No. 518, R A De Mel Mawatha, Colombo 03.)
few things would have been happen..!
They would have taken the repair service, withour parts available..! as to the conversation, they confirmed so at the very first dialog.
As I went mad with their service behavior, They were saying that they had that parts at the time when the phone is taken for repair and it's gone now..!
How that can be happen with an authorized service center, They represent "SAMSUNG" .. I didn't visited them.. I went with the expectation of SAMSUNG service level and quality, I would have been get this done from a boutique shop the same original display closer to the same cost but in hours..!
But I accepted this 3-5 days because I believe the service done by SAMSUNG PROFESSIONALS.
And is it good that customers are misleading, providing false information or lying when they get back on inquiry.
This is not FREE service.. we pay a good decent price for a original part..!
Is it the way that AUTHORIZED SAMSUNG customer care ..?
For me, I'm using Samsung mobiles over many years now. All recent ones bought from authorized Samsung dealer..!
As one of key player in SL, your service levels are not up to the level..!
As far as I know, Huawei is very much improved in their servicing customers and at lower costs too..!
When we go to a place where so called "AUTHORIZED DEALER" we expect that service with higher expectations.. We come because of the loyalty..! loyalty for the ORIGINAL BRAND, that's why we buy from " Authorized" go to a "Authorized" service centers to buy ORIGINAL..
It's because brand LOYALTY when there are several other ways and options available..!
I went this agent because the ONLINE chat agent from SAMSUNG given the location to visit. If not I would have gone to Softlogic where I never had a bad experince.
Desired outcome: AUTHORIZED SERVICE LEVELS must be improved, Customer service center/ call center seems no responsible on inquiries made or information that they promised to revert back to customers
S21
The sound function on my phone stopped working. Took it to ATT, they said all settings are correct. Got on the phone with support, they took control, they cannot make it work.
Now they tell me I have to drive to a service center miles away to have them look at it.
The phone malfunctions, and I am the one who has to drive around, sit around for hours for them to try to fix it.
Horrible customer service, will not likely buy a Samsung product in the future.
Desired outcome: Just send a new phone and refurb this one, much easier
Galaxy watch 3 died, told warranty doesn't cover repair
I purchased a Samsung Galaxy Watch 3 in December 2020. The primary purpose for the purchase was to track my exercise. My primary exercise is swimming, and the watch is advertised as being able to use it swimming. It worked fine until a little more than 10 months after I purchased it, when one day it quickly discharged, then wouldn't recharge and I was unable to turn it on. I contacted Samsung customer support, and they determined I would need to send it in for repair. I shipped it and several days later got an email stating that it was not covered under warranty and I would need to spend $187 to get it repaired and returned to me. I contacted support again, and after going through text support, called, and went through 3 customer service reps including a supervisor. All told me that the reason the warranty did not cover the repair (it has a 1 yr warranty) is because of "liquid damage" to the motherboard. So, using the watch in one of the ways it was intended to be used, it's now my fault that it's not working. I spent a total of more than 3 hours to hear "I'm sorry and I understand why you're upset, but there's nothing more we can do." I told them I would not pay for the repair, because I don't intent to invest any more money into an already expensive watch when I cannot even use it for the purpose I purchased it for to begin with. I have owned many Samsung products (3 smartphones, 2 tablets, 2 TVs) and been very happy with them, but I must say this experience has soured me significantly
Desired outcome: My watch repaired and returned to me
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold2 5G and the Galaxy Tab S 8.4 LTE T707A
Loyal Samsung customer here; tv's, tablets and phones. I have purchased the Galaxy fold 3 times, then the Galaxy Tablet - Galaxy Tab S 8.4 LTE T707A 3 times. All in I have spent well over 7 thousand dollars in investments, and ready to switch providers and move to the dreaded iPhone or other competitors.
Tablet (which I was able to return 2 of the same model within the warranty period) Galaxy Tab S 8.4 LTE T707A, but this time the warranty expired in May of 2018. The first 2 were replaced no charge for an eradic black screen. Now the 3rd replacement doesn't hold a charge, and yes I have only charged with Samsung products.
Thus I opted to buy the newer Galaxy Zfold, and just stopped using the table. The Z fold had to keep getting returned, because the tablet portion of the phone keeps bleeding like black ink, and thus when unfolded is not operable. Spoke with At&t in Aug of 2021 for the 10th time, and they told my they no longer offer product warranties. ONLY insurance with Asurion, who has canceled me due to too many returns, even though they are product defects. After contacting Samsung directly, found out this is FALSE. There is a product warranty that I was covered under. So on my 2nd replacement, I basically bought a replacement phone out of pocket vs via product warranty replacement.
Desired outcome: Would like a response from Att&t and Samsung and other product offers
Dishwasher
We purchased a dishwasher at Home Depot in April of this year. The dishwasher stopped working end of August 2021. Our initial contact with Repair was 9/4/2021 - since then, we have had (7) SEVEN technicians to our home, today was the 7th, and it is still not working. You can view our account Thomas Zepp - 330.495.9064. We were told today by the tech to contact Samsung and ask for an ECR. 1 hour and a 40-minute wait. We ended up hanging up. We contact Home Depot hoping they can put us in contact with the Samsung rep. Nope. 2 months, and we are still without a functioning dishwasher that was 5 months old when it broke down. Now holidays are coming up. We would like someone to contact us immediately. We would like a voucher for a new dishwasher, as at this point. Did I mention, the techs have been out SEVEN times, and the dishwasher is still not working? You can contact 330.495.9063 or 330.495.9064. Our address is 350 Edgewood St SE North Canton.
Desired outcome: New Dishwasher
NX 60 slide in range
Purchased directly from Samsung, this range has a defective oven cavity. Unable to keep any racks in place when anything is placed in oven. Inspected by Samsung certified repair shop, we were told this unit has frame damage and warped walls which bow out, making it impossible to correctly install or use racks. Contacted Samsung.com and currently have two service tickets. The only response from Samsung to date is that their warranty does not cover physical damage. Purchased from Samsung, shipped by Samsung, and yet they claim they are not responsible for damages for a product that came directly from Samsung. This range is not repairable, and must be replaced. With a $3000 price tag, I expected better from Samsung. Unfortunately, I have a new range hood and refrigerator to complete my newly renovated kitchen, otherwise I would be looking at another brand.
Repair services
I purchased a Samsung 32" FRAME TV. After a month, it stopped turning on. Since I purchased it direct from Samsung, I contacted them for service and arranged to ship the item to their repair depot.
I asked them to ship an empty box to me so I could return this fragile unit safely. They declined and assured me that I could take it to a UPS store and they would package and ship it. I paid $40, then used the prepaid label Samsung provided to return the unit.
I was next contact by Samsung and told that I needed to pay $140 to fix the TV. I asked why, since it was clearly under warranty and was told there had been damage in shipping. I refused to pay additional money and told them to keep the unit as well as offering some suggestions about what they might do with it.
Their pre-paid shipping label did NOT have insurance on it. UPS claims it's not their fault.
Samsung should do what Apple does--send an empty box for the customer to return the unit it to reduce the risk of damage during shipping.
This was on serial number 0A7Z3CER700269X of model QN32LS03TBFXZA.
Desired outcome: New Samsung 32" Frame TV that works or a full refund
Gas range
I have a top of the line samsung gas range that I reported to have a gas leak when baking on September 22, 2021. A repair call was scheduled for October 27 (over a month later) from a service center in Ashland, Va. I live in Fredericksburg, VA. The repair man came on the October 27 date and could not perform the repair because a special test tape was not available. A second repair call was scheduled for today, November 3 and someone called early and said that they would be here between 10 and noon today. Noone has arrived and the range, a top of the line gas range) cannot be used for baking. It is nearing Thanksgiving and the oven would be used a great deal between November 15 and January 1 2022. During the previous repair visit, the repair man said that he could not replace any parts until Samaung approved the replacement even if it was defective. I cannot find local repair shops to do Samsung repair. How long do I have to wait for repair f;rom your company?
Desired outcome: Repair or replace stove
Samsung washer serial no. 058usnam106290
I purchased this Washer and Dryer set in August of 2019. The original price being just under $1, 400.00. Since then I have had 4 service calls from what the Samsung technician calls "overly sensitive sensors" and what I call a product defect. One of the reasons I purchased this washer was for the small separate washer on top as I was due to have my 2nd child in less than 30 days and thought this would be a phenomenal feature for those unexpected blowouts. Every time I use it I get an error LC1 and water under the machine. Instead of a convenience its become a HUGE inconvenience. Before this washer I bought a $400 Whirlpool washing machine from Sears outlet that I NEVER required service on and now regretting that I left at my last house due to an out of state move. Please help!
Desired outcome: Replacement
Fridge glass spontaneously shattered (model rf27t5201sg)
On 10/25/21, the lower glass shelf of the refrigerator spontaneously shattered, there were only a few pounds of items sitting on the shelf (see photos). I was sitting at my desk working in complete silence when I heard it shatter, I had not opened the fridge in about 2 hours.
This is an extremely dangerous product, I had to throw away some of the food from above and below (both drawers) because the glass shattered into so many pieces. There is no reason for this to happen, this product needs to be recalled and replaced with something metal/rigid plastic, my cat grabbed a piece of glass that fell after I opened the door, and luckily I was able to wrestle the piece away from her before she swallowed it. I can't imagine some child opening the door to have an avalanche of glass shards fall into their eyes
I called customer service and they had the gall to tell me that my warranty is still active (purchased on 12/28/20 and the serial number is 0CEA43ANA01293F) but that this part does not fall under warranty? Is this a joke? At the very least someone from Samsung needs to acknowledge their fault here and send a replacement part.
Desired outcome: Apologize, and send replacement shelf

Trying to get someone to repair it. We bought 4 door french fridge It was making a lot of noise called Samsung made appt for technician to come out on Friday the canceled it because there was emergency, evidently only one tech in MD now they can't come out to next Thursday. Also the door is rusting on it, they were not concerned about that either. It is eight yrs old just my husband and myself no abuse. Now the icemaker won't work, I will never buy an appliance made by SAMSUNG OR LG. TVS fine

Galaxy View 18.4" 64GB
Half of my touch screen stopped working. Screen itself was fine. Contacted Samsung they said digitizer repair $99. After paying and mailing it in. They called and said they want to replace the screen and digitizer at a cost of $328. But there was nothing wrong physically with either of them. I asked to speak with 2 supervisors, explaining I already paid for the repair. There is no physical damage in any way why should they change the LCD screen at such a high cost? I felt this was misleading and dishonest. Clearly it was a software issue. Either way the repair was listed as Digitizer repair $99. They should be honest and stick to the cost quoted and paid for!
Desired outcome: Repaired tablet for cost quoted!
Samsung Washing machine WA50R5400AW
I purchased a Samsung Washer on 5/5/21. By 10/1/21, it no longer would spin. I tried calling Lowe's where I bought it who referred me to Samsung repairs. I call them and after playing service technician with guy on the phone attempting to repair it, we exhausted all possible resources and he agrees I need a technician. But can I make an appointment? NO! I have to wait several additional days for a company named Cyber World to even call me to finally actually make the appointment. I don't have time for this! I NEED this machine! I paid almost $900 and it didn't even make it 5 months. I had a local guy repair it (cost me $214.50) he tells me if this doesn't repair it he would need to replace whole motor as well as that is the only way to fix it. I was in the middle of second load to wash after repair and guess what? NO SPINNING AGAIN! I had to removed about 40 lbs if soaking wet towels and transport them outside (from my second story) to wring them out enough to put in dryer. I attempted again to have the machine repaired but I was again given a far off appointment date which is unacceptable! This machine was UNDER WARRANTY! I have just ordered another brand of washer to be delivered this week! You all ripped me off! I am furious and should be reimbursed for this machine! I am 60 years old and not in great health and don't have time or energy to keep being jacked around on a good faith purchase! You received ALL my money immediately but I cannot count on you! I want reimbursed.
Desired outcome: Reimbursement
Samsung Galaxy Notebook20 Ultra
My case file number with T-Mobile is [protected]. My name is Vicki Green [protected]. I sent my Samsung Galaxy Notebook20 Ultra to be unlocked because the phone was not accepting the unlock code in the AT&T store or the T-Mobile store. I used the bar code you gave me to ship the phone in October 2021. I received a call from you stating the phone is fixed. I pray they mean unlocked. Anyway, you wanted a receipt with the IMEI number printed on it. I called Ms. Christina Castro with the AT&T Office Of the President who stated they do not put the IMEI number on the receipt due to infringement issues. She asked me if Samsung would accept a letter from the AT&T Office of the President stating this along with the receipt showing the phone has been paid for in full. I spoke with Emerita badge number [protected] in Tech support who informed me that I would need the Proof of Activation with the IMEI number. She told me that I would have to call back despite the long hold times and text a screenshot to whoever service my call so I can get my phone back. I spoke with Ms. Castro with AT&T who said she would see if she could get the proof of activation with the IMEI number. She wasn't sure because she was NEVER asked to do this before.
I own a Samsung TV, Cell Phone, and Washing Machine because I thought your products were exceptional and your customer service was exemplary. Unfortunately, I was wrong. I'm going to slowly phase out one product at a time and get rid of anything Samsung. I've been a loyal Samsung customer for over 15 years without any problems but this really, really horrible experience as well as the long hold times, very poor customer service is enough to keep anything Samsung out of my home. The FCC gave me a website for merchant complaints that is my next stop if this proof of activation option doesn't pan out. I will take this as far as I have to. I refuse to allow Samsung to stel my property.
Desired outcome: I want my Samsung Galaxy Notebook20 Ultra back unharmed and unlocked.
Ice maker and cooling drawer
The icemaker broke and was leaking from the bottom. Now the cooling drawer is freezing everything. My floor is ruined from the leaking refrigerator. The refrigerator is only 3 years old. The icemaker cost $385 and what will the drawer cost. I am entirely fed up. I'm retired and on a fixed budget. Please help me with this costly problem. I called Samsung they got a work order started and I was flabbergasted that I was asked for $139.99 for a service call. I also just purchased a Samsung top of the line washer and dryer just this past January😫. Please help make this right.
Desired outcome: Samsung cover repairs and I’d be very happy. I was not aware that I would have such a problem with a company I thought I could rely on.

DearSir/Madam
On 6th September 2021, I purchased a Brand new pre paid Samsung Note 20 5G from a Samsung store in Cannal walk Cape Town which I came to believe is a refurbished device.
The whole story is in the latter part of this complaint which was sent to Samsung on the 13th September to which they never replied to me in writing other than a phone call saying theres nothing they can do. Im still waiting for a written reply.
However, after samsung was reluctant to investigate the matter, but still within my 7 day OBF period, I took my phone to Samsung Repair centre in Bellville to see if they can tell me when my device was originallyactivated. They told me theres no way samsung can tell when a device was originally activated.. In this technological age..I couldnt believe my ears. I also asked them to check the battery as it was running down very quickly and the proximity censor also didnt always work properly. when i went to collect the phone the reception lady informed me that they cudnt find anything wrong with the battery or censor. The report is attached of which I dont understand what it all says.
I have since been advised by a samsung employee to check with the Phone Info app as to whether my phone was refurbished and the result was indeed that my device was refurbished.
Below is my complaint which was emailed to Samsung customer care on 13 September 2021, and they since never replied to me in writing other than a phone call telling me theres nothing they can do.
I sent them an email and they should reply to me in writing.

Thank You
Dear Sir/Madam
IMEI [protected]
On 6th September 2021, I purchased a pre paid Samsung Note 20 5G from Your Samsung store in Cannal walk Cape Town.
On the 8th of the same month I returned the device to the store because there were indications that it was not a brand new device. I discovoured that Security updates and Google play System updates were done on the device in March and January 2021 respectively.
When I point it out to the staff members Wahied, Riaan and Yolanda they all had different reason to explain it away and would not accept the fact that the device wasnt Brand New. In fact the Manageress Yolanda said that the first date is set by Samsung and the second by Icasa
At one point Riaan offered to prove to me that the device also wasnt fake. When I asked him to show me.. he refused.
I aslo asked Riaan..since they activated the divice on the 6th, that they show me on their system the activation date. I was told thats only for staff.
When I aslo noticed how quickly the battery is running down I was wondering if thats perhaps the reason why Wahied told me that for the first 3 weeks the battery will run down a but until it understands the way I use the device. But im not even a lot on the phone.
I also noticed that when Riaan opened the device and was setting it up that all he did was switching the phone on after removing it from the box.
I asked him why he didnt go through the normal procedure like when a new phone is being set up the first time.. like selecting Language and country etc... he replied that he did do it.
I then told him that i was wathcing him and that none of that even came up while he had the phone.. He then had a different answer saying that nowadays on new devices those settings are automatically selected by the device itself...if so, , then why did he not tell me that in the first place.
Yes..the device was sealed and wrapped in plastic, but I know all about sealed refurbished Samsung Note 20''s being sold as new devices.
In January 2021 I bought 2 Note 20''s (at different times and different stores after the first one was found to be refurbished) from Powerbite and CA Cell respectively . Both units were sealed with a Samsung sticker wrapped in plastic but I discovoured that it wasnt new devices. Without argument I was fully refunded on both occasions. The one supllier actually offered me the device at a lower price..but I wasnt interested.
Then I decided to buy from reputable dealer Vodacom. However their device was OBF on day one. I requested a refund but Vodacom refused.
I contact Samsung and was told Samsung cant help me since I didnt buy the device from a Samsung dealership itself. So after a 5 and a half month battle with Vodacom I was finally refunded.
When I finally got my money back I decided to buy a phone from Samsung trusting this time i will get a brand new device and if I have any hassles, then Samsung has to deal with it..nomore passing the buck.
I really thought that once I buy from Samsung that my phone problems will finally come to an end ...but I just cant believe that after 8 months Im still struggling to buy a brand new Note 20. When I had problems with the phone I purchased from vodacom then Samsung told me that if I had bought the device from samsung itself they would have been able to help me. Now that I have actually bought a phone from samsung, they tell me they dont own the stores therefore they cant help me despite the fact of what they had told me previously.
I kindly request that you give this matter your urgent attention please. As you can see I could have gone for a different brand but Samsungs features and the Note was my brand over the years
As i mentioned earlier I took the device to Samsung Cannal walk on the 8th, though they wouldnt replace the device this is all within my 7 day OBF period
Thanking You

Dishwasher DW80F600UTS P/N DD82-01093A S/N B00AG8DG503490B
I would like to know why I can't find the part I need for my DISHWASHER. I have had this item for about 5 years. I have looked on line, called SEVERAL numbers and everyone says this item is DISCONTINUED. I have several SAMSUNG products in my house and this is "not" the first time I have had problems. First the icemaker for my refrigerator went out (which is still not working ) My stove caught on fire and had to have a control board replaced. Now its my dishwasher. As of this time I don't believe I want to purchase any more SAMSUNG APPLIANCES. As for now I'm going to have to buy a new DISHWASHER. Guess what, I'm going to look at other manufacturers.
I would say thanks. But what am I saying thanks for.
I guess thanks for who ever sees this letter and reads it.
