Sam's Club review: Store policy

I am buying beer with my usual household items, Saturday afternoon on Oct 18 2025, at the Apopka, Fl Sam’s club. At the self check out the store worker as usual came to check my ID except this afternoon she wants the ID’s of myself my wife and my 17 year old grandson, who does not have his wallet. She says the store policy will not let me purchase the cases of beer unless he that is my grandson has his ID? Since when? I thanked the young lady and left the store. Hello Costco, good by Sam's
