On 6/1/2025 at approximately 4:45 pm MST I was at the Safeway located on Havana St. in Aurora CO. While waiting my turn in line at a regular checkout station, there was a gentleman in front of me who was trying to use a Grubhub link on his phone. The cashier (Jozette) told him she couldn't help him but then spent 5 min. tapping his phone. There were two people with a large amount of food behind me who were visually as frustrated as I was, so finally I said, could you have someone else help this man because my dog is in the car and its hot outside. Without even looking at me, the cashier says I'm busy and it's not your turn. Finally, she suspended his order and sent him over to customer service. He had paid cash for some deli chicken and left his coin change. I took it over to him and he thanked me. The Cashier then failed to give me my total, so I was waiting to tap my debit card. She tells me, now who's holding up the line? I paid and thanked the young girl who bagged my groceries. I pulled my cart forward to adjust an item in my bag and heard the cashier tell the bagger what a rude woman I was. She made the comment in front of other customers, so I turned and said I just heard what you said. She says good, I'm glad. I informed her that I would be complaining about her behavior and again she said good.
I have never been treated so badly at a store in my life and feel that Jozette should be fired.
Desired outcome: I want Jozette fired.
