Safeway review: Products department
At 11:05 am, I was shopping at the Safeway on Nexus and Valencia. I was looking for carrots when I saw a non-service dog stand by where I need to go. I saw the non-service dog with no identifiable vest on stating the dog is a service dog. The owner was on his phone, and the dog was behind him, and the dog had his nose on the celery sniffing the celery. A product man walks up to me and asks if I was okay. I told him that dog is sniffing the celery and his nose touch the celery. the worker did not remove the celery but continue to watch me, I was waiting for the man to move so I can get my carrots. the dog was a mid-size German shepherd dog. So, I asked Safeway is it okay for non-service dogs to sniff and nose touch the product. I will not be buying my product from that store ever.
