Safeway complaining about manager being rude to employees

Earlier today I was at Safeway Deli in Hollister Ca, and I noticed, I believe it was the store manager talking down to a lady named Margie while she was working I couldn't see why he was upset because the lady was doing her job, It was very disturbing to watch. It was very unprofessional the man doesnt know what the woman is going through to be treating her with such disrespect. I hope this was enough information, please have a talk with the man, I'm a regular customer and I dont want to see employees be treated like dirt

Safeway delivery

I have been a regular Safeway delivery customer for more than a year. I order each week and spend at least $150 per delivery. Twice in the past few months, my delivery has been cancelled at the last minute because enough drivers were not available. One cancellation I was not even told about, the second, which occurred today (Dec. 21) was cancelled about an hour before it was due - the driver did have the courtesy to call. I was able to reschedule for Dec. 22 - so hopefully it will actually happen. I think there is a management problem at the store where the deliveries originate - it is the Salmon Creek Store on Hwy. 99. For some reason, the employees responsible for getting the orders together do not seem to be capable of doing it in a timely manner. (Maybe they should undergo drug testing!) I think that Safeway corporate needs to look into the obviously poor management going on at this store's delivery department.

Safeway pharmacy

Today was the fifth time in the past year that Safeway pharmacy in Colorado Springs on Galley and Circle that they've lost, misplaced or neglected to fill my prescriptions. I call the animated system and they give me a pick up time. Usually I go to pick up my prescriptions 24 hours AFTER the estimated pick up time. Today was the last time I'll ever go to any Safeway for anything. The pharmacy tech actually said "I dunno, I guess the automatic system didn't work ". He shrugged and just stood there

Safeway delivery services

Safeway delivery has been the worst service I have ever received in my entire life, and my family will not be using Safeway as our grocery store from here on out. This all started with a delivery for my Thanksgiving groceries, I placed the order online on 11/19 for delivery on 11/20 with a delivery window for 6pm-10pm. I waited the 4 hours for the delivery, which never showed. At approx 11:00pm the driver called and said he "had a flat tire and couldn't make it" and someone would be calling me first thing in the morning to reschedule. I never received that phone call and had to wait on hold (while at work) for almost a hour to speak to a representative. I understand that the woman answering the phone had no part in this, so I was extremely calm. She said they did not have any delivery times until Wednesday. Wednesday came, I waited, no delivery. I had to wait for 3 days (due to the holiday) to speak to someone. They refunded my money and gave me $45 in credit, for the delivery service, so I was obligated to use it on that. I reluctantly ordered another order, well over the $45 credit and spent $35 of my own money as well. This delivery was set to come on 12/3. We got a call on 12/3 saying they were short staffed and would be late (SHOCKER). When they arrived, I was charged an additional $20 making my out of pocket expense $55 (since they didnt use one of the coupon codes that was entered). They also forgot: a lb of ground beef, eggs, and steamed broccoli. At this point, something has to change. This is the worst experience I have ever had and judging by your yelp reviews, this isnt a first either. I am extremely disappointed since Safeway was the closest grocery store to me, but moving forward, I'll take the longer drive to Raleys. Over the holiday, I told all family members and friends as to what happened, and I can tell you that you've lost several orders, and will be losing more due to this. I have emailed customer support twice and still no response!

Safeway expiration date

I went to the Safeway in Fort Collins, the one on Harmony two times, the 12 and 13 of December a little before they were suppose to close. When I went in on the 12 I was browsing not really knowing what I wanted, so I went to see the deals on the breakfast meats, first thing that I notice was a bag of old bacon (I saw it just by the color), so I took it and gave it to an employee that was restocking the fruit and veggie area and let him know that it was old, he checked the expiration date, made a nasty face and told me " I wouldn't eat that, it's expired" and threw it on the pile of fresh product that he had... Just their it's two health codes violations, the first: expired product; the second: cross contamination with fresh food. I didn't say anything, walked away and continued shopping. I decided to get some pork chop that was packed that day, cooked it right after arriving to my apartment (I live one minute walk from Safeway), woke up the next day feeling like shiit, I had a really bad stomach ach, I felt week, I was hot and I wanted to vomit (had to work two jobs 12h total that same day), that wasn't fun at all. I go back to Safeway a little skeptical after I'm done working that day to get a couples more stuff. I go to the breakfast meat area once again and this time I see sausage links that looks a little old ( almost had the same color than the bacon that I discoverd the night before) with NO expiration date on it, I look to see if it was the only one... and no their was at least 4 more of them with the same color and still NO expiration date, and even the frozen ones had no expiration date. I decided to check the other meats in that area and 3/4 of the breakfast meats had NO expiration dates, so I decided to go see an employee to help me because I'm like " I'm tired and it's probably my eyes", HELL NA, even him didn't see any expiration date, he happened to be one of the floor managers and was really professional and I really appreciated it, I will not be able to recall his name but he knew what the problem was, I even appologise to him for complaining that much and he understood my frustration. I don't wanna be the one to say this but I'm going to, that's a BIG health code violation, everything that's on the floor should be dated especially the meats, you guys are playing with people's health and it's NOT okay. One day somebody is gonna get REALLY sick and will sue the company and you will loose Big and not just Big dollars sign, seriously the employees should know better. I will not put my feet back in that store or even in any Safeway store, it's a bumer because it was really handy to me since I live right next to it but I rather waste gas money somewhere else than walking and having the fear of buying something that I have no idea since when it was on the floor. Oh and one last thing, on the 12 when I checked out I went to the self checkout (like I always do) and the manager (he was wearing a blue long sleeve) was looking at me suspiciously kinda like if I was steeling something, I DO NOT APPRECIATE THAT AT ALL, if theirs a problem come to me, but do not look at me like I'm a thief!.

Safeway crystal light lemonade

Been buying Crystal Light for several years. The latest purchase in weak and the packaging is for 5 pitcher packs instead of the old 6 pack. I know you have changed the formula for the Lemonade, and it isn't even close to the quality just a few weeks ago.
So disappointed in your change in the product.
You were #1, but now you aren't even in the race. So sorry.

Safeway rude and time consuming..

Today I was in your homestead Santa Clara CA location​, and every time I go in to cash my WIC coupons cashiers always give me an idditude like if it's a crime to have WIC and today in particular the cashier was not only rude but also too close to 5 minutes just to do one check.. I asked for my checks back and decided to not do the rest of the items as I don't have time to be 30 minutes trying to check out. It's rediculous and when I asked to have some kind of information to complain to someone about this they just simply didn't care at all. I will never returned to this location ever. It's just humiliating how they make me feel. I hope you do something about this! The time I was in was at 3:15pm

Your complaint was hard to read due to your grammar and run-on sentences. That being said, if you've ever worked retail, WIC checks are not always easy to process and can be time consuming. I say that as someone who has both received WIC and processed it.

Safeway manager of safeway locate on 1298 west capital ave sacramento

On Dec 15 at 1PM, I bring all my coins to the Safeway, took me 3 hours to finish the transaction, then I'm ready to redeem my coinstar paper to the cash, but when I give to the store "manager Nathan " he take look for 5 seconds, then hand me back all the papers I have, at bad mood reply me, don't have the money, call the other department for this, and he was arguing with me about this, never have any store would say the things like him, he was not patient at all, and he said don't want to talk with this kind people like me? Excuse me ! What kind manager is this ? I will not give away with this, this Safeway must give me a reason and apologize for this one, this manager should not be in this store, never ! This is costumer rights, I'm here is not solve the problem for him, he is the manager of the store, he should solve problem for costumers!

Safeway about security and management

On December 13th at 6:30 me and my brother and her the store and grab the cart to go shopping with and we were talking to each other and the security guard and Safeway got into our conversation and started getting aggressive talking about he was going to knock this out and if you go back and look at the videos you can plainly see he was in our face being rude and unprofessional. I asked for management management came over a Mexican lady and we were talking to her about the situation that was going on and how he got into our conversation me and my little brothers and how he was going to knock this out. And at that time he became verbal again saying he was going to be this up and knock me out for no reason. I feel this is unprofessional and something should be done about this this happened in Des Moines Washington. You can reach me at Johnny Harrington 1972 gmail.com. I would appreciate it if you look into this and let me get a response from this because I love shopping at Safeway and we ended up having to go to Fred Meyers and we ended up spending over $200. That's money that Safeway missed out on and that is where I love the shop because I get better deals so I ended up losing out on money as well because I would have saved by shopping at Safeway but management asked us to leave politely I don't know what she did with him but he was rude and unprofessional saying he was going to knock me or my little brother out. So please contact me and investigate this I would appreciate it thank you.

Safeway the ice cream which I bought was expired

I did shopping at 2ed Dec 2017 in safeway that located 1625 Kenaston Blvd, winnipeg, MB R3P2M4 Canada. I found one ice cream was expired, the print date of best before is :2017, 09/14. I was suprise it was already 3 month passed but this food still in store and available, that's too bad. In my mind safeway, sobey are good store in my living area, usually I visit this two store for shopping, it seem the sobey is much better .

Safeway cashier

I visited the Safeway in Redwood City, CA on 12/1 at 20:44 pm. I checked out with a cashier named Irene. She was EXTREMELY rude and disrespectful towards me. One of my items had ended up in the person in front of me's bag and Irene pointed her finger at me, raised her voice and said "you did that, you did that, that was your fault, I saw you do that!"
I honestly do not know if it was my fault, but what was this incident worth her getting upset over when it could easily be fixed? Additionally, if she saw me do it, then why didn't she stop and correct me/herself from adding it to the other customer's items? Her behavior was extremely unprofessional and aggressive towards me, and I left the store in tears. Is this how Safeway wants their cashiers to treat their paying customers?

Safeway customer service

I was at your Safeway store at 200 S. Quebec street in Denver, Colorado. I went up to the service desk around 830 to 840pm and apprpached the counter. I had 2 scratch off lottery tickets that were winners. The employee behind the counter, Denise, was talking to a customer on the side (not where customers were lining up before me) and the conversation seemed personal, like w friends catching up. My issue is that Denise looked over me waiting numerous times and didn't even acknowledge my presence. Even just a "Be right with you" would have sufficed. I finally said, "Hello, can you help me?" And with attitude Denise replied, "Well what is that you need?" I couldn't believe it. She contiuned to give attitude as I pointed out I was standing there and she wasn't even acknowledging me. She didnt say a word as she put the cash I had won the counter. I said thank you and she again stayed silent. I was just put off by her rudeness. You dont ignore your customers. We are not there to inconvenience you. We are there to keep you in business.

Safeway incorrect prices and rude customer service

Today, I purchased an item off the discontinued/markdown rack. The packaging reads reg price $4.99 now 50% off. I purchase the item and it discounts the item for .75 cents. The girl at the register says take it to customer service desk for correction which I did. I explained as it reads 50% off the reg price is not 75 cents. This young lady proceeds to explain that I did get the best price because the item is already on sale. Not sure how she arrived at that since the sticker on the item and the receipt both reflect reg. price $4.99 and it charged me $4.24. She says I don't understand and that I am getting the best price. She was very loud and rude in my opinion. I ask for a full refund of the amount I was charged she refunded me $4.49.. the cost plus tax. That is not 50% of $4.99. This is not the first time either..the Saturday after Thanksgiving they had the fresh turkeys on sale for .29 cents a pound. It did not ring up at check out and I had to go to the customer service desk for a correction. The girl says she was not sure why these are not ringing up correctly.. but no indication that this information has been relayed to those at check out. So were they ripping everyone off? If you did not check your receipt? I have been shopping at this store for sometime and really like the store and the location..but this makes me think I should take my shopping elsewhere.

Safeway customer service

My name is karra Durland, I recently applied for a position at Webster Rd, as a curdisy clerk but the position was already taken. I even went on the interview and I spoke to a lady named Tanya. I called back 2 times to see if they had anymore openings because I really wanted this job. The second time I called I spoke to Tayna again she rudely said i don't have to call every day! She was not polite to me and she does know I have a minor disability and I'm not sure why I didn't get the postion on Monday 20th when she called me and said to be there at 1:30 pm I made it with one minute to spare. I called to check on another postion today and that's when she was rude to me. Sincerely Karra Durland.

Safeway meat hamburg

The last two times I bought Hamburg in two different safeways the meat was bad when I opened it on the day it was to be sold buy.not only was the meat discolored it was smelled bad. I have been shopping at Safeway for twenty years and do not like throwing money away..I want the twenty dollars refund now the first time I let it go now I am complaining about your meat.

Safeway bad customer service

The young lady at the self checkout was rude and the manager was incredibly unprofessional. She closed the door on me when she saw I was waiting to ask a question. When I knocked she asked who it was and I told her it was a customer. She told me that I needed to get get help from someone on the floor.

Honestly I just wrote out a very detailed description but when I hit spell check it all got deleted and its too late for me to write it all out again so thats the condensed version.

On top of that, she gave me a different name than what another employee told me. As if she knew she was in the wrong and didn't want to get her name brought up.

Trader Joes is way too close and friendly for me to have to put up with this staff.

Safeway front end

I was at store # 1431 representative Edgar. Horribly service he was mistaken and was yelling. He made a mistake while refunding and made me pay twice. This is one of the worst branches horrible service. He wouldn't let me speak to a manger he said he went home to sleep. He had the wrong sign up and a normal customer service would give with whatever price the sign is saying. It's not my fault that they don't go over and check for the signs. They aren't trained for customer service. Giant and Whole Foods they have a fantastic Customer service. But this store worst store ever

Many companies do not adjust pricing to match an incorrect advertisement. Regardless of that, did you get refunded for the double charge?

Safeway frisko store

While at the frisko safewsy store on monday 12.27.2017 in the seating area for in store statbucks a manager with the tag TOM began making veiled threats to a female hispanic employee in this public area making statements like if she knew anything about ehat happened and didn't day anythong she was going down with them the employee was clearly on her meal break at the time ehich he interuped a second time. When she asked what he had found he flatly daid he knew what he neefedto know and he wasn't telling her anything. Tom came across as middle manager on a power trip thst rnjoyed making employees fear for their jobs. This was something that should never occured on the employees lunch break or in public. Tom needs some leadship training and a reprimand.

Safeway grocery delivery #[protected]

At 430pm A DELIVERY DRIVER SHOWED UP ..I paid for 10am til 11am delivery ..a bottle of water that I didn't order and a small brown bag of something .. YES I STARTED TO CRY! After waiting all day ..NO way to get thru on the COMPUTERIZED CUSTOMER SERVICE LINE NO GROCERY AND NO MONEY ..I TOLD THE DRIVER I WANTED IMMEDIATE REFUND FOR GROC AND DELIVERY CHARGE ..ITS MON AND I HAVE HEARD NOTHING AND MY MONEY IS STILL NOT ON MY CARD...VERY ANGRY ..NEED IMMEDIATE ATTENTION REGARDING THIS

Safeway response from manager

Every time I inquire about anything at the Safeway in Fountain Hills AZ the manager appears not to care. I inquired for years about a non-dairy ice cream and the response I received was " This is a small store we dont have the room" Of course they can have 50 different kinds of regular ice cream. Finally the provided one. Not a great one but finally one.
This store gets busy due to snow birds. We keep asking for self check-out lanes. I get response such as" It will never happen, It takes away jobs, we tried it before and it doesn't work" I have been a resident for 12 years and dont recall a self check out lane. I use this store only if I have to. I typically go else where. I just think the manager is unprofessional and doesnt really listen to what we ask for. I like to keep my monies in my town but other stores are more accommodating.
