I filed for a refinance over 4 month ago and the company took too long to process loan. I've been in mortgage banking for many years and it never takes 4 months. I believe that the company took too long because I have an obviously Hispanic last name. My complaint is based on the following:
1. Taking too long to process loan.
2. Verification of employment was over kill, it took too long.
3. Mortgagae refinances do not take 4 months
4. Refinance request was made prior to Pandemic
5. Failure to follow Mortgage Refinance Procedure approved by the state.
6. Failure to fully investigate registered discrimination complaint made to
Sr. Research Team.
7. Failure to comply with Fair Lending Act.

Rocket failed to pay insurance before policy expiration. Rocket took funds to pay for their own in-house insurance. Rocket has not suffered for THEIR error. Rocket DEFAULTED on their pledge. If I default Rocket has avenues for recourse. What are mine? Why does Rocket profit when they DEFAULT? Rocket needs to account for their ineptitude.
The phone ends up not letting you speak to them. (800) 4-ROCKET. My husband found another phone number and when I called, I got to speak with someone, and they transferred me to another company I have never had a mortgage through. I tried again and they transferred me to my old mortgage company though the issue is with them.
I was told my modification for my loan was $467.82 per month and in my account shows 2 payments are to be made in 1 month. These people are scam artists. I am disabled and being taken advantage of and misleading me with wrong account information
I believe there is also age discrimination. We are seniors being constantly harassed for more money from Rocket Mortgage. I believe they want to force us out of our home so they can make more money. I do believe Rocket Mortgage is facing several class action lawsuits for discrimination based on race. My husband and I are Black senior citizens who are being mistreated by Rocket Mortgage.
MIs guided information never sent final paper work never followed thru with a Fannie Mae approved program also they kept shuffling me around telling me different thinks to do
