Rocket Mortgage – Refinancing

Rocket Mortagage wouldn’t refund a $500 fee they requested when they initially contacted me to refinance my mortgage (which was previously refinanced 6 months prior). I asked if I would get charged when the resolution specialist indicated they couldn’t give me a lower interest rate or monthly payment. I would be signing on to a mortgage that would be worse for me financially. They said they were keeping the money toward the appraiser when in actuality the house was just appraised 6 months prior. What a disgrace that they would keep a $500 deposit when they couldn’t offer me a better mortgage than what I had. Shame on them
