I just experienced the best customer service I've ever received. Ashley Rodrick at the Broadway Rite-Aid in Seattle went above and beyond to help us figure out an insurance issue that had been preventing my son from getting his meds. Her attention to detail and concern for our situation is greatly appreciated. If not for Ashley, we would not have the medication my son needed so urgently. We are eternally grateful and Rite-Aid is lucky to have such a dedicated and helpful person on their staff. Honestly, she very likely saved my son's life.

Since the store got a new manager. Its clean in the parking lot and in the store. Bathrooms are cleaner.employees are in a way better mood.and the manager there now is a great lady.always saying hi and asking if you need any help.not like the old manager who made fun of certain customers... Happy with online ordering and price
Right after Thanksgiving, I needed vitamins and some other things and I initially chose Amazon and had them in my basket to order at Amazon but after being unhappy with the checkout process there, I decided to see what RiteAid had to offer.
RiteAid was offering 30% off everything and free shipping if you ordered over a certain amount, and on certain vitamins, they were offering 50% off on another bottle, so I ordered 4 bottles of vitamins (I ordered vitamin C and I got another vitamin C for 50% off) and to get the free shipping, I ordered some lip gloss which I was about to run out of.
I was very happy with ordering online at RiteAid. Two of my vitamins were backordered but they should be here today or tomorrow but I got everything else. The shipping was fast and free and I got discounts on everything I bought. I thought their communication after I placed my order was good too.

I had gone to this Rite Aid location earlier on today and when I paid for some of the items with my coupons which were in my binder, I must have accidentally left it on the front counter.
Thankfully after I had arrived home, I called the store and fortunately for ME, their front counter staff had taken care of it so that nobody stole it and I was successfully able to pick it up!
I want to personally Thank the staff that were working at the store at that time for Doing The Right Thing For Their Customer back on Sunday, May 21st, 2023.
Now that is what I call Top Class Rite Aid Service which is Why Customers Keep Coming Back!

Bad staff attitude
I live in Brooklyn and use Rite aid somewhere in Fulton avenue Brooklyn. Today I went to recycle water bottles. A staff directed me to a young store associate who never cared a bit of my reason of coming to the store. While I was still waiting without attention another staff came and was equally on her phone talking to her friend laughing without any care for my need. When finally he finished on his phone he turned to the shelves n I repeated " excuse " three times before he stupidly turned n I told her why I was calling her. She snapped at me telling me she can't help me n I asked her who should I turn to for help and she asked her equally stupid colleague if she knows how to help n that one responded in affirmative. When she was done I repeated three times' thank you and she ignored me. Unknown to me the second girl happened to to be the manager! Both girls are arrogant selfish and should not be anywhere at a corporate place like your company. This has been going on for years with the first girl and I reported to a pharmacy staff who told me that it's been like with people reporting to them all the time.
Please you guys must do something. Investigate this incident please. I plan to call tomorrow to still make a verbal report.
Exceptional Manager MARIA and her great Team associate MIA at Oxford Ave and Bleigh
I am a senior citizen who is overweight. I had to shop for my family and had an absorbent amount of items. In fact I spent over $ 500.00 today, August 10th, 2022. Maria the manager is always super kind PROFESSIONAL AND EXCEEDINGLY HELPFUL. She saw I was struggling to get items to the front area to check out. After waiting on her customers she said I will help you. HELP IS AN UNDERSTATEMENT MARIA THE MANAGER literally picked up my toilet paper, multiple paper towels packs kleenex boxes, detergents, many other items and took them to the front area, rang up everything with her team associate Mia and then Maria baged up and escorted me with my MANY MANY BAGS to my car outside. She placed Everything in my Trunk and backseats as I purchased so many items. I could of never completed my shopping tasks for my family without the EXPERTISE, KINDNESSES AND PROFESSIONALISM OF MARIA THE MAGNIFICENT AS I NOW CALL HER AND MIA THE MASTERPIECE HELPER. I dont know how I would of been able to do it without their strength and going THE EXTRA MILE FOR THEIR CISTOMER that's why I will return to this store Knowing Management like Maria and her team MIA really CARE. Bad customer service
I’ve been calling Rite Aid about my prescription for 3 days now and nobody answers the phone. I’ve called at different times about 20 times a day and no one answers the phone. I went there in person and complained to the manager and she was so nonchalant while she was on phone for about 15 minutes.I complained at the pharmacist counter and her response was “I’m only helping out today”. They want my business and they’re so lackadaisical? I’ll have to go somewhere else. They might soon be out of business.

I've come to the point where I AVOID Rite Aid. I almost NEVER get prescriptions filled there because they are too slow, and many times DO NOT HAVE THE MEDICATION, which requires me to get the prescription transferred to another pharmacy.
HOWEVER, my wife and I used Rite Aid for COVID Testing yesterday, and the service that we received brought them to a new low!
I made appointments for RAPID COVID Tests, because my wife tested positive using a home test, and her employer required a supervised test for pay purposes, and although I tested negative, I was advised to get retested.
Requesting an appointment on their website was a 'soup sandwich' (aka, a mess), requiring the SAME QUESTIONS to be answered MULTIPLE TIMES.
Rude, and inconsiderate service:
1) The appointment notification gave NO instructions, and there was NO SIGNAGE at the store indicating where the testing was to be performed. When I went to the pharmacy to ask, the clerk was VERY nastym saying "I don't know who sent you, but all of our testing is drive through". I told her that i used THEIR WEBSITE, which provided NO information, and there was NO SIGNAGE at the store. SHE JUST GLARED AT ME AND WALKED AWAY! I DO NOT WORK FOR RITE AID, NOR DO I READ MINDS,. HER RESPONSE WAS TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE.
2) At the drive upo window, we had to show our insurance cards and WAIT more than 20 minutes for them to verify our coverage DESPITE THE FACT THAT THEY required my insurance information, and upload my card when I registered for the appointment... THEY HAD MORE THAN 45 MINUTES TO VERIFY MY INSURANCE BEFORE THE APPOINTMENT... WHY DID THEY WASTE MY TIME PROVIDING ALL THAT INFORMATION TO REGISTER IF THEY WEREN'T GOING TO USE IT?
3) The technician who gave us the tests was EXTREMELY IMPATIENT, and bordered on being nasty.
4) When we completed the test, he said we would have the results in 3 to 5 days... when I told him that I ordered a rapid test, he just repeated "You will have the results in 3 to 5 days, GOODBYE"
We had to go to ANOTHER test provider to get more timely results... so Rite Aid WASTED several HOURS of my day. I WILL NEVER GO TO A RITE AID STORE AGAIN... even to get a pack of gum!
Pharmacist says they can't get in the small oxycodone tablets
So before the old manager (DAL) retired, he was getting in the meds I need to take which are the little small 30 mg oxycodone tablets for me because I cannot take Rhoads pharmaceuticals.which are trash and I have the right to refuse those tablets I'm paying for them and I choose not to pay for that trash. Plus they do not work! They are filled with filler.that make me violently sick to my stomach. So because of that I have to drive 45 mins away to go to another rite aid pharmacy which get in the little small, oxycodone tablets in with no problem! Shocking! Because the pharmacist in Waynesboro Rite Aid lied straight through her teeth to my face about it and said they have a 5 year contract with Rhodes pharmaceuticals which may be true but that remains to be seen as they CAN order in other oxycodone 30 mg tablets because IF ONE STORE CAN ORDER THEM IN THEN WHY CANT SHE ORDER THEM IN AT THE WAYNSEBORO PA. Hearing aids
My husband ordered hearing aids from a third party through Rite Aid. The hearing aids did not work and customer service was contacted. They sent a prepaid shipping label to return the product, which we did promptly. That was in November, and we still have not received a refund. On Thursday, January 4, 2023 I arrived for a Covid booster at my Rite Aid on Union Road in West Seneca New York.
I presented my Covid vaccination card to the pharmacist. She refused it saying they don’t accept these cards anymore.
We went to the back room for the shot. At no time did she confirm that I was receiving the Covid vaccine.
After getting the shot I stood up and said that I hoped my side effects from the Covid vaccine is mild as previously experienced. She said that she gave me the flu vaccine. I never get the flu vaccine because I get bad side effects from it. The flu vaccine is linked to Gueillian barre syndrome which runs in my family. I still got the Covid vaccine as I have people in my family with immunity issues.

I've been trying to transfer my prescriptions from the Rite Aid located at 7401 Ogontz Avenue, Philadelphia, PA for two weeks, to the CVS Pharmacy, located at 6344 Stenton Avenue, Philadelphia, PA. I have used rite aid as my pharmacy for 25 years. I have had so many pleasant experiences here. There was a pharmacist named Debbie who actually met me at the Fox island bridge to bring me a medication for a very painful uti because they were closing before I could get there. There is also the kindest male pharmacist there who is always kind and helpful. Possibly Leslie as I read another review that sounded like him.
However the young woman Jasmine maybe at the cash register is always rude. I think she is afraid her face might break if she smiles.
And a woman pharmacist with dark hair who has that same demeanor. I scheduled a vaccination online and they said they didn’t have me on the books so couldn’t serve me. No matter that on the website it said walk ins could get them. I happened to have my phone and showed her the text I had gotten from rite aid reminding me of the time. So she begrudgingly let me get the flu and RSV shots. You didn’t have the new covid one yet but got it in the next week. So I again scheduled on the web, and came in for that shot. I have cancer and am immunocompromised so of course I was relieved to get it. However when I came in just the next week after the earlier fiasco she again said they didn’t have me on the schedule. Sadly I had forgotten my phone so couldn’t show her that I again had a reminder text. She was going to make me go home and get my phone to show her until I reminded her we had gone through this the week before. I said surely I am not the only one this is happening to snd she said something about the web sign up Again no apology just rudeness. I do want to say that the African American (or black if she prefers) woman who gave me the vaccine was extremely nice. I think she was feeling badly for me.
So a couple weeks ago my primary care physician and I wrote up a pain plan with hydromorphone being prescribed after trying many other possibilities. She gave me a very small amount to try and then when it was successful called in a larger amount Thursday. I went in to get it and Jasmine came back and said they didn’t have 60 pills and would need to order it so I needed to come back on Monday. I asked if I could have what they had and pick the rest up on Monday. She said if I took what they had they couldn’t give me the rest when it came in. Must be a newer rule because your pharmacy is often out of different meds and they have crossed out the 60 and put 10 for instance with the understanding that I could pick up the rest when it came in. Maybe it’s changed and I understand that. But the whole time it was like I was a great burden on them.
So come today when the meds were to come in. I waited to call until later in the morning around noon to make sure it was delivered before I came to get it. After she checked she said it was there so I said I’d come about 12:45 as I had a dr appt in Tacoma. She said it wouldn’t be ready by then because they would soon be blocked out for lunch. Again I felt like I was a pain for her. I’ve seen elderly people be treated the same way there. I guess since I’m 72 I would fall in that category.
So after my dr appt in Tacoma and in much pain by then I went in to pick it up. And after she handed it to me I said to her that I have been getting prescriptions from them for 25 years but that I’m the last year I absolutely dread coming there. I pointed to the male pharmacist and said he is very kind but you and a couple others are not. That I had already contacted my primary care person and was switching to Olympic Pharmacy. (Which by the way I’ve gone to already a couple times when you had been out of prescriptions.
In closing I want to say I taught at Artondale for several years and could possibly have had some of your kids as students. They are also often vulnerable people and I have tried my best to be kind and supportive.
Very sick people and people who are dying have difficulty as it is getting there to pick up their meds. They shouldn’t also have to feel they are a burden along with the burden they already carry. I am sending this to corporate also.

Pharmacy Department
Over the past several years the Rite Aid Pharmacy has been my pharmacy. the last few years when I try to refill my prescription of Pregabalin (Lyrica), they will tell me it is too early. There have been other times where they don't have enough medications in store to fully fill it. When this started happening, I always had enough days extra medication to get me by. However, over the times of this happening my count has dwindled which doesn't work for my job (Firefighter/Paramedic- working 48 hour shifts). Now the pharmacy isn't open on the weekends. Because of these factors, My prescription will run out tomorrow. I am supposed to be able to pick it up on Monday but I will be at work. Besides, my dose will be at @ 6 in the morning. Your store won't even be open yet. This is not a medication that a person is supposed to stop cold turkey. It is also a prescription I need every day to perform my job duties. I am not pleased by these events.
Desired outcome: I need to get back to having some extra medications for my job/work schedule. Especially now, since you aren't even open on the weekends.

As a long time customer of Rite Aid, I have had my prescriptions sent to 4055 Market St pharmacy dept, Just as lately within the last 2 and 3 years has the service been vile, The staff has been rude, demeaning and short tempered with the customers, I witnessed just today, a man waiting in line for his medicine, and when he got to the front, the meds weren't available, (back order) frustrated he asked for his script back, the clerk was so rude, She said "Say No More" and handed him his script, they exchanged words, HE WAS NOT THE AGGRESSOR, THE CLERK WAS, he called her a bad name, The clerk and another associate started hollering "Your mother, which was so unprofessional. On Saturday 09/16/2023 at 4:44 p.m. I called Rite Aid on W. 21st Street, Norfolk VA to have a prescription refilled. At the time I was told that it would be ready for pickup on Sunday, 09/17/2023 after 11:00 a.m. When I went to pick it up on 09/17/2023 after 4:00 p.m. I was told that it was not ready and they had been really backed up. I find this totally unacceptable and as a result will not have the prescription that I needed to use today. Granted it is not a life or death situation but the prescription is for a very aggravating rash. I have tried to patronize the pharmacy because all of my prescriptions from my independent pharmacy were transferred there. No more. I will be having all of my prescriptions transferred to another pharmacy that will hopefully provide much better customer service. Big Pharma seriously is a huge disappointment to me and many others.

Hah! Where I live the Rite Aid does this to me EVERY single time, I come in to get my prescriptions which is bi-monthly and for over 15 years now! I live in a small town and there is only one pharmacy here and none nearby out of town either. And I have a lot of pain so it's hard to wait in a very long line to get nothing or to have to wait for 45 minutes for it. Again, every time! And you can't call ahead of time to try and save you a trip because the Rite Aid here doesn't answer their phones. So, consider yourself lucky that this only happened once to you. I wish this only happened once to me. If it was only once, well, everybody including businesses have a bad day once in a while. What isn't acceptable is the Rite Aids in some of these small towns. You would think it would be better because its small. But it seems the opposite is true. This has been a huge source of stress for me for a very long time!
Pharmacy getting my prescriptions
I have been diagnosed with a brain aneurysm. So I found me a doctor start going to the doctor in May of 2023 the doctor prescribed me amlodpine 5mg and Losartan potassium 50mg. How can you take over week to fill a lifesaving prescription? Being told I have to call the Doctor because they are not returning a fax is not an acceptable answer? This is not the first time this store has had trouble nor is this my first complaint. How come you don't offer your customers some medications to get past this problem? Or try to problem solve the issue to ensure customers are getting the medications in which they are prescribed? Rite Aid is a huge corporation with multiple locations close by. It was not until after making a scene in the store, was my medication filled at another location within an hour. All of my issues could have been resolved had this been offered originally. The last time I did receive 4 pills to hold over the prescription costing $60.00. I spend over $300.00 a month in this store I don't want to know about what my insurance covers. I have the money to pay for the scrip. WTF. How does your company not know I use this prescription every 30 days? And not stock it? The prescription in question, Entresto has been a part of my medication regimen for 3 years. This drug saved my life. How do you not know this when it is in my profile? My question is why you are trying to kill your customer's? Or is it you just don't care? Why has this scrip [protected] still not filled? I guess I'm going to have to call the Doctor since the pharmacy will only fax requests or so the pharmacist made me to believe. You don't call Dr's anymore? Again, you don't see the problem? Communication is key especially regarding people's medication.
