I initially booked the Inn for 14-18 June 2023. The Rep I thought was Priceline turned out to be reservation desk which I thought was Priceline. The quoted price per night was $225.00 per night. I received the email which the cost was higher and a reservation fee was also added to the card. The call was full of noise as people are talking and laughing in the background the complete time of the call. I asked to be sure of the $225.00 per night. When the email arrived there was addition cost for the rooms. I understand a few fees but the initial cost was not correct. I called back the rep pulls up the info and I addressed my concerns and he just said that what you have and nothing could be done. He was cold and provided no service and would not respond much as if I was annoying him. I ended the call still frustrated and without a avenue to address anything. I called the hotel and told them about the matter they arranged a room for 15 June thru 18 June 2023 and forgave the penalty and provided guidance to call to see if the original reservation could be addressed and to call the hotel and they would explain the situation so I would not be billed twice. I called the reservation desk rep again and was told they couldn't help and would not call the hotel. After a long time trying to explain a supervisor was finally available and called. I explained how the complete booking process had gone and she said it would sent to an escalation team (higher management) to be addressed and see if I could be reimbursed due to the cost was misquoted, the representatives and no assist in rectifying the situation. I haven't heard from anyone at reservation desk since 18 June 2023 when the representative promised I would receive a email, and nothing. I have been blown off and this is truly a violation of my consumer rights to inquire about charges and to have them addressed. Please assist this made my 33rd Anniversary a nightmare. Sorry so long, but I actually condensed it cause there was so much back and forth with the booking agents and supervisors.
