ReservationDesk.com refundable booking

I booked my reservation on 11/12/21 @ 2:20pm. My confirmation # is [protected]. I chose a room with cancelation policy that was refundable. My receipt claims it is non refundable. I immediately called your service and talked to your agent. She claimed they would review this and it would take 24 hours to hear from the hotel to see if they would refund my cancelation. I asked if I should call the hotel myself and get it resolved quicker. She said yes and to get their name and position and call them back at your service. I spoke to Erica at the front desk who claimed my reservation was through booking.com. I said that not true and I want to cancel their reservation and be refunded. She canceled your reservation and I called your service again. I spoke to Elaina who then spoke to Joe. Now they said it would take 48 hours or more to see if they would refund my cancellation.
I think this is fraudulent.
First, your name makes people believe they are making a reservation through the hotel itself. The $14.99 service charge is not disclosed until after you make a reservation. Second, your prices vary and one day later there is no room for $165. I choose a room for $167.34 with a cancellation policy.
I want to be refunded in full. I will also contact my bank if necessary to make a dispute on your charges.

ReservationDesk.com overcharged on my credit card

I am disputing a charge on my Master Card - Confirmation #[protected] at Days Inn at 1841 Parkway Pigeon Forge (Sevierville Tn). I made the reservation for (2) nights but upon arrival we were told the reservation was for only 1 night even though we were charged for 2 nights in the amount of $635.56(for 1 night). So my husband had to pay addition $125.00 for us to stay the second night. Note: we only paid the hotel $125.00 compared to what your company charged. Also, the lady at the Reservationdesk.com said through her research there were no other vacancies & that is the reason we felt we had no other choice but to agree. I called Reservationdesk to cancel after I realized that I had been taken advantage of to cancel reservation but they refused. I was treated poorly. I am requesting a refund for the additional night that we were charged. (1/2 of $635.56)
checked in Oct 9th/out on Oct 10 on this particular reservation & then my husband had to pay additional $125 for one more night. I have spoken to my attorney & he suggested filing based on fraud.

Desired outcome: requesting a refund for one night when we were charged for 2 nights.

ReservationDesk.com Poor Business Practices

Made a 3-night reservation (starting tomorrow night) at 3:59pm via this website thinking I was dealing directly with the hotel. But, then within 5 minutes noticed that a) I was not on the hotel's website and b) the room rate and taxes/fees were both higher than if I had booked on the hotel's website directly. I immediately called (4:06pm) the ReservationDesk phone number [protected]) to try to cancel the reservation, but was informed that I would be charged for the first night as I did not cancel by 4:00pm 24 hours before arrival. I even volunteered to let them keep their fees, but that offer was summarily declined.

Bottom line: ReservationDesk.com is pretty much a scam that does not offer "the lowest prices" (as advertised), charges hidden fees and does not conduct business in a consumer friendly manner.

Desired outcome: Cancellation of reservation without a one-night charge

ReservationDesk.com Hotel Booking

Made a reservation with them, recieved a confirmation, arrived at the hotel and found out that I had no reservation, contacted them they said it was confirmed but hotel said no, so out the money now that was paid and no refund, they did find me another hotel but it was run down and very sub par and almost double the price

ReservationDesk.com reservation service operator

I called to make a reservation at the Baltimore Harbor Inn and in the discussion with the operator (Logan) he told me that the price depended on whether it was a no-money-back reservation or one with a cancellation option. I said I was surprised at that since my previous reservation experience was that I could cancel up to 24 hours before the stay. Logan then asked me if I had booked a hotel during this COVID period and I told him that was not his business. He called me rude and said he would put me on a list that blocked me from reserving a room at the hotel. That angered me and I asked to speak to a supervisor. He repeated the threat to block me (at least twice more) as I asked again to speak to a supervisor. He called me rude again which angered me further and I told him he was rude. He claimed to have many years in the business and knew how to deal with rude callers. He put me on hold and after a few minutes, told me he was still waiting and would keep me on hold. Then he hung up.

This occured at about 9am EST on 7/31/2021. I think/hope you have a recording and can check it.

Desired outcome: I don't like to see anyone fired. But this person needs better training in customer service!

ReservationDesk.com Stole my money

I hit the cancel reservation button on the confirmation sent to me from Reservation Desk by mistake. I couldn't undo the mistake. Calling their line to explain what happened, I was told there was " nothing they could do. They had my 560 for a two night stay, a higher price than dealing directly with the hotel in Montreal would have been btw, and they simply kept the money. Theft.. no credit, on file nothing . I complained to the credit card company about the theft, 2 days later and Visa stopped the transfer of funds. Still waiting on the final outcome. The reservation desk thieves are fighting the block by Visa. I booked another hotel, with other money. Do not deal with this criminal org.

ReservationDesk.com reservation process at reservationdesk.com

June 2021, #[protected]. When I made this reservation I was not told of the $14.99 service fee AND my email address was not verified (with regard to the spelling of my name) when I requested a confirmation by email. When I did not received an email confirmation, I called a second time and when the agent completed the time consuming process to send me an email confirmation, again the spelling of my email address was not verified. I then used the on-line email form and, for the third time, requested an email confirmation of my reservation. After not receiving that email, I called the 833 number and made my fourth request. I had to ask the young man who answered to spell my name on my email address and of course it was wrong. I received the email confirmation at my correct email address but of course the email address on the reservation still had the wrong spelling of my name. I will never use this service again and I will not recommend it to anyone else. Thank you

ReservationDesk.com Scam - do not use this service

They lure you in, making you think you are booking directly with the hotel. Then charge your exorbitant fees. When I asked about the fees, they said they would explain in a moment. They gave me a confirmation number and I never agreed to the fees. When I asked about the fees for a second time and then refused to book with them, they said it was already too late. They had no desire to make things right, . Their only desire was to take advantage.

Desired outcome: I’d like them to refund the fees since I technically did not agree to this service.

ReservationDesk.com Service fee & taxes & fees

I made a reservaton online, no knowing it was thru Reservation Desk.com and saw an increased amount of tax and service fee of $14.99. I called and cancelled immediately but still got stuck with the $14.99 fee.
I will never use them and will gladly tell everyone I know!
A lot of my friends are travelling now and making their online reservations plus I have a friend that is a travel agent.
Very poor business and I can see why they have so many complaints.

Desired outcome: I want my $14.99 credited. It was only a matter of minutes till I called to cancel

ReservationDesk.com Company & Hotel Price misrepresented & overcharged

June 13, 2021 (Reservation Desk says it was made on June 12, but not true)
I called the number for a hotel. A message came on the line saying I was ninth in line and offered to call me back. I no sooner hung up the phone when it rang. The voice on the other end did not say they were from Reservationdesk.com, so I thought he was from the hotel I had called. When he booked a hotel for me, he did not tell me he was using Priceline.com to do it and he told me my charge was $78.11. However, when I looked at my bank credit account, I was charged $107.43 from Priceline.com and an additional $14.99 booking service fee that it turned out was from Reservationdesk.com. (A Priceline agent said the company was lasvegasluxuryrooms.com, a site that doesn't seem to exist. I've had a great deal of trouble trying to talk to someone at Reservationdesk.com, even supposedly being transferred by Priceline.com, but instead getting a message that said, "if I want to directory assistance, dial 9", and then being hung up on. I had to act like I was trying to book a room to get to talk to someone after being on hold for a long time, although that was better than being on the line and going from 28th in line all the way up to 34th in line earlier and then never being called back when I finally hung up the phone to stop going further back in the line and opted for the callback option instead. The person said I would be refunded the $14.99, but not the $29.32. I will see if I ever get that refund, but I should be refunded the rest of it as well. This company needs to be put out of business, and if Priceline.com is helping them with their scam, they should be charged as well.

Desired outcome: A refund of the $29.32 and $14.99 fees and this company put out of business!

ReservationDesk.com Cancellation fee.

Reservation Desk.com has taken my credit card number and used it for $14.99 cancellation fee, when I cancelled it within 30 minutes of making the reservation. I do not think this is fair. It is deceiving.

I have a reservation confirmation number and they state they cannot locate it. I cannot get service from them. Their phone service states over an hour wait to speak with a representative
Reservationdesk.com is ridiculous

Desired outcome: I want my reservation found and canceled. I choose an option of room with free cancellation with small up charge fee and on my print receipt it states , non refundable.

ReservationDesk.com Undisclosed 3rd party service fees

On May 24th, 2021 I called Holiday Inn express toll free number to make a reservation for May 25th at their Pensacola NAS hotel. Don't know how but some how got redirected to "Reservation Desk" company/number. The man who I spoke with on the phone did not mention to me that he was not with Holiday Inn Express Reservations, he gave me a quote of a total of $181.41 for the May 25th. check in. He definitely did not mention that he was going to book my room with Priceline whom in fact charged me an additional service fee of $59.85. This man did not mention that he was using Priceline or any other 3rd party, I had no Idea until Reservation Desk sent me my check out bill via email the next day 26th. I called them right away and asked them why I had a total bill of $255.89. they told me it was because they used Priceline, which I had no idea they did that. I have emailed these people several times and each time they respond back they say that I need to call the hotel directly to get those additional fees credited back to me. I called Holiday Inn Express in Pensacola like they said to do and the clerk told me that they didn't charge me anything themselves, that I booked through a 3rd party, therefore they are the ones who charged me the amount they felt like charging me, that they could not do anything about it.
I emailed Reservations Desk again to inform them what the hotel had said. They refuse to do anything about it. So I called Priceline and asked them to credit me, spoke with their manager Andrea on 6/1/21 at 11:25 am, she said that the Reservation Desk clerk that made my reservation should of disclosed to me that he was booking my room with them and that there were going to be additional fees on top of my $181.41, the additional $59.49 that Priceline charged me is outrageous and ridiculous and totally unacceptable. Reservation Desk has refunded me the $14.99 that they additional charged me behind my back for their fee, but has done nothing to get my Priceline fee of $59.49 refunded back to me. This company is a fraud and should be put out of business for unethical practices. I asked Reservation Desk for a copy of the audio recording from May 24th, and they said they could not give that to me, of course they cant, because the rep did not mention that he was a 3rd party. [protected]. I did some research myself and their seems to be numerous complaints about this business ripping the consumers off with all their additional fees they are charging through 3rd party hotel companies.

Unfortunately we have evaluate the call recordings and our agent did informed you that we are reservationdesk.com an independent booking agency which means that our agent did clearly let you know that we are not the Holiday Inn Express Pensacola West - Navy Base, an IHG Hotel. We cannot process any refund from our side since there was no error. Please contact the hotel directly and ask for an approval for your refund and if they are willing to refund your reservation, please reply to this email with the name and position of the employee who gave the approval and with that information, we will send it over to our provider so they can make the decision if they can refund your reservation but I do not guarantee any refund that will be process because that is up to the hotel and our provider. Thank you

Desired outcome: to be refunded by Priceline or Reservation Desk for the $59.49 service fee.

ReservationDesk.com unethical behaviour

After booking a 2 night stay through what I thought was the hotels reservation service I received my confirmation email from reservationdesk.com. There was $157.13 charge for taxes and fee in addition to a separate service fee of $14.99. I know the taxes were $28.00 from pricing on other booking services. After realizing I was being ripped off I immediately canceled. I was notified that refunds take 8 to 10 business day even though I was charged immediately when I booked. Do not use this their website do not even look at their website and tell everyone you know to steer clear of them. You can tell everything about this company by the 58 complaints and 0 resolutions.

ReservationDesk.com Deceiving practices

When attempting to reserve a hotel room I was redirected to their site. Fine .. I have booked thru 3rd parties before. But they intentionally show a much lower room rate and add a substantial amount to the taxes and fees. The fees are in excess of 40% while that county's fees are 15. 5%. Plus they charge a $14.99 service fee. There is no savings booking thru them. I called their number and they had no explanation other than to say the bottom line price was essentially the same as if I used other sites. I prefer not to deal with companies that prefer to practice deceptive selling practices.

ReservationDesk.com A reservation that was canceled

My family an I made reservations to stay at the hampton inn in merriville indiana to check in on april 4 2021 for a 2 night stay we arrived well before check in time only to find out our reservations had been canceled by the hotel this put us in an akward position having to scramble to find lodging on a holiday weekend

ReservationDesk.com Booking and Cancelations

It took 2 days to get the phone call through to make a reservation, I was told when I made the reservation that they had an issue with their lines. Upon attempting to cancel the reservation again, The phone just rang. I called the Corporate office "Wyndham" but since I called a number not straight at the hotel I was informed to call the original number back again, for they would not be able to make a cancelation for us. I called back again and finally got someone to answer and of course when I spoke with Roger the supervisor he denied that they did not have any issue with their phones. The reason for our cancelation was that my spouse was scheduled for Medical proceedures in the middle of our trip. I think this is a trick by them to make money on their part for "If they don't answer their phones you can't cancel". We lost $391.00. Guess they will have a party now. I will never book a Wyndham room again. Again do not make reservation through "Reservationdesk.com" they could care less. Call straight to the Hotel.

ReservationDesk.com Misleading Marriott Hotel Booking

If you type Marriott, the SEO selects reservation desk. com. If you are not paying attention, you won't know it's not Marriott. I asked them to check if my reward points were listed for Marriott and they said yes and to confirm when I checked in. I called Marriott to confirm the reservation, and while I had a room, they refused to acknowledge points since reservation desk is a third party. marriott advised me to cancel the reservation and rebook through Marriott. I called to cancel and reservation desk would not allow me to.

This is a crime and this website and business should be prosecuted. I am in the process of doing just that. If anyone else is doing this, I would like to hear about your progress. I will be contacting an attorney today.

ReservationDesk.com resevation

I reserved I room for Sun Jan 31. R2265352145 was my #.
I call Sat Jan 30th @ around 5pm to cancel Sun Jan 31th and was told I was TOO LATE to cancel 24hrs ahead.
I paid extra for this service so I could cancel due to weather/delays.
When I called 24hrs ahead they inform me I am TOO LATE.
I WILL NEVER USE THIS SERVICE AGAIN!
I will post what a RIPOFF this is.

ReservationDesk.com Pretending to be hotel resort in destin

I called a Toll free number on Hilton Hotel Resort in Destin and Thought I was talking to the Hotel and They made the wrong Reservation for me at the wrong Hotel and Now I can't get my money back to book My vaaction. I googled this Scam company and They I see similar incidents have hapopens to hundreds of people. Fast talkers Pretending to Represent the Hotel Property.

Desired outcome: I want my Money back to book my correct vacation.
