found on most hotel websites
Do yourself a favor and call the hotel that you desire to go to directly--never book a room online. This company somehow took a reservation I made on Holiday Inn's website--and couldn't even get the destination correct. They said the rate I secured could not be issued a refund---there was no such "special rate." This is a scam company who preys on booking engines-- Calling them brought my call directly to India. How they are able to do this boggles the mind !
I was refused a refund
First - duplicity. Appearing to be a call center for an actual hotel.
Second - Refuse AARP Reservation
Third - Change Reservation Rate after Hotel made adjustment
Fourth - Charged my account for full reservation before I ever checked into hotel'
Fifth - I became ill and had to leave after the first night of our two night reservation. I was refused a refund.
they are scam company and stolen my money
took credit card info, sent confirmation, got to the hotel and there was no reservation.
motel "best rate" pricing
The web site says 'best price available' which apparently means best for Reservation-Desk because when I arrive at the Comfort Inn I found that I could have booked the room for 25% less if I had simply called the motel directly. My advice - stay away from this company. There are numerous other complaints posted which I failed to see until after I had booked with them. Maybe this post can save other from the same scam.
ripped off
Reservation Desk's phone number was somehow in my Google search for the hotel I was looking to stay at. There was no indication of this being RD's number as the hotel website listed Reservation Desk phone instead of their own. Upon checking out I did not get a receipt as they told me "I booked through an agency". My colleague called the hotel directly and booked for $105 within 1 hour of my reservation, my price through Reservation Desk was $153.
This company is phishing online for business and scamming people into believing their ARE THE HOTEL itself through the nature of their voicemail system. This is FRAUD.
their deal was scam
Don’t trust to the company www.Reservation-Desk.com. They offered me good deal, but when I wanted to pay for the booking, it turned out that they didn’t tell me about all charges and fees. In result I needed to pay more than $1, 000. OMG. I tried to cancel this crap, but the rep refused and asked to pay ASAP. So be aware and share this info in order to warn other people.
they ignored my request and charged me for the reservation
I made the reservation through the website www. Reservation-Desk.com. I spoke with the rep and asked not to charge my card, ‘coz I wanted to pay with cash. I was shocked when I checked my account and it turned out that they took money for the reservation. The rep ignored my request and took money without my permission. Stupid rep and the worst services, so please be aware and better don’t deal with them.
no refunds
I went to reservation desk. Come and book the room in New York City which was supposed to be a sweet they took out $ 2100.00 out of my bank account and when I got to the hotel it was not as sweet it was a single bedroom that was only worth $900 reservation desk promise to refund of the remaining balance which they been promising me for the last 3 months but...

I booked room through the website www.reservation-desk.com. I filled the form and paid about $30 per night, but after that I haven’t received any info about the room and my order. I waited couple of hours, but nothing. I called to this company and it turned out that my email with the confirmation number was lost somewhere. WTF? As well as the receptionist was rude and impolite lady. Not recommended website.
hotel rate inaccurate
I called 2 weeks ago to discuss making group reservations at a local hotel for a training I am doing. The representative quoted me a rate, agreed to hold 5 rooms at that rate and told me to have guests contact him to get rate. When they tried to make the reservation, they were told that rate was not accurate. I spoke to him, he acted like he didn't know...

I was searching for a hotel in the internet and ran against Reservation-Desk.com website. I registered for $10 and then I found out that there are no rooms available on 11/22. I called them and asked to return me registration money as I didn’t get the services I paid for, but they refused.
Called 5/19/25 for reservations. I thought I was speaking directly to the Ramada Inn. The ENGLISH is TERRIBLE ! 1st she lied and told me it had a pool - A MUST HAVE - it didn’t ! Deal breaker right there. 2nd never got my confirmation EMAIL. 3rd told I had until 11:59 pm 5/20/25 and they said I was passed the time because it was 6 pm. LIAR !,
On 5/2624, I made a reservation for 1 room with 2 queens, for 2 adults and 2 children. Total for 2 nights was $360.26. I was charged that amount twice on my card. I have tried to contact customer service and have yet to get someone to answer the phone, for 2 days. Booking dates 5/31-6/2/24

If you’re putting an extra change make it clear. U can say it’s in the fine print, but you’re not making it clear. Because people don’t notice this charge up front, I guess u get free money. Not right!
Reserved room for Sun Jan 31th with cancel option.
Called Sat Jan 30th @ 5pm to cancel room .
Was told I was calling TOO LATE 24hrs in advance.
This is a RIPOFF SERVICE!
Will NEVER USE AGAIN!
Scammers!
They take your money and never make your reservations!
Used this company to book in steamboat springs for a condo. Not realizing it was third party until I kept getting charged a month after our trip. Called the management agency that uses this booking site on their page. Apparently it's through Expedia. The manager was crediting me but reservationdesk.com kept charging me. Tying up over $500 in pending transactions that were not supposed to be charged to me in the first place! Never again.
Yearly I am part of a group that travels from MS to Wyoming by car. Since we never know how far we will make it in a day, we often make multiple hotel reservations along the way paying meticulous attention to the cancellation dates and times. This year I booked a reservation with Rodeway Inn in Trinidad, CO for July 30, the trip going to Wyoming. That confirmation is attached ; note the cancellation policy is by 6 P.M. the day of arrival. Later in the trip when we determined our return date, I also booked a reservation in Trinidad at Rodeway Inn, unfortunately I mistakenly used Reservation-Desk.com. We actually stayed in Pueblo, CO at a Best Western and another Best Western in Pinedale, WY. Of the 5 reservations booked going to Wyoming, 2 were used and the other 3 cancelled without incident. Because of the traffic conditions and road work we witnessed on our incoming trip we changed our route to go through Kansas making it necessary to cancel all 5 original reservations going home. Of the 5, only one, Reservation-Desk.com in Trinidad was a problem. All others were cancelled without issue, however, Reservation-Desk.com charges my credit card. I actually called Seth Griffin, the name on the Reservation-Desk.com email and verbally cancelled my reservation within the allowed time frame. Seth assured me the reservation was cancelled but never emailed a cancellation confirmation. This was at $280 mistake on my part. I firmly believe these companies like Reservation-Desk.com are in business to take advantage of this type of situation. I would be curious to see how much of their revenue comes from bookings they say have not been cancelled. Happened once but won't happen again.
After we cancelled our one night stay two days before at a "Notell-Motel", we noticed there was a pending charge still on our bank statement on the day after the date we booked for. When we finally were able to speak to a ReservationDesk.com person, he told us that the charges will not go through but will show as "pending" for the day and disappear. He was and is a liar and a fat mouth and they have still refused to refund our money. Subsequently, we have found out that ReservationDesk.com actually booked two rooms for us at the same time but only cancelled one of them. Neither the "Notell-Motel" nor ReservationDesk.com will refund us our money after they charged our credit card for services not rendered because they continue to point fingers at each other.

We did call the hotel direct for Holiday Inn Resort on Jekyll Island [protected] and how it ended up with reservationdesk.com we have no idea. We booked 5/7/23 for a stay 7/20-7/23 and was told we had until 7/4/23 to cancel for a full refund. We contacted them to cancel the very next day and we received an email from reservationdesk.com that we wouldn't be refunded. They stuck us for over $1100. Holiday Inn keeps telling us Expedia has our money. Expedia isn't on anything. Not on the charge transaction or on the cancellation notice
