Republic Services review: Horrible service and customer service reps who lie.

We have had Republic Services since they bought out Best Way a few years ago. Our driver has been great. Over the past month, our trash has not been picked up for 2 full cycles. The can has been at the road in the same spot that it has been placed for the last 30 years. When you call customer service (in Phoenix, AZ) we're told that snowy and icy roads prevents them from picking up. A neighbor, who lives nearby (less than 200 feet) and lives on a dirt road has been serviced. Two times we have been promised a pick up by 7pm the next day. They have lied twice. One of the customer service reps argued with me about the snowy and icy roads and ignored me when I told her that there has been no problem with the roads for a couple of weeks. I was given the address to a landfill and told I could take my trash there myself. This company is horrible.
