Republic Services review: Employees that have no clue!!!

I called to have a large bulk item picked up. My regular garbage pickup day is on Thursday, so I knew as always that the large pick up would be the day after on Friday... BUT... Because it was the week of Thanksgiving, I knew garbage pickup would be one day later, so I specifically asked the lady I talked to if that would also affect my bulk pick up day to be one more day late. She assured me that it would NOT and it would be picked up on Friday. Well, of course I just called to check and the man I talked to said, yes it would be another day later and would not be picked up until Saturday. Why don't these people have a clue about their jobs. I knew more than the lady I scheduled it with did. This is NOT the first time I've had such trouble with them. I do hope that the city of Toledo will contract with a service that does better. It seems any service would have smarter employees that Republic Services.
