Reliance Home Comfort review: Rip off unethical practices

On July 312026 Reliance home comfort contacted my wife to offer their plumbing protection plan. for $24.99 CAD. with tax $ 28.24. The offer was the servixce will be no charge for 30 days. with a 10 day Trial and cancelation clause.
The cancelation to be accepted by Reliance you must send a written cancelation by email & or call.
On August 6 my wife wrote and sent an email to Reliance to cancel the Plumbing insurance..

To my suprise on December 6 I receive email and bill from Reliance charging us for the Plumbing insurance. I called Reliance and told them the insurance was canceled. after 4 calls they finaly cancelled. Yet Reliance still charged us. the $24.99. / mth service for 3 months. Once again I called back and poined out I had called and reported the pluming insurance were canceled. The issue are when you call Reliance customer support you are speaking to CSR all from INDIA. all have challenges understanding you and taking the concerns. I told them the service they offer is a SCAM. and the letter we received we followed when we canceled. Yet RELINCE LEFT HAND does not KMOW the RIGHT HAND. BEWARE DO NOT FALL FOR RELIANCE INSURANCE OFFERS. On January 6 I received a call telling me our account was unpaid for the insurance. Once again I told the person READ the NOTES. she finally offered me a $20.00 credit instead of giving me the full 56.00 Credit. They are so frustrating. I have decided to go to BBB. BUYER BEWARE. RELINCE CSR are SCAMMERS SADLY
