I am a continuous customer to red roof inn I love the staff and the hotel but today I was approached by a man who claimed to live there who proceeded to cuss me out about my dog when I have a little dog he said that he didn't trust my dog and called me a [censored] multiple times I went to the front desk and explained what was going on and I just got a refund...

Red Roof Inn Home town studios by red roof in denver took my money then wouldent give me a room.

I was scheduled to stay at the home town studios by Red Roof on Friday and Saturday night. When I arrived to check in at 3 pm I was told that the "system was down " therefore I could rot be given a room. I was pretty disappointed as my wife and I were expecting to be able to shower, change and use the bathroom at the very least before I had to go to my event in Denver. My wife had to end up changing in the car, and had to splash water on our face and use the bathroom at a local McDonalds. the front desk clerk was Very unprofessional as his response was "there is nothing I can do". We ended up having to leave all of our valuables in our car and uber to the event. when we returned at about midnight they still had not corrected there error and were refusing to honor their obligation to give us a room so we could sleep. we were forced to get a last min room in the only hotel that had availability on such short notice at a huge expense. not to mention the Uber ride back and forth to the new hotel. All and all the error on behalf of hometown studios by red roof in Denver ended up costing me over 300 additional dollars and a lot of lost time and frustration. I called their customer service who put me on hold for 45 min and then told me again that there is noting they can do. That seems to be their response for pretty much everything . I still haven't even received my refund for the 2 nights that I payed for and obviously did not utilize. Im my mind that is essentially stealing. I could not be any more disappointed

Desired outcome: refund for 2 nights that i didnt get to utilize, and full compensation for my additinal exspenses throuout the night to include 255 for other room, 46 in uber exspenses back and forth

Red Roof Inn Over charged

This place is a damn scam. They charged me a smoking fee of $200, which was more than my one nights stay. When I called the informed me that there was nothing they can do like Im just supposed to swallow that cost umm no. Especially in this times, I have bills to pay. When I asked for the proof and told them that I did smell well through the night they still had nothing to say. I've been coming here for years when I'm due for a mental break nor do I or have I smoked so for me to be charged is really messed up and this will not be the last you hear of me and that's a promise..

Non-smoking that reeked of smoke, no hairdryer or coffee maker in room as described, did go to front desk an gave to me after showing ad, reserved 7 nights left in 5, no maid service, had to take towels down an put in tote an request new, same with linens. I have contacted the company 3 times already, no response: "I stayed at the red roof east for the AKC Kalamazoo show, cheap but the residents there are up and out 24-7. The residents never clean up after their dogs and are a bunch of litter bugs. I left after 2 days stay and still have not received a refund. No clean towels daily, empty your own trash...

Red Roof Inn Newport news location

We enjoyed our last stay at the Red rood Inn in S. Carolina. So we book it in Newport news. The cab driver gave us a bad report about this place. After we got there a large numbers of bikers came in very loud. They congregated in front of our Room #15. we complaint to the office twice to no avail. They were loud and drinking. We were concern about our safety. They were an unruly bunch. The room needed attention. The bathroom door needs replacement. The bathroom need better cleaning. The bed blanket had many roach burns. We were extremely uncomfortable. We stay out most of the day to avoid the hotel room. Still, The bikers were there doing there thing. For two days we felt un safe. Management should have called the police. Never again.

Red Roof Inn The aurora hometown studio

I drove from Yellowstone to Aurora Hometown Studio. I took an extra night so I didnt have to drive 300+ miles 6/10. Upon registering and entering the room, the Non Smoking Room smells of smoke to a degree that is not acceptable.

Further the room is dated and the bedding smells of smoke.
There are dozens on cigarette butts on the ground in front.
If it were not so late in the day, I would leave now. I had 6/9 and 6/10 booked.
I will cancel 6/10.

Honestly I am appalled by the condition of the room In the web search this is nothing like what is shown.

Red Roof Inn Reservation canceling

Was going to Temple, Tx to visit father before he passed away but didnt make it. Called to cancel to receive money back but no answer! Never have gotten an answer out of this phone number! I have emailed directly to Red Roof Inn in Temple no reply! I have went thru the company website and it said it was being sent to the Red Roof Inn in Temple, Tx no reply! No refund! No reply! Just a little more added stress at a very stressful time! I will never use Red Roof Inn or recommend it!

Desired outcome: TOTAL REFUND $217.97

I found a used crack pipe in my room safe and I also found used condom wrappers and half full leaking alcohol bottles under the mattress with crushed cups and pizza boxes under the bed absolutely disgusting im very furious about this and have even taken pictures and videos.

Red Roof Inn The room condition

We recently stayed at the Red Roof Inn on Camp Rd., Hamburg, NY. I have stayed at Red Roofs plenty of times but never again. Got our room (134) and you could see outdoors under the door and the security lock was broken off so could not use it. The night stand between the beds was covered with a sticky substance. The rug was covered with stains. I would have went to another hotel but there was none available in the area and would have lost my money which was paid already.

Desired outcome: money reinbursed.

We we were given a room that had no frigerator to keep my pets food or are drinks the tv didn't work properly, the beds were worn out, half the bulbs were out. Everything was unplugged and we had to plug it in just to use it, disgusting trash under the beds was absolutely appalling... And the fact that I had to slam the door to get it open with my body...

We just got checked in on a reservation that was nothing like it was supposed to be none of our rooms where ready they had to put us in different room that was not the kitchenette in it.. Another thing witch was not too up to par was that I pulled back the sheets and black hair was all over it sheet was dirty.. I have never stayed at a hotel in my entire life where the employees were so rude and talked to us like the way they have here at red roof inn in Columbia MO and I've never heard that a hotel as a policy with NO VISITORS but my boyfriend and I have been staying here for about a week now and when we got checked in we were never told about this policy here...

Red Roof Inn Discrimination

I went to check I. At cadiz Ky. Red Roof which has a big sign that says pet friendly. When I told the front desk I had 2 small dogs, I was told only 1 dog allowed.
As I was leaving the parking lot 2 ladies with 3 dogs were entering, so I asked and they said yes they were staying there but had 2 rooms. That is still 2 dogs in one room, btw exact size and breed as mine. Only difference the ladies were of south Asian descent same as management. I am not.

Red Roof Inn Lubbock stay

Stayed at Red Roof Inn in Lubbock in March 2021. The hotel is in disrepair and should be closed until the safety hazards are dealt with. The halls were dark, no carpet and dirty. Felt very unsafe, but arrived to late to move to another hotel. Will never recommend this company to anyone. Everyone I have spoken to about it knew about Red Roof's reputation of poor quality.

Usually red roof is one of our nicer hotels so I get a room check in and start to settle in and I open a drawer to put my clothes away and find garbage I then continue to check the room over and keep finding areas that were never cleaned I was very disappointed in the room and the office did nothing a out it they blew it off like it was no big deal we paid...

Red Roof Inn Safety Hazard

We stayed at the Red Roof Inn Gallup, New Mexico, April 13, 2021. Room 233
When we walked in the room there was a chirping noise that was going off every thirty seconds. We quickly figured out it was the smoke alarm. I called the front desk and was told it just does that. Well, I took it off the ceiling and there was no battery in the smoke alarm. I disconnected the smoke alarm so we would be able to sleep.
2. The bed closest to the bathroom, metal popped when you sat down.
3. Television was not working. The direct logo screen is all that you could see.
4. There was no sugar, creamer or stir sticks for coffee and tea.
5. The woman working the front desk when we checked in, had no customer service skills.

Desired outcome: Correct the issues so that weary travelers will not encounter the same hazardous experience that we did. If the Red Rood Inn would like to give us a refund we would gratefully appreciate it.

The room I checked into is filthy with dust everywhere. It hasn't been cleaned. They just changed the sheets and washcloths. Nothing else was cleaned. The rating is 7.2 and this is definitely not a 7.2. The inside of the refrigerator isn't clean. The shelves have dried up spots of liquid that wasn't wiped up. I can't believe I wasted my money on a room that was disgusting.
