Ramada overbooking in ramada plaza by wyndham newark international airport

I recently had a very frustrating and extremely costly experience with your hotel. I feel that I am owed compensation from Ramada Windham Hotels for my expenses.
On September 6, 2019(5 days before check-in day), I was confirmed on Ramada Plaza by Wyndham Newark International Airport. I was traveling to trip I had prepared for 2 months that was for 2 weeks and cost $8, 000. I arrived at the hotel well as it was scheduled but discovered that your reservation agents had double booked the rooms. Despite my protests, I was informed that there was no room for me on the hotel. They let me know that if you wait 5 more minute, they would make room. But I had to wait 4 more hours until tomorrow 4:00. I expected nearby hotel to get some sleep but it was a hotel which is 30 minute-distance by car from Ramada hotel. So there was no way but to get back to the airport in the dark staying up all night and ride airport bus to attend a meeting starting 9 am in Manhattan. Overbooking made me feel terrible and ruined my physical condition totally. It affect the whole schedule for 2 weeks.
I paid in advance to confirm my reservation. Moreover, we had a contract. You had an obligation to reserve and hold my room. Therefore, as compensation for my experience, I would like you to provide me with accommodation tickets to any location I choose in the next year and $300 in cash. Nothing can compensate me for the loss, but I want to ensure that you think seriously about your commitments to customers. Treating them badly will only bring you bad publicity and loss of business.

Ramada plumbing

Room 120 Dallas love field Ramada. 1st night toilet flushed slow and over flowed. Complained to desk. 3rd night took a shower and tub would not drain. Flushed toilet 5 minutes after shoes and raw sewage came up in the bathtub. Told front desk and they said maintenance was gone for the night. I asked for a new room and she said there wasn't any available. This is a health hazard and I need a full refund for my stay. By far they worst experience ever in a motel.

Ramada hotel stay Calgary downtown

I am writing today to complain of the poor service I received from your hotel on the night of sunday the 21rst of October. I visit Calgary pretty frequently for business and this was my 6th stay at this hotel.

Everything was fine up until the evening of the 21rst of October 2019. I was sharing a room with a colleague and due to my insomnia/jetlag, I decided to go downstairs into the lobby to do some late night work. It was about 1 am and I sat quietly doing my work when I noticed a security guard watching me. There was nobody else there, I was alone. At about 01:44 am, the security guard told me I was not allowed to be dowstairs anymore and that I needed to go elsewhere. I told him I had insomnia/jetlag and I usually do my work in all the hotel lobbies I stay in. He told me not here. I told him what was my choice to go outside? His answer was basically I was not welcomed in the lobby, and that I needed to go elsewhere. When I asked for an alternative, he did not have any. So I ended up moving my work outside. Now I would also like to mention there was a shooting in front of your hotel the night before and I, a female, was by myself.

I have never felt more unwelcomed by a hotel ever and that my safety did not matter whatsoever. The next morning when I went to check-out, I did leave a complaint with the manager on duty but she told me it was cultural due to the security guards ethnicity as if to justify it. Absolutely no remorse or concern regarding the safety of my person. No one has contacted me since.

I run a business and travel quite a bit. i would never put a woman out at 01:44 am in the streets, especially if she was a client and especially if there was a shooting the night before. I was staying there for 4 nights and seriously have never encountered that type of customer service. Again no one followed-up with me, nothing.

Ramada services

Good morning,

My name is felippe valdez and I stayed at the ramada hotel in Paramaribo yesterday 10/29/2019 . Today I checked out and told the front desk I had consumed somethings in the mini bar and the front desk told I had to pay for them. I wasn't aware that my company didn't pay for them. So I told the front desk that I wasn't aware of that and that I had forgotten my atm card in Brasil. The guy kept saying that I needed to pay and I told him that my company only opened at 9 a.m. but he didn't care just kept saying that I needed to pay never offering any other solutions, so I woke up my manager through whatsapp and told him what had happended and he said for Ramada to contact Copastur and that the situation would be handled, the guy said that Copastur needed to email them, he refused to call ou contact them. So my manager said that he would approve it, and for the front desk to contact my manager through and email but he still refused and I told him I needed to catch a helicopter trip to the rig and all he said sorry but you can't leave. Never did he offer to contact anyone or be proactive in the situation knowing that I am not from the Suriname and didn't have cellular phone service in the country. And I showed him thew messages but he didn't seem to care one bit. So finally I said I couldn't stay and for him to email my manager that he would approve it. After lots of insisting he told me to write the email and said he would contact my manager and if they didn't approve it I would have to pay for it. I told him I would pay if I had my ATM card with and never refused to pay. After all was cleared up I went to shake his hand and he refused to do it. I worked in a hotel before at the front desk and I never did that I was always proactive and tried always to help the guest and I saw that he didn't really care in helping me. And I saw that there was no breakfast for us since we were leaving earlier but there was a snack bag for us to take. I have stayed in many different ramada hotels and I have never seen this nor an atitude like this. Normally in the ramada hotels I stayed they would serve breakfast earlier for us it wouldn't be complete but at least it was an good breakfast. Is this is how ramada treats its guests? I didnt' like the way the personnel at the front desk treated me and never offered to help and always acted hostile about the whole situation.

Ramada service

My name is Kevon and I checked into Ramada room 304 yesterday, and made a simple request at the check in counter. I am one of more than 50 people who decided to stay at Ramada for a business trip. I simply requested a room overlooking the pool. To my surprise, my request was disregarded by the receptionist and when the marketing manager made a request to the operations manager it was categorically denied without a reason provided to me. To add insult to Injury, my hot water does not work and there are things in my room that has a good bit of wear and tear overtime and it needs replacing or fixing.
I was of the honest impression that service is a major thing and the level of disregard to me is amazing for such a popular establishment. I don't think my request was anything impossible. But even if the reason for being denied was that no rooms were available, there is a professional was to do so. I am the only one from my team that made that request and I am also the second person to arrive, as the rest are due to arrive this week. the employees at the front desk need professional standard training.
I don't think I want the room change anymore to be honest but the level of service needs to

Ramada 1 day stay oct.16-17th

I chose this hotel as they were a Ramada-a known hotel. The weather was getting bad and I drove an extra 1.5 hours to get there. Unfortunately the electric power went off around 4 am and did not come back on. We were informed that the generators were broken. I had planned on spending the morning relaxing and catching up on some work on my computer. Instead I left and drove back to NY. The lobby was inundated with people and I called Booking.com but couldn't get through. I drove home to long island and finally got through 2 days later.

Booking.com has not helped me.

I simply ask for a refund of my nights stay.

Ramada general standards

This hotel advertises itself as 5*, it by no means that. There are no robes in the rooms, no carpet on the floors. The bathroom has little washing accompaniments. The minibar is very basic, no milk in rooms, or biscuits. The standard of food low, tasteless and repedative.
The continued music booming all day is annoying.
The general maintance is very poor with phones hanging off walls, locking sections on doors gauaged out. Wooden decking broken.
Ramada Wyndam used to have a good name said quality. NO MORE.

Ramada customer service and pool cleanliness

We arrived at the Ramada Orlando on Tuesday 24th September. On arrival to our room (after travelling for 23 hours with 3 children) our fire alarm was intermittently going off. I called reception about this at approx 7pm they informed me they would send someone up. at 8.30pm my parter went back to reception and was again told someone would be straight up. I had to phone reception again at 10pm. eventually the maintenance man came at 10.10pm (over 3 hours of waiting with a child sensitive to noise and at this point all of us being awake for 26 hours!...you can imagine the fun we were having).
Day 2 - Breakfast - 3 of our party have food allergies and i asked at breakfast if there was any soy milk. I was abruptly told "no" I then asked if there was gluten free bread to again be told no and the converation ended by the woman turning her back on me.
We decided to have a day at the pool and lunch in our hotel room after such a tiring day travelling. I went to Whole Foods and purchased lunch and some gluten and dairy free items (I understand that you do not provide these items and was happy to get them myself) on return to the hotel I asked for the complimentary kitchen pack to be sent to our room as we were about to make some lunch...3 hours later and after 3 asks our kitchen pack arrived. I filled the fridge with all of our purchased items for the next week but the following morning on going to remove the items i found everything was completely frozen solid and i had to throw most of it out.
There are 5 of us in the room but even after requesting more towels and having 5 in the room it seems that we only ever get 3 replaced. I left a not for housekeeping (on top of the 3 towels we were left!) explaining there are 5 of us in the room and guess what? 3 towels were left! i would have phoned reception at the point but im pretty sure by this point you understand that would probably have been a waste of time!

We were initially booked with Thomas Cook and lost our holiday on Monday morning. We rebooked everything on Monday and chose your hotel as it looked great. We booked through booking.com and chose you because of the rooftop pool and the gym. It was not clear on booking.com that this was only availible to certain rooms.
I have travelled extensively both for vacations and work and this is the first time i have ever felt the need to write an email to complain. I am hugely dissapointed in the service here so far and hope to see some improvement in the following week.
This was sent by email on 30th September, there was no response to this email. I sent it to the Facebook page on the 2nd. It was sent again directly to the general managers email address on the 3rd October. Each time I went to the reception desk I was told the manager was in a meeting. At one point On the Friday (4th) I was told she had checked and she had my email and she would respond in half an hour. Still nothing. I further complained about the colour and the smell coming from spa (hot tub) and the scum sitting on the top of a pile of foam. The smell coming from the pool was also terrible and I am aware there were a lot of complaints from other guests on this day. I called Ramada from the hotel and spoke to a lovely lady who logged my complaint (Sat 5th) she told me she had put this directly to the hotel and the GM had 1 week to get back to me. I have still received absolutely no response. In the end I checked out early from my stay and had to book other accommodation. My sons eyes were bloodshot and sore from the chlorine levels in the pool and all three of my children had ear infections by this point. There were 2 members of staff that were extremely helpful, Felicia and a young man with a bow tie. They couldn't apologise enough after my daughters swimming costume was removed from the room (hopefully by accident but was never returned) I didn't even bother reporting my missing watch (no real value but belonged to my recently deceased grandmother) this is by far the worst hotel I have ever stayed in.

Ramada health club mainly and others

Hi'
With due respect Mr.df I want to put it into your knowledge that lockers are still not given to us, we all members are facing huge problem regarding this . Kindly give us locker ASAP .

Secondly, there is messed up seating arrangement of la terrace restaurant they are blocking our pathway to pool and bathroom, so plz do it properly so we can enjoy our space and time .

Thirdly your health club bathrooms and washroom are in pretty bad shape kinldy do check yourself by random visiting that place.
Will be waiting too see our health club healthy again .
Fourthly, email given by their higher officials aren't working and they don't recive calls moreover this their owner didn't meet to their gold card members .
Lastly but not least, pool temperature and jacuzzi temp aren't maintain at international levels as they claim themselves 5 stars.towel provided by them are teared and decade old.

Hope this email would help them to maintain 5 star hotel level and I'm there decade old member but they didn't even notice my complaints. Staff is below education level, smoke around members and ask them for cigarette and disrespect them . I advise them to hire some educated staff for all dept

Ramada rooms

I have just a few complaints about the ramada hotel in grassland Alberta. I have stayed at this hotel a few times for work and wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone. I have went with no hot water at two separate times another time my pipe let go from the bottom of the sink and it took them 4 or 5 days to get it fixed after being told about it. The elevator is away broken and days before it is fixed, the last room I was in the ceiling was all yellow from water leaks and in the corner ceiling was black. Hope u can fix these problems cause I won't be staying at any Ramada hotels anytime soon

Ramada grassland, alberta

Just got some complaints about the Ramada hotel in grassland Alberta I have stayed here a few times on business and it's been the worst experiences I ever have. I have stayed in many hotels over the years being on the road for business the rooms the last 3 stays all smell musty. The pipe on the bottom of the sink was let go and leaking all over the floor and it took them 5 days to get it fixed. The ceiling in the bathroom had black mold in the corner where it as been leaking for a while and I notice the water was running from the shower to the out side wall in the room. It is totally up to yourself but the manager doesn't do much about any of these problems there where told about them and now the elevator as been down now for 5 days the water as been gone a few times now also come back to the hotel after work and couldn't have shower. Don't think I'll be using Ramada hotel any time soon

Ramada hotel room

Over the weekend my husband and I stayed at the Ramada Inn in State College, PA. To say we were disappointed is an understatement. The hotel was dirty, outdated, uncomfortably hot, and above all else, windowless. How can a hotel not have a window? My husband and I did not feel safe in that room. What if there was a fire? When we spoke to the front desk, they basically dismissed us. When you're in the field of hospitality, you would think that they would want the guest to be happy. My husband and I travel a considerable amount for work and leisure and we've never stayed in a hotel that is 1 star at best. On top of that, the hotel had a note on the desk asking for gratuity. Spending over three hundred dollars on this hotel is an outrage. I'm just very upset with my stay and it honestly ruined our stay and weekend. I would greatly appreciate a refund on this hotel stay.

Ramada guest relations and housekeeping

I complained to guest relations as housekeeping had been in my room to clean and knocked my hair straighteners off of the side causing them to break. The technical team looked at them and thought it was acceptable to super glue them back together as when they heat up this would melt and cause a fire hazard. I was told by guest relations that it wasn't good enough and that they would replace them by the afternoon, however when the time came they were refusing to do anything about the situation which is highly unacceptable. Please see attached pictures of when they were broken and of how they glued them back together. Ramada cancellation of 1 room

Hello-I experienced a life threatening cardiac issue early this week and will not be attending a family wedding. My wife, her sister, and their mother will be attending. I asked the Ramada facility and Expedia asked the Ramada to change my reservation to one room. A gentleman at the facility declined my request and Expedia's. I find this unacceptable and lacking compassion. This seems unacceptable with my current medical circumstance. My reservation number is #[protected]-Keith VanWagenen. Ramada hotel room had roaches

Hello my name is Kristopher Worth I stayed at the Ramada Wyndham Houston international Airport East this past weekend from September 27 Friday to September 30 Monday I had booked a total of three rooms for me and and my family was coming to Houston for the first time to see the city as well as to go to the Houston Texans game as well and when I made the reservations this stood out because it was near the airport and received great reviews, so to my shock after checking into the hotel at 230 am because our flight got delayed because of weather conditions we were all pretty tired so when I went into the bathroom to wash up for the night I was blown away to see that there were roaches all in the bathroom behind tg he toilet as well under the counter of the sink, I immediately grab my stuff and went to the front desk and the young lady at the desk gave me another room the other people in my party had the same issue but they just killed them, they were everywhere in the hallway, I felt so uncomfortable yhat I took my bag out to the car for I didn't want to hem getting into my stuff I wanted to check out and find another place but my family was so tired from the trip so we decided to stay so after staying the night and telling the front of my issues we left for the day and had house keeping come and clean our room and when returning I found that house keeping had given us dirty towels which one of the towels the floor mat towel had human faeces on I was highly upset and immediately told the front desk and had the house keeper supervisor come and see what house keeping left for us and she apologized and said that's never happened before and removed them so when checking out I was looking for some discount for the roaches and the dirty house keeping actions, so when I first asked for the manager of the he hotel I was told he wouldn't be in today so when me and the front desk got into argument and it was getting loud, surprisingly the manager Antoine pops out of the back asking me what he do to help, I explained to him I have stayed around the world at Wyndham hotels and this was the worse hotel I ever stayed at and the hotel should be condemned and I felt disrespected that I was told he was there for the day and he pop right up out of the blue, he gave me $20.00 off my bill for one of the 3 rooms and had the nerve to tell me that his house keepers said it was only babies roaches and I shouldn't worry about it, I am asking for someone to contact me and refund my stay for my first time visit to Houston was horrible and I will really think before I schedule another Wyndham hotel again and my confirmation # [protected] and my email is [protected]@rochester.rr.com and ph# [protected] and thank you very much for your time and assistance and have a blessful day in Jesus name

Ramada customer service

This place is horrible the worst customer service I've ever experienced. After having a beautiful day with family and friends, I had it ruined by attempting to check Into this property. First off the management is rude The lady I dealt with was Nichole who was the night manager apparently. She was horrible she needs to be fired period! I was racially profiled by Nicole. she called the police on me because apparently she didn't want me on "her property." After being treated like a peasant I told Nicole I might not want to stay at the property because the way I was being treated as a guest trying to check in. She then denied me to sign the contract grabbed the Room keys and cancelled my reservation because she didn't like the comment I made. I am now being denied a refund because they said the police were called. No arrest were made and no complaint was filed and when I call the property there is no one I can speak to over her. Never again my attorney will be in touch! Unprofessional and argumentative lady not a place that understands hospitality. I doubt that the Ramada will be happy knowing that they have someone like her representing the business. She needs to be investigated. #Fire Nichole #My attorney will be in touch.

Ramada hotel booking

I have done booking of Ramada Grand View in Hong Kong for 5 nights, they gave us dirty room with very bad smell, reception staff is very rude. They are treating us very badly. We have done prepayment and now they are taking use of it. We feel like running away from here but stucked because payemnt is done. Even room AC is not working. Please help today is our 1st night of the 5 booked nights. We have always trusted Ramada and I am a frequent traveller, this will break my trust in Ramada if no action is taken. Ramada denied stayed

If you are a pet friendly hotel why was I denied to stay there. Booked online and got there to have the guy tell me we don't take cats. Is my cat not a pet, for your pet friendly hotels. As much as we travel do I need to look elsewhere from now on. I fill like this is false advertisement. If you only allowed dogs then that is what it should say. I wasted a lot of time finding you. Your competitors took me right in. Thank god for the mom and pop Business

Ramada the hotel in whole

Everything about this hotel is miserable! Bugs all over my room. Lights don't turn on. How is one to sleep with these bugs all over the room! This is absurd. There is probably a reason this place not only does not have a sign up in the front of the building but no traffic coming in or out of the building. This is hands down the worst hotel I've ever been at. Bugs live in the shower towels given and the showers it self

Ramada front desk employees, managers actions to resolve problems, theft, horrible customer service

I had purchased 2 nights stay at the Ramada in Fresno. After the first night I went to lunch and ran some errands. I came back and my room was being cleaned by house keeping. I went to the front desk and said "what's going on?" They replied "Sorry we made a mistake" I said "ok just get me in my room I paid for please". They said, "we have to run your card again and charge you another deposit" I said, "fine". Well here's my problem. They charged me $200 for a dirty room fee. A dirty room fee I should never had because they should have never cleaned my room and moved my stuff. They had an invasion of privacy, and breach of contract and then they think they can charge me? No no noooo.. I don't care if you are Trump Towers or the Queen of England. I don't care about your policy. You stole my money and I want it back. They have not sent any emails or calls or text verifying the money has been returned. I have had a police officer go down there to see if they will return it. They said no. This
