On 09/22/26, I had an appt for my labs at 07:40. I was taken back by Perla all was good until she informed me my Dr. didn't put the right code for certain labs and I'd have to give them a credit card on file in case not paid for by Medicare. Then she asked me to sign a computer pad that supposedly says I refuse the test. I said I'm not refusing, I will contact my Dr to ask about the codes, so refused to sign. Note I had a U/A ordered also an unable to pee at time so they held that lab. Anyways we move on to next set of labs and she ask me to sign on pad also and says its agreeing to get the rest of the labs , I signed. I felt something fishy so I asked for a copy of paper of what I signed and she gave me a paper that says , I don't want the test. I said I knew it, that's not what you told me I was signing, said that's falsification. She left and went and got her coworker Brandi who came in lecturing me on the process when I finally could get her to listen ( had to just sit there and let her get her steam out ) she finally got what i meant then said so your accusing her of falsification your signature and I said yes, I only signed that pad thing one time. So she went back in computer ( none of what I could see ) and said those 2 signatures are exactly alike. I reiterated I didn't want the iron test canceled, wanted to contact my Dr and I only signed once of which I was told to say I wanted my labs drawn.
Recommendation: Get copies of all paperwork. Don't trust what they tell you.
