HEY META / FACEBOOK — ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!

On 27 September 2026, my personal Facebook account was blocked without justification. My business page, Hunter Valley Joinery (NSW), was also affected, leaving me without proper access and with five active restrictions preventing me from using essential features.

I appealed. On 28 September 2026, Facebook emailed me confirming that my appeal had been successful, that an error had been made, that my account activity complied with its Community Standards, and that I could use Facebook again.

SO WHY, ON 14 OCTOBER 2026, ARE ALL FIVE RESTRICTIONS STILL IN PLACE?

It's now more than two weeks since Facebook acknowledged its mistake, yet absolutely nothing has been properly resolved.

In the meantime:

I have lost two paying jobs worth approximately $55,000.

I have spent more than eight hours dealing with Meta's AI assistant, going around in circles and being sent on wild goose chases.

I have emailed Meta and Facebook more than a dozen times.

I have contacted the eSafety Commissioner and the Australian Small Business and Family Enterprise Ombudsman (ASBFEO).

And what have I achieved?

NOTHING. ABSOLUTELY NOTHING.

I am a small-business owner. I have spent decades building my business and reputation. My Facebook business page is an important tool for showcasing our work, attracting customers and generating enquiries.

This is not a game to me. This is my livelihood.

Facebook has acknowledged that it made a mistake, yet I am still suffering the consequences of that mistake while apparently being left to sort it out myself.

And the so-called support system? You cannot get a straight answer from a human being. You are left dealing with an AI assistant that keeps sending you around in circles without resolving the problem.

Frankly, I'd rather speak to my cat. At least I'd get a more sensible response!

So, HEY META / FACEBOOK — HERE IS WHAT I WANT:

Remove all five remaining restrictions immediately.

Restore full access to my personal Facebook account and Hunter Valley Joinery (NSW) business page.

Have an actual human being investigate why the restrictions remain after my successful appeal.

Explain why your company can acknowledge an error but still leave a small business suffering the consequences more than two weeks later.

I have been patient. I have followed your appeals process. I have repeatedly tried to resolve this through your official channels.

MY PATIENCE IS GONE.

Meta, you have already acknowledged that you got this wrong. Now take responsibility and fix it.

PICK UP YOUR F#CKING GAME AND SORT OUT MY ACCOUNTS. NOW!
