Hello, my name is Mahnoor Farooq. I got approved for special accommodation (disability) for my California Psychiatric Technician Licensing exam through the Board of Vocational Nursing & Psychiatric Technicians. When I went to take my exam on August 9th at the Psi riverside they didn’t provide me with my special accommodation the 2 extra hours that I got approved for. Before the exam I asked the asked one of the employe about my special accommodations and she said yes it’s showing in my file. But when I opened the exam it wasn’t showing the extra 2 hours and then I called the employee right away and he went and check and said there must be a mistake. I had to exit the exam with in 10 minutes, I didn’t took my exam and they told me to call the Psi customer service to file a complaint cuz my file is showing me prove of special accommodation. Then I went and call the Psi to file a complaint and it has been more than a month I been calling and calling but there hasn’t been a positive response. Every time I call them either they say it’s still in process or something else. This is so unfair to me I don’t know what to do at this point I have worked and studied really hard for this,it has really affected me mentally. I feel so discouraged i really need your help. Looking forward to your response.
