This is something extremely devastating to me and my family. Just like most of the people out there, I work hard to make a living. For the past 3 years, I've been working in China. A while ago, in 06 I think, I got a refi from Wells Fargo.

After the mortgage was done, I soon received a phone call from my mortgage broker. It appears that Wells Fargo did not process the auto pay when we were doing all the paperwork in escrow. After making the total payments and set up auto pay (with email confirmation), I thought everything would be good to go.

Yesterday, is when the nightmare happened. Last time I was back in the states was New Year this year for about one week. Now, it's mid Nov. and I have not been back there since. I do most of my payments online, PG&E, credit cards, and auto pay mortgage... Therefore, I did not bother to have someone to check my house and mail constantly. This is something I sort of regret right now...

When I was told my house has lock changed, belongings moved, and for sale sign outside, I really was shocked and puzzled. After contacting my personal friend who's an attorney, I was told my house was foreclosed and sold in Aug. Can you imagine what kind of shock this is? I never gotten any email regarding a non-payment nor was my mortgage broker contacted like last time.

I would imagine that foreclosure is something to a serious degree to the lender and the borrower. Why was the contacting process overlooked so easily. There is no way I could see the mails or sign for certified mail if I am not physically in the country. If I signed up for auto pay with online access, then why did I not get any email. By simply contacting the HOA, my mortgage broker, the bank could simply find a way to contact me.

Just like most of the people, if I did not get a notice regarding anything, I simply assume things are fine. If I did not get a notice from Wells Fargo, I simply assumed that everything is going through and well... Right now, I am angry, sad, upset, and depressed.

How can something this happen? My mortgage broker found it to be weird that they did not contact him like last time when they found something was wrong. The bottom line is, if they contacted my broker to contact last time, they could've done it again this time if they wanted.

Right now, I am trying to see if there is anything I can do to reverse the foreclosure or get some money back from the bank. My attorney friend is trying to find someone who specializes in this area and see if we can take care of everything in court and maybe even file a law suit against the bank for all the damages and trouble... I am not sure what all of your thoughts are on this... Any suggestions, comments, and advice will be greatly appreciated.

That property and everything in there was my whole life... I lost it... If there is anyone out there that can help me. Please let me know. I am forever grateful for all of you to take your time to read this report and perhaps help me out.
CEO Dennis Alter is a bad manager, bad person, terrible example to his family, community, and guys like this are ruining our country. Advanta is his very own perfected scam. Ok People listen up because this will save you thousands of dollars. Advanta works like this;

When you start a company you file with the state. Advanta takes that info and if you have good credit they offer you huge lines and low rates. BUT DON'T BE FOOLED BY ADVANTA. They will send you checks offering rates like 3.99% good for 2 years. But the second you use it they hammer you by reversing the deal, keeping your balance transfer fee of $1, 000 and jacking your rate to 35+%! They also raise your minimum payment to 4% of what you owe. Trust me, these are huge payments and at 37% the balance never goes down. I was a loyal customer for 10+ years. I was never late and I was well under the limit. I was also never notified.

So if you ask yourself what kind of a sick person created this corrupt loan sharking operation? Well his name is Dennis Alter. He's the founder and CEO and he lulls you into trusting because you think he's a great guy who 'gets' small business. He writes papers cheering on small business. He does interviews with professors from Wharton and politicians from Delaware (where there are no limits on interest rates). He collects art and donates paintings. He gives lots of money to crooked politicians in all the right places. He builds buildings at his alma matter. In other words, he is just like any other corrupt CEO.

But what makes him really disturbing is that evidently he thinks he's a good person. Most corrupt CEO's know what they are. Dennis Alter doesn't.

I have to pay Advanta off because I must have good credit. I have dreamed up every way possible to not pay these people after what they did to me. But they hold my credit hostage so I just have to pay this and chalk it up to one more company that earned my trust and took advantage of me.

Dennis Alter is a very sick old man.

I first signed up for a loan with this company through my dentist Allcare. They paid the dentist in full before I had any work done. I thought this was very odd. I soon noticed my monthly payments were getting higher and higher. So I purchased a loan from my bank after talking to them on the phone. They quoted me a price, and I obtained the loan for the amount I was quoted over the phone. Later, I received a new bill with a remaining balance and when I phoned them they told me the amount was for late fees, and other miscellaneous charges. I filed a complaint with the State at Attorney General's office and am still waiting for a reply. I do not intend to give them one more cent.

The web add read 'free try-out, pay only shipping & handling fee of $3.95' I signed-up and was charged $89.31. When I tried calling the 877 number to ask why I was charged, nobody would answer. This is an absolute misleading add and I would like to get reimbursed.

I was purchasing an item from Footsmart on -line and while completing an order, I was sent to this greatfunsite.com not realizing it. It was for an offer of 20.00 off my next order which I thought was with FootSmart. I signed up and lo and behold it is a program that charges 11.99 at the time. Now I have a charge of $11.99 a month showing up on my account.

I didn't realize it but notice it on my bank statement. I called the company on Nov. 4th to question the charges and was informed that they have been trying to contact me to send me my great discount card... hello... they have my address which I confirmed at the moment. So I canceled it. They have been receiving $11.99 for the past 6 months. That I have not received no services for.
I had received 3 magazines that I did not order and canceled them once they came more than once. Then I received a innocuous postcard from them stating the terms of my subscriptions and that they would be automatically renewed unless I canceled with a supplied telephone number, which I tried to do only to be told that they had already been canceled.

I have no idea where they got my name or credit card information, but I have researched and found it might have been through Drugstore.com which I have done business with.

I ordered a bulb for my Sony LCD projector TV in April 2008. It took several weeks to receive it from SageRyder's supplier. Once I received the bulb, I opened the package and inspected the bulb. It looked exactly like the one I was replacing; the mirrored reflector was a little discolored and the bulb looked a little dark.

Well, I put it in my TV and lo and behold, it did not work. That was a Saturday so I had to wait until Monday to call SageRyder about this problem. When I did call, the sales rep was very helpful and said I could do a quick replacement. Meaning, they would send out a replacement right away, which incurred another $177.99 charge to my credit card, and send me a return authorization to return the bad bulb.

This process went quite well. The new bulb arrived within two days, the R/A was in my email within a few days, and all was right with the world. In fact, the new bulb came in a Sony box as opposed to the bad bulb coming in a non-descript box with a small sticker on it stating it was a Sony XL2400 lamp (HMMM).

That was in May 2008. Since then, I have called several times trying to find out when I would have the original charge on my credit card reversed. I talked to several different people who pointed fingers every which way that they could, including their supplier. Finally, on September 9, 2008, I received an email stating that a refund check would be issued within 30 days.

I waited six weeks before I sent them asking about the status of my refund. No reply. 57 days and two subsequent emails later, still no response. It boggles the mind that a company who needs repeat business to survive would treat their customers this way.

I did research on this company before ordering, but apparently didn't do enough. Had I known this website existed and had the reports on this website back then, I would not have ordered from this company. In fact, the only reason I did was because Sony was out of stock at the time I needed the bulb.

Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me!

With as many complaints these b*st*rds have on them why are they still doing this to people. I'm a single mom with 2 kids to raise. I don't have an extra $99.00 just laying around for some sorry company to think they just snatch. $99.00 buys food for us for a month. I will take this as far as I need to see this doesn't happen to anyone else. If you call the 800 # they charge you, emails don't get answered. I will file a dispute just like everyone else but that doesn't take care of the charges. Companies like this have to be stopped.

Since my earliest recollection, the word “appliance" to my family was synonymous with “Kenmore". That is until recently. We have had the absolute worst consumer experience ever with Sears, and the situation is still ongoing. In late August, we went shopping to replace a Kenmore Dishwasher (that had lasted for 14 years). We visited the Sears in Clackamas, Oregon. A salesman named Roger sold us what was reported to be a “Consumer's Report Best Buy" Dishwasher. Upon delivery and installation we discovered that we had to remove a section of flooring (due to a recent remodel/floor build up) to accommodate the new appliance.

After the installer left, we noticed a large puddle of water in front of the Dishwasher when we ran it. We called the installer, who came back and found that the door had a faulty lower seal. We called Sears and asked for an exchange. We had put a lot of money on our credit card and wanted a Dishwasher that worked. They arranged to have another Dishwasher delivered (same model) and they picked up the defective one.

As the installer unpackaged the new one, and began to install it, he pointed out that that the new Dishwasher had a noticeable dent in the front door panel. We also noticed that the door was “sprung" and did not line up. Outraged, we went back to the Clackamas Sears store. We spoke with the original salesman (Roger) and an Operations Manager named Andrew.

We asked for our credit charges to be dropped, and to have someone pick up the damaged Dishwasher. We were finished with Sears, and ready to go down the street to Home Depot or Lowe's. However, the smooth talking salesman Roger pleaded (mainly to my wife) to let Sears have “one more chance to earn back our business". He offered a “discount", a gift card, and a “better" model. Reluctantly we agreed. This model still ended up costing $100 more on our credit card.

The third Dishwasher was delivered and installed. It was now mid-October. We ran the Dishwasher for about a week, and decided it was working sufficiently. We replaced the kitchen flooring. The day after the floor went in, we went to run the Dishwasher, and found that it was not working and the display panel was blank. We tested the circuit breaker and the supply wiring, and found that power was going to the appliance.

Very frustrated and upset now, we called the repair division of Sears to get a service technician out (since the kitchen floor had been replaced). We were told that it would be up to ten days before they could get anyone out, and this would be diagnostics. If a part needed ordering, it could be up to two additional weeks. This was unacceptable.

To make a long ordeal short, we talked to the store again, and there was now a definite reluctance to talk to us now. We have talked to Sears Source One multiple times and we have discussed our case with the Sears Customer Complaint Line.

We have decided, NO MORE SEARS. We have now pleaded with several divisions of Sears to please... COME PICK UP YOUR DEFECTIVE DISHWASHER, and TAKE THE CHARGES OFF OF OUR CREDIT CARD (and no restocking fee). We have re-ripped up our kitchen floor again to have this Dishwasher removed. WE WANT TO GO BUY A WORKING DISHWASHER FROM ANOTHER RETAILER.

There have been promises of “well get back with you tomorrow"... and no return call. Sears Source One told us they would get someone out early in the week. No one came. It's now NOVEMBER.

We are at the end of our rope. Sears (in its current organization) is a mess. The right hand does not know what the left hand is doing. They are out-sourced and subcontracted to the hilt. There is no one in this organization (not even management) that can pick up the phone and actually make something happen expediently for a very disgruntled customer. Unfortunately, if Sears continues like this, their future is bleak. We will not be returning to Sears. This is the absolute worst customer “service" experience.

I was doing online banking tonight and saw TWO charges for $44.85 to CCNNUTRA under 'pending transactions'. I immediately called my bank to report fraud. I explained that, while I DID visit their website with the intention of ordering their 'sample' for under $5.00, I reconsidered and never clicked on 'submit'. In other words, this disreputable company used my debit card number to place an 'order' for me anyway and TWICE!

My bank is issuing me a new debit card for around $7.50, which is a bargain considering CCNNUTRA is probably not above charging my account two or three or four more times. The bank also removed both charges from pending approval.

Please, everyone... don't assume as I did that you won't be charged just because you left the website without completing the order transaction. ALWAYS delete your CC or debit card number from a site if you decide you don't want their product after all! Also, your bank or credit card company will be on your side. Report suspicious transactions as soon as you spot them.

They will investigate and refund your money.

I always paid my Salute Card on time, last week paid it off only to discover they have canceled all of the Salute Cards! What can we do to them? They should not be able to get away with this.

I never would have paid it off last week if they were going to do this.

I saw on Oprah about acai berry and all of the benefits to your body! SO I went on-line to search for it and found a free trial! YAY! COOL! And then I ordered it, and waited for two weeks and two days. I ordered it Oct. 16, 2008. It wasn't shipped from Florida until Oct. 27, 2008. I received it today (Nov. 3). I looked on my bank statement and I was charged $118.86 from someone I didn't even know! I also received a letter in it saying that if I didn't cancel my subscription to extreme acai berry in fourteen days of it being ordered, that they would charge me $89.31. They shipped it, giving it two days from the time that I needed to cancel the subscription. I received it Nov. 3, 6 days AFTER I had the option to cancel. On my bank statement it said that I was charged on my credit card for $118.89 from 'YOUR VIP FIT.' What the heck is a VIP FIT? I quickly called the acai company and told them that I would like a refund, they said it would take 14 business days. And I told them the amount I was charged and the date. They said that they only charged $89.31 on that day. I said no, my statement definately says $118.86, and they said that it wasn't them and told me to call a different number, so I called it and got nothing. But it was odd the way she told me the number. I was expecting the last four digits, and only received 3. So I said '770?' and she repeated '7770.' I found that really odd, maybe she made the number up? I have no made any action, but plan to go to the bank first thing tomorrow morning to see what they could do! I'm a student at university, I can't afford to lose $118 out of my pocket for nothing! I'm really worried, and hopefully some action can be made, because I will fight this!

I was checking my bank account one day and realized that something for 99.00 was cleared on my account. This was strange, I don't recall writing a check for 99.00. So I pulled the details up and it was some kind of electronic check. I was the phisiest looking thing I have ever seen. I don't even know how it passed the bank let alone actually cleared. In the spot where my signature should have been it said 'PRE-AUTHORIZED' No signature required. What is that?!

Anyway, because of this lovely scam artist of a company, I have to close an account I just opened and start all over again! This is a major pain, I just started my direct deposit and everything! OMG are you kidding me right now. I want these people SHUT DOWN... if you have been affected by them please say something in hopes that this kind of thing will be stopped!

I have done work for Geeks on Time for a couple of years now. They have always been slow on pay but I had agreed to the 30 day turn around time and only agreed since they stated that they were working on changing it. All the time that I have done work for them I have to go after them to pay me and they have all sorts of excuses. But I finally get paid. Not this time around.

I have not received payment for jobs I did for them since Aug. 08. I tried the usual emails and calls but nobody replies or dispatcher just takes my info and then just hangs up on me. I have left numerous voice mails and sent in countless emails without one single reply. I have seen on here that I am not the only one that is getting cheated out of pay and would like to get a class action lawsuit against this obviously shady company.

I had a credit card in 2000 with Bank of America. I paid it off and ended the account, or so I thought. 7 years later I found that they had just placed negative info on my credit report. I called to investigate. They said 'You had a credit card with a $50 balance. You didn't pay.' I said 'I haven't had a card with B of A for years.' They said 'Our information is correct.' When you get a negative on your credit report it lasts 7-10 years. B of A waited 7 years to report their $50 non-payment, didn't bother to contact me. So now this will be on my credit for another 7 years. I certainly would have paid the $50 if I'd known about it.
I did order the trial of Extreme Acai berry and was able to cancel with the number provided with no problem, HOWEVER, I have not received the acai berry product free trial as of yet. I did not have the same result with TOTAL CLEANSE. I DID RECEIVE THE PRODUCT but was unable to get through to cancel using the number they provided [protected]. After reading on the internet, I discovered another phone number to try [protected] I HAD TO WAIT ON HOLD FOR A BIT, AND PROVIDE MY ORDER NUMBER, BUT I WAS ABLE TO CANCEL IN TIME.

Good luck to those of you still needing to cancel.

Simple to explain: I sent a payment Monday, they supposedly 'received and posted it Saturday' due on Friday. According to BofA, you need to mail your payment 7-10 days in advance due to the USPS. Doesn't mail usually take 2 days. Not according to BofA. I called to dispute the late charge of $39 and was told that if I had a problem with the date they received it, I should contact the USPS. I was offered a half credit for mailing my payment on time.

Then they took my 0% balance transfer interest rate up to 9.99%. But the kicker is they went back to October and decided to recalculate my interest rate and charge me an additional $12 in interest= $51 dollars total charges.

I signed up a simple shared 700-minute family plan at $69 + $20 for two extra lines and used only about 200 minutes a month. In the first month, I paid over 500 dollars for the phones, which they said were supposed to be free, and then $210 for the first month's bill. In the second month, I received $340 charge. Do you know what they charged for? This is an example: For my blackberry phone, after I removed their expensive $39.99 monthly data plan, they charge over $75 for data usage, saying the phone had used 2500 KB causal data services. If it was not a ghost that had magic to do it, it must be SprintPCS that makes fradulent charges. The phone could not even go to the Internet after the data plan was removed. I tried at least two times and verified it after the removal.

I called their customer service and talked to four representatives, they all recited one statement: all their charges are valid.

This company advertises celebs, Oprah CNN, etc. They offer a free trail just pay $3.95 shipping and handling. After 4 weeks the product arrived, 15 tablets and they charged my card $89.95 once I finally caught them on the phone they said the only way I could get a full refund was to send the product back and give them the tracking number. I had to get a supervisor to do that, they initially wanted to just refund half. I said what about the free trail? They responded those were the rules. Now I have to wait 7 to 14 business days to get the money put back on my account. Totally false representation and very unprofessional.

I have a WAMU online saving account, today, when i was trying to move money around with my other accounts, i found out that they were charging me $10 per transaction for every withdraw over 6 in this billing cycle.

I never know this before and this is the first time i see this. While i was using my MMA at HSBC, they usually send me a letter of warning, but not charge a fee like this. I tried to call their customer service to reverse the fee. I showed them this is the first time and 2 of the 3 'excessive' transactions due to the setup of direct deposit with other bank for me to move the money to WAMU (the other bank send in 2 small deposit and did a small withdraw.). The representative seems reasonable but explained to me that only the supervisor can reverse the fee.

The supervisor simply told me that that fee was used to 'teach me a lesson' and kind of required by the federal law. Yes, i learned the lesson and i then called in to close my account immediately and have all my money transferred.

WAMU has poor customer service, their 'free' banking has more hidden fees then other banks. People at WAMU are not reasonable, greedy and that is probably why WAMU is closed and taken over. And i wish this 'supervisor'(Eric) to lose his job in this financial crisis and therefore he can learn the lesson to be a a more decent man while serving the customer.

There was a $19.95 charge from my checking account. The transaction was on october 31, at 8:45am., 2017. I have not even heard of this company until today, on my checking account statement.
PayPal is guilty of gross discrimination against Sellers and Providers of services! I provided (delivered) services to a client that paid me through PayPal, and because of a lack of communication with the client and his estranged wife, protested the transaction. After speaking with me and his profound regrets, he immediately withdrew his protest and did so with a total exoneration of me and the services provided, all done in strict compliance with PayPal' policies.

Despite multiple communications with PayPal, they have yet to remove the 'limitation on your account'! This has gone on for 5 weeks now and I will not use PayPal again and I'll advise my clients all over the country not to use PayPal services that are governed by such ignorant, biased, discriminating arrogant and dictatorial policies!

I am considering legal action against PayPal. If anyone who has be wronged by them, please contact me.

I had applied to a company for a cash advance that I never got. Then I found out today that they had signed me up for this National Platinum Card that I never authorized. They took the money right out of my account and when I called they wouldn't do anything about it, said that I must have agreed to it in order for them to sign me up for it. I tried to contact the company directly and they only offer an email, no phone number and with no luck.
